  1. True,if hair loss is bothering you ,then the best thing is to address it,thankfully when I was about to back off from the HT , I realized that I was doing nothing but trying to address a problem which I have
  2. Hey Rochers!, Sorry for the late reply ,I was trying to be off the forum since my HT was done ,so that I dont obsess about my progress as I understand that the initial months would be really slow.Thankfully ,I got over my guilt before the HT ,since then I have ben trying to focus my mind on anything except hair ( which is really tough). BTW how is your HT progressing, the work looks really neat , I hope you get a great result!
  3. Hello Dr. Feller, This video aptly describes what I was going through just before the HT,what was troubling me was that I am usually not a person who spends on the supposedly superficial things in life, you hit the nail on its head with -"managing hair loss is not vanity but its protecting your own identity".These are such reassuring words to hear , i hope this video is seen by many others who go through similar turmoil before going for a HT
  4. Hey pkipling! So, following the advice of yours and other forum members I went ahead with the HT,the guilt subsided once the surgery was done ,as I was more worried about the post operative period ( precautions, head wash, getting the scabs removed ). Now, it has been about six weeks just trying to be patient ( which is the tougher part ) and hoping things turn out well for me. Thanks you again for your kind words
  5. Thank you so much ,your words are reassuring,You are right in pointing out that this has to do a lot with ones upbringing as well, I just get this feeling that some of my friends and relatives who may not have money to splurge on such things in life will view this negatively. But right now I am trying to block off all the negative thoughts. I am getting surgery done by Dr Pradeep sethi/Arika Bansal in Delhi, will share pre and post ops pics soon.Thank you again for the kind words.
  6. So I have finally taken the decision to undergo HT surgery, quite nervous and excited but also feeling guilty that I am going to spend so much on something which is considered vanity (I earn enough to afford it ),is this normal?how have other members felt before taking the plunge?
  7. This looks good, after seeing some of the results here planning a HT with Eugenix,I am norwood 6 progressing towards norwood 7 ,have been advised a HT of ~6k grafts ( scalp+beard),will be visiting them soon to get more details.Couple of questions have 1) Is the beard hair difficult to manage and grows in unwanted direction? 2) Also compared to Scalp ,does it enter the growth phase faster ( scalp hair typically enters growth phase 4-5 months post transplant)
  8. Harin, This looks impressive, as a fellow Norwood VI/VII member, this result has given hope to members like me, I am also contemplating a HT with Eugenix, have some specific questions regarding BHT,would you mind in case if I PM those queries dont wish to change the discourse of this thread, let me know if that's ok with you
