  1. Not quite a boomer! Haha! But I hear ya. : )
  2. I'm surprised you wear your hair at such length as you will continue to lose hair and are relatively young. Considering how fine your hair is combined with deep recession in the temples & frontal hair loss - in my opinion it exacerbates the 'thinning' look of someone with long hair & visually the 'dis-connect' between the zones of thinning/transplant hair vs more healthy normal density sides & back. The reason I bring it up is I have grown out my hair long at times (after many transplants) & it took 100% perfect styling & lighting at a length of about 20 inches & then I had to hope everything would 'hold.' I surveyed a bunch of random people asking them long hair vs short hair & nearly all said short hair improved my overall appearance & made the contrast of my frontal hairline/frontal hairline 'zone' less of an issue w/my surrounding hair. That was disappointing because I like long hair but finally gave up the ghost.
  3. I find it hilarious that younger guys in the prime of their life have to watch other younger guys on youtube 'choad' out on plastic surgery/fitness/'roids etc... It seems extremely narcissistic - but here we are all getting plastic surgery (hair restoration) - if only it was 100% normalized that regular functional bodies without alot of vanity muscle & balding is 'normal' for over 50% of adult men and that being overly concerned w/one's body & appearance was more vain (like women). But that's more a function of age vs vanity I suppose. I just don't get watching other dudes on youtube & obsessing & being overly 'aware' of them. It seems excessively boorish to me. Just my opinion.
  4. Unless you are a NW 2.5 or lower AND have really thick hair diameter - it looks very very obvious. It looks like you are very balding/thinning. Simple as.
  5. It seems simple to me - alot of medical therapy in the last 20 years & a world-class small transplant in the frontal 1/3rd. He doesn't need much - his hair characteristics are just about perfect.
  6. He has very thick/wiry hair. Personally his frontal hairline is severe and not symmetrical at all (wall of hair). His SMP makes his head look unnaturally blue. Frankly his hairline is too low & too abrupt. It's a very odd overall look - but those without a discerning eye for transplants probably wouldn't even notice anything too 'off.' Just my 2 cents.
  7. Looking clean. I had 2250 from Dr. Feller in my frontal zone back in '04 & had really good early growth. Dr. Bloxham's work is very good as well in my opinion. The extra 'native' hair in the very front center (forelock) of your hairline will only add to the naturalness of the results as it will 'frame' the front w/your hair restoration behind it blending in.
  8. There are so many personality types out there. People can really only 'be' the way they really are in the end. Frankly, I see very very few ultra-successful and/or wealthy or powerful male or females NOT in the public eye acknowledging plastic surgery. The whole point is to make changes other people won't notice in an obvious way. Sure, a few people 'own' it but this is the vast vast minority & that will never change. The majority of those that 'own' it have nothing to lose because they are not in positions of power or prestige. The 'majority.' I'm a nobody in my community & with women but I would never draw attention to my hair restoration or any plastic surgery. Most independent successful women that are not insecure will not react well to men revealing elective surgery. Besides, you can never trust a woman with gossip-type info - they can't help themselves in spreading it around. It's in their nature. Just my 2 cents.
  9. If you want to 'dense-pack' your existing hairline early then you need to find surgeons that can transplant at high densities within existing frontal hair. Not all want to or are really capable of doing this artistically (very important) nor technically. Choose well & you're golden. Choose poorly & you will not be satisfied. Your case reminds me of the guy who recently had surgery w/Dr. Ferrera - great results for us that have massive hairloss - but he is not completely satisfied - yet made peace w/his results.
  10. H&W are dense-pack proponents for 20+ years. Especially in the frontal 1/3rd. It's why their hairlines and hairline zone(s) results are so consistent & well done imho.
  11. I would see a dermatologist right away - after all they are the professionals and can examine your scalp properly. Or contact your surgeon.
  12. This just goes to show you that NW6 with regular hair need 10-12K+ grafts for full coverage w/a really good surgical plan. Anything less & you will still look like a 'balding' male. Not that there is anything wrong with that. We all have unique starting points & goals.
  13. Musk is so 'internet savvy' he probably did all the research himself. He's a workaholic - so my guess is he figured it out on his own. Also, he's Canadian - H&W in Vancouver. Bingo.
  14. You have male pattern baldness & have had hair restoration surgery. To wear your hair very long will never look naturally thick from top to sides to back (like females or men with thick non-balding hair). I would grow out the sides & do higher-end extensions for the back that do the least damage to your hair. Best of both worlds. I've had 9K+ grafts and have grown my hair quite long (24-40cm) but I always go back to short hair because the 'illusion' of density (top of scalp & frontal hairline) just doesn't have the 'weight'/bulk necessary to keep the look to my satisfaction under a variety of conditions. You could go a bit longer on top & hairline where you still have the illusion of most density -whilst going alot longer on sides and back w/extensions. Good luck!
  15. So do another surgery - very few here can relate to your concerns though.
  16. I looked at the 'comparative' photos. Ya'll that love 'wall of hair' hairlines are satisfied w/this surgeon's work. Fine - I was just thinking of longer-term results & prefer hairlines w/more single-follicular units & a WIDER zone of finer-single-haired follicles before putting thicker 2-3-4 haired units behind & blending a bit more artistically. To my eyes his hairlines look very similar for all his patients vs a more 'boutique' style surgeon who really takes the time & artistry to give very individualistic & unique hairlines across all hairloss/head shape types etc... I'm sure he gets all the patients he needs so it's always good to look at a wide body of work so all of us can really drill down & pick a surgeon that fits our personal aesthetics as well. Cheers!
  17. Erdogan - turned art & science into a moneygrab. I would have respected him if he stopped doing surgery & hand-picked & trained just a couple really talented protege's & trusted experienced techs & been the 'jewel of Turkey' - whilst still making a handsome living. He went another way. I'm sure he sleeps on piles of cash everynight - very restorative for him I am sure.
  18. This does not imho look like natural temporal closure for a caucasian nor is the dense packing adequate (singles) before the wall of multis. Good yield for sure - I'd like to see this surgeon take more care & better aesthetics in these areas - but what do I know?
  19. It's disgusting (air). In & out as quickly as possible. Then again if it's your only time there - what can an extra day or two do to your lungs in the long term? Who knows.
  20. I'm sure you will be fine. It's such quality work. Even if let's say 5-10% of the grafts were taken a bit 'high' in the donor - if you eventually get on preventative meds (or are already on them) or even if you don't - you may not lose this hair for many many years if at all. So, I wouldn't be too concerned. H&W utilize the entire donor zone frequently & take into account donor hair quality & probably look for lack of any miniaturization in those higher-up donor zones and if they are all clear - they take a small % from that area. That's my guesstimate of what your surgeon is thinking.
