  1. can you share how a women's HT is different than a man's HT?. may be a small video, i see very few successful women's HT which is this aesthetically good, thank you.
  2. Fantastic hairline design, this really looks very artistically done. I am sure the patient is thrilled. I assume this was non-shaven DHT?. Ans donor hairs had to be picked for harvesting to carefully use singles for hairline?. Either way, wonderful result, great job, well done.
  3. it is one thing to take on random walk in patients' for HT...but it take another level of confidence in one's work to take on celebrities' like the above 2 patients'. Once again a home run result, great Job Drs. Arika and Pradeep.
  4. Come on guys!, clearly it was meant to be a funny little clip. Nice analysis Melvin, thanks for the humor.
  5. I think by commenting again, this thread was reactivated by you all. Either way, it is given that even the best HT surgeons will have some bad outcomes, they are also humans, please show me a HT surgeon/Proceduralist with 100% success?, it is impossible. Yes, clinics with good reputation would reach out and help those patients who have had bad results. I hope that the forum is used to seek such guidance and neither used to bring down those recommended doctors who may have occasional bad results, not used to bully or CHIDE patients with bad outcomes from expressing their genuine concerns or opinions.
  6. Home run, you look 20 years younger than before, this will get a bit thicker over next few months, congratulations on such a wonderful result. You look different compared to pre-op pictures?
  7. Great question, no doubt both of them come highly recommended on the forum, I am the first one to admit that my opinion is bit biased, but also based on thorough research of at least 2 years. I went with Dr Arika and Dr. Pradeep. I sent my pictures to many clinics including many recommended on this for and most of them rejected me outright given my advanced alopecia. Not reading between lines, but I was even told by one of the doctor's recommended here that I would not be happy if I get a HT!, it was also suggested to me by one in Texas (name withheld due to professional courtesy) that I start looking at hair weaving or some other toupe. There were very few surgeons who were confident enough to take up my case, out of which I zeroed down to 3-4 of them, 1 from California who does a lot of BHT and two from India (one of them was Dr. Pradeep, other one is recommended here but not from Chandigarh). As I have mentioned in my initial post, I had to deal with some bad attitude from California doctor and was unimpressed by hairline design of some others, I eventually contacted quite a few patients of all of these clinics and jumped in to get mt HT with Eugenix. I was treated very well and all of hair designing, hairline and 100% of punches/slits were done by doctors, some by Dr. Pradeep and some by Dr. Arika. Doctors also did lots of extraction.Implantation is the easy part and was done by technicians, directly under the supervision of doctors. Doctors are directly and passionately involved at all critical junctures of your HT. Most important aspect being hairline design and punches which requires laser precision, all done by Drs. Arika or Pradeep. I want to say that I am happy and very happy after my HT, I am glad I did my own research, and did not listen to disappointing opinions of some learned doctors!!!. (myself being a physician, I knew the risk I was taking with my advanced alopecia by jumping into the HT). Again as I said I did my HT at Eugenix, and I am very, very happy with the LIFE-CHANGING results and I am very truly blessed to have found the right HT surgeon at the right time. Though, I would still say do your thorough research and you will find the answer, search this forum for all the HT results of doctors you are doing search on. You will find the answer, at the end you have to be comfortable with the decision you made. For HT is for lifetime!.
  8. Melvin, thank you. Your post epitomizes why this forum is so valuable, because of such unbiased, balanced opinions and suggestions and education, by users and more importantly moderators like Melvin. Love You have a new notification Melvin-Moderator reacted to a post in a topic Opinion needed on transplant result for Norwood 5 being part of this forum. It lead me to my HT doctor. Even when at that time they weren't recommended on this forum, I knew they would eventually be recommended here, which they are now. Thus, go for quality, even if its a bit pricier. Good luck.
  9. I think first of all expectations should be realistic, I think given your donor area I personally feel that substantial density could be achieved, combining BHT would probably save you some scalp donor hairs for future touch ups if need be. You can check out my thread including my latest pictures. Only thing I would suggest would be to do your research, particularly look at hairlines and spacing between grafts etc.. and quality of work by surgeons/proceduralists before you jump in. Being a picky physician myself it took me 2 years to find the right HT doctor and I am happy I found them and happy with what they did for my scalp looking at where I started out. I think this patient has similar hairloss like you. You couls always send your pictures to various clinics and most should be able to do a free evaluation for you. https://www.eugenix.in/patient-shv-detail.html Check out the above link. Whatever you choose, I am happy to help and you can send me a PM, but good luck with your decision, if you are looking for quality opinions on HT, you have come to right place. Best of luck. Below 4 are my pictures, full Blown Norwood 7 after approximately 9000 hairs (scalp and beard), last picture is after 3 years. My surgeons Dr. Arika Bansal and Dr. Pradeep Sethi are now recommended on this forum. https://www.eugenix.in/patient-shv-detail.html
  10. I myself had more than 5,000 beard grafts planted on my scalp, and I still have few thousand more grafts to spare. Remember full head of hair has around 100,000 hairs, and 11,000 grafts = 10-11% of those total number of grafts, and to achieve this result and such thickness in an advanced Norwood grade alopecia case with such exceptionally great cosmetic outcome is only possible in few hands, and hands down Dr. Sethi and Dr. Bansal are incredibly talented doctors who take on such high Norwood cases and come out with such amazing results. Great case!, congratulations again.
  11. Congratulations to Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal. You guys very much deserve this recommendation. I am glad finally after documenting so many exceptional cases on this forum as well on your website (eugenix.in) you have earned this well deserved recommendation. My sincere thanks to @Bill - Managing Publisher, and a very, very, very special thanks to my brother @Melvin-Moderator, for helping achieve this by professional review and thorough vetting procedure of your exceptional work. @Melvin-Moderator was the first to recognize the high quality work being done by both of you, specially exceptional cases of body hair transplant - BHT (beard, Chest, armpit etc) cases by @Dr. Sethi & Dr. Bansaland helped raise awareness on this forum. So for his enthusiasm and professionalism I am very grateful. I feel that from my side I have informed the world out there of my HT surgeons and their exceptional work and now having played my own part in helping them get this recommendation after thorough vetting indeed makes me exceptionally happy. In my view both Drs. Bansal and Sethi are not only exceptional surgeons but also very spiritual minded doctors who go out of their way to help their patients'. This will bode exceptionally well for the clinic and the doctors in the long run, may you continue your exceptional success as always and reach new heights. Good luck and congratulations again......................
  12. Absolutely, I am biased because I got my HT done by Eugenix, its a big yes from me as well. They deserve this recommendation. Melvin, Hair Greed''... ? (just kidding).
  13. I think you have asked some great questions, I suggest that you visit Dr. Sethi's website (google Eugenix india, Pradeep Sethi), since I am not sure if I am allowed to post link to their website, and browse through hundred of their examples showing real results, besides the clinic can also arrange for you to meet any of these patients if you travel to India. You can also check out their videos too, which shows real results. Dr. Sethi has also transplanted number of Indian celebrities with exceptionally great results. Real life ''untouched'' examples could be found on their website. I wish you the best.
  14. Look at my post on the link below, this is the exact reason why DHT (Direct Hair Transplant) gives excellent results.
  15. 1. It is always good to have healthy dose of skepticism. But it is evident that DHT from what I have experienced and seen, results in much higher percentage of grafts to take in than traditional FUE. (least out of the body time for grafts) 2. It is clearly written that patient was also prescribed Minoxidil and Finasteride to strengthen existing hairs and prevent further hair loss. Which as anyone with experience would know leads to improvements in crown, and reduces further hair loss!,...though in most cases Dr. Sethi's patients' whom I have seen..... would not be on any meds. This including me as well. Exceptional results.
  16. Hey bro, thanks for the compliments, as far as crown is concerned there has been no change since I last updated, basically I would need another small HT to enhance crown density.
  17. Here is the link to Dr. Arika Bansal and Dr. Pradeep Sethi's Direct Hair Transplant (DHT) paper. First published and adopted by Dr. Arika Bansal and Dr. Pradeep Sethi as the article surmises, the technique leads to greater number of graft survival and ''LEAST'' cold ischemic time (out of the body time) for extracted grafts, because, the recipient site/holes are already made. Dr. Sethi and Dr. Bansal in my experience are only two in the South Asia and probably only one amogst the handful using this pioneering technique. in DHT or (Radically Modified FUE) the recipient punches are artistically created first after estimating the number of grafts required to cover the bald scalp area. This not only gives more time for the surgeon to create artistic hairline (because the grafts to be transplanted are harvested after these punch holes are made!, so surgeon is not in a hurry to create punches before the grafts lying around and already harvested dries out!!!), but also provides for harvested grafts to be almost immediately transplanted into the awaiting recipient punch holes!, brilliant ides first pioneered by Drs. Bansal and Sethi. See the PUBMED link below. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3764754/
  18. Nice, well done, very artistic hairline and density. Which is exactly why I went with your expertise for my HT. Thanks for posting this.
  19. Hope things are good with you BlackPanther?. Do drop in every now and then. Again great results by Dr. Pradeep Sethi, he is a magician.
  20. Definitely not, will continue to contribute. Just thought that I shall update since its been 3 years!!!. I will have ore time after the Christmas season, as you know we physicians stay busy during colder months.
  21. Such wonderful results!, so happy for you, you deserve every bit of it and more. Thanks again for all the support during this journey. God bless.
  22. I did not realize this is HTSoon!!!, your hair looks amazing, congrats to you and Dr. Diep, great results, nice to catch up with you bro!!!....i am glad you are now the moderator, you have truly helped so many people. So nice to hear from you brother. Good luck with evrything.
