  1. 5.5 months is still early, with plenty of time to grow. Have you contacted the clinic?
  2. The thing is the lighting is very dark, so it’s really hard to judge. I think your donor looks average. The good thing you got going for you is your age.
  3. I would say one month is more than enough time to trim and brush the recipient.
  4. Unless you’re a Norwood 6/7 with no hair on your head. Absolutely you should be on medication first. I would recommend being on meds at least 6 months before considering surgery.
  5. Donor looks okay, hard to say with that length and the salt and pepper disguises density. The good news is that you’re 60, so the stability of your donor probably better off than most members here at 30.
  6. There are a lot of doctors that deliver on high density. There have been some great names already mentioned. Two cases with excellent density posted as well. I would also consider this case high density, rare occasions where it’s true density.
  7. Can you post a picture exposing your hairline? It’s hard to say with these pictures.
  8. If their results look equal, then look at cost and convenience. Which surgeon is more budget-friendly and closer?
  9. I think any gains you get the year on would be lost the year off. Id much rather cycle the dosing. Maybe daily, to every other day, to 3x per week.
  10. Have you asked each clinic to give you some examples of similar hair loss levels?
  11. Growth is definitely starting! Awesome man
  12. The moderators of Reddit have also asked for community input for those of you who frequent Reddit. Feel free to pm @Wallaby_Upstairs and post comments here
  13. This length suits you mate, this looks amazing. I can’t believe how far you’ve come. I’m genuinely ecstatic for you, you deserve it.
  14. Hey guys, I understand you have some concerns. I’m sending you two pms to get your name and date of surgery. I will reach out to the clinic for their response.
  15. I never took oral dut. Oral fin was bad enough. I got all of the sides after a month of using it. I think topical dut is the best option for those of us who can't tolerate oral fin.
  16. When you get the Topical dut you should document your journey. I feel a difference at one month, using it 3x per week. I have had zero sides. Very happy to have led in the pencil. Getting your labs checked is important. I got mine checked before I started any of the topicals. I'm going to get them rechecked next month. Let's see if my serum DHT has changed at all. I don't feel a difference physically, but we shall see.
  17. Armen, you're killing the salt and pepper look. It looks awesome so happy for you man. I thought your hair looked good last year when we met, but it's a lot better now.
  18. I would give the drugs around 6 months before getting surgery. You might have considerable crown regrowth, which means less grafts and money. Check out this guy’s journey, he’s only been using it 5 months, and he’s on finasteride not dutasteride. My speculation is that dut will be much better.
