  1. no surgeon is going to count how many 1s 2s 3s you have from ear to ear before a surgery. they might look at a square inch but that’s such a small sample size it doesn’t matter. during surgery they’ll do they’re best to cherry pick which ones they need
  2. as does everyone else. it’s a toss up. you can only do your research and pick a doctor you feel comfortable with and hope for the best lol
  3. yeah with the 1s 2s 3s you’ll only know those numbers when the doctor extracts the grafts so it’s not really something you can foresee. same goes with if the grafts will take. you look like you have nice donor hair. just remember hair transplants do not restore up to your natural density. it’s to give you the look of a full head of hair. doctors usually only implant between 30-60 grafts per square centimeter. whereas your natural density before any hairloss is usually around 100 grafts per square centimeter
  4. it depends. everyone’s expectations are different. things to consider: - what is your level of hairloss? - what is the density you are starting with? - how many grafts is your surgeon able to harvest? in what area is he implanting those grafts? how many 1s 2s 3s do you have? - will the grafts take/survive? some of this comes down to an individuals recovery
  5. i don’t think you lost any grafts. these “cracks” are quite common and form when the scabbing starts. from what i’ve seen it usually does not have any effect on the result
  6. I would say its shockloss, only because the size of the suture thread they use is nowhere near that thickness of shockloss you are experiencing in that train track formation. you could fit so many hair follicles in those train tracks that there's no way that was done by 1 small piece of suture thread if that makes sense... lol. just my unprofessional opinion
  7. What does he know about hair cloning and how close are we? What is his surgery schedule like? Basically trying to figure out how long his wait list is. Does he do 1 surgery every weekday? or 3 surgeries (MWF) a week? etc
  8. looks great. I recently got a procedure with Dr. B. Check out my thread if you would like to see a very similar procedure and strategy. https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/58261-2561-fut-dr-bloxham/
  9. I recently got a FUT procedure. I'm almost 3 weeks post-op and my head still feels numb above the incision line and sore in the donor area. How long did it take for other FUT patients to feel "normal" again?
  10. @JohnAC71 how old are you again? also do you have any thread about your journey on here? it’d be great to see a before and after if you are willing. you’ve been a great contributor to the forum
  11. doesnt matter which technique... it's going to come down to the skill of the surgeon doing direct hair, or the surgeon doing pre-made slits. either way there is going to be a recipient site one way or the other and it comes down to that person making the recipient site cutting another nearby follicle or not
  12. are you getting FUT or FUE? Depending on your level of hairloss and how much you are getting done, you could be looking like a freak for much longer than the first couple of days. Just be prepared lol. I would stay away from any "hats" for atleast the first week, but thats just my unprofessional opinion. I just went through a FUT 2 weeks ago
  13. @TommyLucchesemy experience was very good. 2 weeks post op. can’t wait to see what happens
  14. not sure if its because of the guys personality/production or the result, but its not good the whole thing is cringe
  15. Wonder what people think about riding a stationary bike 2 weeks after a FUT. I’d rather lift and do a full workout but I feel like that is not even worth risking at this point. I will hold off on that for a few months. Figured I’d hop on a bike to at least get some exercise these days.
  16. Do you have a thread? I realize from your signature it was 8 years ago but I can't find any of your results (if you posted them) on the forum. I'd love to see your results and how they've held up. Especially since I went to Dr. Bloxham who works with Feller
  17. I just watched the vid in your signature. You have a great head of hair now. congrats
