  1. Man, I was about a week out from a scheduled surgery with Dr. McGrath but pulled the plug because my gut told me to. Thank goodness I did. That guy should not be allowed to practice.
  2. Lol, it’s been 8 days since his last post. What kind of update are you expecting? I’ve seen your recent posts. You’re coming off as a little neurotic leading up to you’re procedure. Just trust the process. You picked a good surgeon.
  3. Right. That’s what I was getting at. It’s a terrible procedure. Have not seen one satisfactory result. Wish the industry would stop pretending this is a viable method.
  4. It’s not the patient’s physiology that is the problem. It’s the type of surgery selected. A 1400 FU procedure on a guy like this in today’s age is a disgrace. I feel bad for him.
  5. Hmm, that left side looks a little concerning. Have yoi talked to ghe surgeon about it?
  6. In the office two days later? Were you upfront about the procedure or did no one say anything?
  7. Really nice result. It's time to put Dr. Devroye in the same sentence with the likes of H&W and Rahal when it comes to FUT. Dr. Devroye, why does his hair appear to have flakes and scabs 9 months post-FUT 2? Seems pretty far removed to still have that.
  8. Quit nerding out on your research and just do FUT with a top surgeon. You cant go wrong.
  9. That’s an incredibly natural result. This kind of result shows that baldness can now be a choice. Congrats to all.
  10. Can you provide more detail on your four surgeries? i.e. number of grafts per surgery and extraction method (FUT or FUE). Also, if you're comfortable providing, the surgeon(s) as well. Thanks
  11. That hairline job in 2006 was considered a success?? Who was the doctor?
  12. Have you received a response and plan of action/remedy for this from Dr. Hasson? Good luck with everything. Hope it all works out for the best with you.
  13. Really sorry to see this, especially from such a regarded surgeon. I really hope the staff makes right with you and either offers a full refund or a second session at no cost. This result is unacceptable.
  14. My point is that if you're going to show a top-down pre-op to accentuate the baldness then you should also show top-down post-op to show the finished product from its most vulnerable angle. To your point, if the "top" wasn't worked on, why show it in pre-op?
  15. How about a top down post-op? There was no issue showing it pre-op.
  16. Is this a knock on the quality? Looks respectable to me.
  17. I appreciate the enthusiasm man but I don't think it's necessary to post every an update every single day. Month-to-month or even week-to-week will suffice.
  18. Thanks for sharing. Very encouraging as it represents a near worst-case starting point. If he were to elect for further procedures, how many in FUT and how many in FUE do you think he has left?
  19. I will never understand the unshaven hair transplant. It's clearly inferior to shaven. Why not give yourself the best probability for success? If you're worried about concealment from coworkers and unable to own it, you're better to wait.
  20. Yep, I live just a few blocks north of Arocha's office and thankfully, this part of town was spared.
