    Nice improvement, one suggestion though with regards to the way pictures are taken. if the patient asked for hiding her identity just covering her eyes WOULD NOT work. The rectangle mask should cover at least her eyes and nose. Overall very nice improvement. Also what has been your experience with female hair loss using medications like Finasteride?, what dose do you generally recommend?, what kind of side effects have you heard your patients' complain.

    Would help if you post crown and back ofthe head pictures and also bread bit grown out. There are plenty of HT doctors doing BHT now.Also how old are you?, been on any meds?

    The thickness frontally has seen see saw days. But overall is the same when it was at 6 months. I am now on finasteride 1 mg daily to thicken the crown which is okayish with some improvement from 6 months time. Overall I am happy. If I really need more thickness then I could com sider going in for second transplant. But for now I shall wait for another year or so. Still plenty of beard hairs that can be used. Transplanted beard hairs are very resoute and growing well.

    Excellent results given the low graft count transplanted.

    I do not think few seconds of applying a shampoo with Ketoconazole would reduce DHT in your scalp,I doubt the claims made on this front.

    I just looked at these pictures. Yes you are Norwood 7. Seems like the finer hairs on the scalp are growth induced by Minoxidil. The donor area does not appear strong in my opinion, I do not know how thick your beard area is?. Though HT would be risky if you really want to go for it then you need to be ready for BHT and SMP combo. (beard, chest, armpit etc..), you would likely need significant number of grafts unless you plan to go for sparse coverage with buzz cut look as suggested. Aesthetically pleasing result could be obtained provided there is realistic expectations (mature looking or sparse coverage) from your side and your doctor works with a careful plan on his hand.

    I started around 7 months post HT Slutsay, mainly to improve the crown and prevent and DHT sensitive hair shedding, but I have to say it has also helped thicken the mid scalp somewhat as well. No adverse effects thus far.

    Having been in multiple Indian weddings, I suggest you get HT immediately after the wedding, you don't want your precious grafts be damaged during any part of wedding revelry.

    Exactly my thoughts, I felt guilty for a while even after my HT, sometimes even felt as if i was cheating on the nature!!!, thankful for my wonderful wife and my family who made me feel at ease, they have been very, very supportful and encouraging. It is natural to feel that way, eventually you will be glad you took the plunge, it took me few weeks to get rid of that feeling, but finally I am glad I went for it. Good luck, you have chosen excellent doctors in New Delhi/NCR region.

    This is a very nice transformation, given that the hairline was pluggy, looks very natural, nice job, congratulations to the patient and Dr. Bloxam.

    You are still few months away from real growth, as Dolph1969 said ''PLEASE STOP SMOKING'' its really bad for skin,hair and your health overall, also delays healing. The work by Dr. Bhatti looks exceptionally good, hoping and praying for your excellent results.

    I could attest to the fact that in my particular case, at this time there is very little visually discriminating features between scalp and beard hairs, if I grow it out more than couple of inches then it becomes a bit kinky, but nearly not as kinky as it would even 6 months ago!, interesting but i will take it any day.

    I have a differing opinion!, masturbation itself does not cause hair loss, there have been studies showing correlation of testosterone levels and masturbation. So if your follicles are DHT sensitive along with elevated testosterone levels (which in turn leads to elevated DHT baed on your 5-alpha reductase enzyme)then it will likely lead to hair loss. Haven't seen any trials on pubmed on this though.

    Great video Drs. Bloxam and Feller, I am glad you guys are addressing psychological aspect of HT, I can relate to lots of emotions I was going through before and immediately I had my HT. Kudos for bringing them to fore.

    I think this is looking good!, I think overall you have had better results this time around and I am happy for you. The sides where they harvested hairs would take some time to look normal, for me it took nearly 8-10 months, but it will, believe me. Adding some low dose Finasteride will definitely help strengthen mid scalp and crown in my experience since U have had less hairs transplanted there. It took full 1 years and change for beard hairs to fully grow in the crown area and also for them to loose some kinkyness. So give it some more time than usual.

    Yes I am on 1m/day finasteride, no it has had absolutely no affect on my beard hairs. Though I have noticed that over a period of 1 year 4 months the beard hairs have softened in texture and I do not seem to feel significant differences in texture between beard and scalp hairs. Though I have noticed that if SOME beard hairs are grown out beyond 2 inches they become little curly. This is the issue with some hairs only, but majority of them behave...

    Hi HTSoon, thanks bro. No issues with beard area. As you kentioned I think I have hair greed now. But for now staying put. May be in 2018 I can consider 2nd procedure. Also taking finasteride 1 mg daily now. Have seen SOME improvement in crown with it. Been too busy need to look up your thread. Looking at pictures I am very very happy for you. Thanks again for kind words. Yes Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal have changed my appearance completely. I appreciate them.
