thanks Melvin, appreciate it. I strongly think given multiple excellent results we are seeing from Eugenix, they at least deserve a decent shot at evaluation for being recommended here. I do not know what moderators think!?, but the results posted here by patients' are the evidence that they are doing exceptionally good work. Anyway, just my 2 cents, I am happy to be back, if anyone needs any questions answered I am happy to help having been through the journey. I am so glad I did, despite all the doubts and rejections, life is back on!!!. Melvin, thanks again. Have a wonderful day.

Hi all, I know many have been asking me via direct messaging about how my hair looks now, here you go an update of my hair. Very happy with Eugenix, specially Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal are not only excellent physicians but also very talented. I am happy that I found them after having been rejected by many physicians....(including by some recommended on HTN).....it takes talent, courage and conviction ones own ability to get a result like this. I leave the rest to your conclusion. From NW7 completely bald head to this has truly been a miracle. Good luck all.

Dang!, that looks great, looking at where you started, the way your first HT with Dr. Radha failed, this is day and night. Happy for you. -
My HT's with Dr. Umar - DermHair Clinic, L.A.
harin replied to AB2000's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
It heals pretty well for most people.I had some taken from side of face by Dr. Pradeep Sethi of Eugenix. It has healed without any scar. Some African Americans have tendency to have Keloid (exuberant scar tissue) so few test extractions might help in determining if that is the case. -

The donor scalp area has recovered well given your second HT, how is the beard area doing? -
What Norwood how many grafts ?? Opinions
harin replied to Benny1984's topic in Open Hair Loss Topics
Ditto!, I agree, from your postings sounds like you need to do more research. It would help if you post donor pictures (back and sides of head), more people will chime in with their invaluable opinions and suggestions. Good luck. -
Norwood 6/7 : DHT with Dr Pradeep Sethi - 5000 Grafts
harin replied to BlackPanther's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Given you had beard hairs transplanted there will be more growth till about a year and change. This will likely thicken by at least 10-20%. I think compared to the result from previous HT this has come out really good. Congratulations to you and Dr. Pradeep. I am glad you chose him, results and the difference is quite obvious. -
I believe you are talking about Dr. Pradeep Sethi?. He has clinic called Eugenix at Gurugram near New Delhi, India. I did my HT with Dr. Pradeep and am a happy customer. As California said do thorough research before jumping, one cannot emphasize it more.

Attention Doctors and Patients - Medical Records
harin replied to Sean's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Please see highlighted above. -
You are in the situation I was in year and half ago. Though your donor appears thicker than mine was. I suggest first try some Finasteride for few months to see if you have any sides. In those 6 months do as much as research you can do and then decide. Many N American docs will either reject you or suggest sparse coverage. There are could who would agree to do your HT but most likely be prohibitively expensive unless you have plenty of extra cash to spare. Your best bet is to eventually find someone who does BHT (Scalp + beard and/or other body hairs like chest, axilla etc..). If planned appropriately a good result may be achievable. Good luck to you.

Hair Transplant (4000 grafts) with Dr Arika and Dr Pradeep
harin replied to jt79's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Nice improvement, crown would need additional grafts. But a big difference compared to where you started. Also it looks pretty natural. -
I say, wait, you still are young, cannot predict how much progression you will have. Stay put for now, using finasteride is NOT a bad suggestion either provided you do not have any side effects.Good luck.

harin replied to Melvin- Admin's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Man it looks great!, so happy for you. One more thing it will continue to thicken for you till about 1-1.5 years. Mine continued to thicken till about year and 3 months or so. It can only look better from here. Great result, congratulations to you and Dr. Diep. Ans WOW, look at the donor side, looks untouched!. -
Losing hope... Help needed... Please...
harin replied to mike09r1's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
I think your situation is workable. Look, many people did tell me how hopeless my situation was, but eventually I decided to go ahead and get combo scalp and BHT done (mainly beard). Eventually if money is not a big issue I would give it a try. At least that is what I felt!, and I am amply satisfied with my transplant. My doc was able to harvest bit more than 3500 from my donor zone. I have been also told I have around 1000-1500 left if I need be which I plan to use to strenghten my crown and overall thickness. As long as your goals are reasonable you can consult some doctors who regularly do BHT (my doc does BHT on regular basis,in fact most of my grafts are beard hairs). My feeling when I heard people comment on my original thread was, if I don't try then I would be regretting this my whole life. I did and am very happy that I did as well as with my results. Good luck to you. Link for my album is in profile pasted below. Hair Restoration Social Network ? Community for and by Hair Loss Patients - harin's Profile I post my original thread here to let you know what responses were like 2 years ago. Read through it. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178561-2000-grafts-enough-norwood-class-6-a.html Good luck to you man, wish you all the best. Finally my HT journey is documented in the thread in my signature. -
jtown, I agree with couple of others here with regards to actual number of grafts. Though you have only two pictures in my opinion about somewhere around 4500-6000 grafts total should give you good result. It would however be good to have some more angles including a look at donor hairs and side face/head profile. Since you have limited funds....With regards to rates you will probably find very good surgeons for lesser price in India. Turkey is definitely an option. (2.5euro a graft!), India is definitely an option with more cost savings compared to most other places - in my opinion. Approximately around 1 euro to1.2 euros. There are several recommended HT surgeons on HTN whom you may send your pictures and have a free e-mail and/or skype consultation. Some of the currently network recommended surgeons in India are Dr. Bhatti(David a forum moderator had his HTwith him), Dr. Radha, Dr. Madhu, etc... I was a high Norwood (6/7) and had my HT in New Delhi at Eugenix under Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal and quite happy with my results. I chose them based on my personal research and review of cases and aesthetics of hairlines plus review and comparison of other surgeons. The best advice I could give you is to NOT to rush your procedure and give some time for research and thorough review of procedures, surgeons, results and also option of flying out of London for overseas procedure. travel and stay wise most clinics will arrange this for you including pick up and drop off to and from airport and also to and from clinic. Some clinics also have in house accommodation for stay and recuperation Of course there are plenty helpful people on this forum to guide you. Good luck to you.

Sun Exposure 2 Months Post Op
harin replied to Goblin82's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
You should be fine. -
David, did u start using Proscar after your first transplant?. What was the reason to use it if I may ask?, thanks.
-
@sutureless, don't get stuck on pricing, look at the results produced by the clinic!, they have done some wonderful job in giving life back to high Norwood cases including myself. Prices often vary in India due to multiple factors including exchange rates. (1 dollar was 69 rupees few months ago and now it is 65.5!), however you can always contact the clinic and negotiate.

Dr. Bloxam is a wonderful doctor and a extremely nice human being, always has appropriate things to say, very knowledgeable and excellent hands with excellent results as demonstrated by numerous posts and cases, the hairlines are very very good and natural. I almost went with Dr. Bloxam for my HT except for the fact that I didn't like FUT scarring and wanted combo BHT. (I didn't discuss possibility of FUE or BHT with the doctor), suffices to say that I have been very impressed with skills, results, integrity and his knowledge. My strongest recommendation for his inclusion amongst recommended HT expert here in.
