  1. Have you planned on having a second session or touch-up? How many hours did the surgery take to complete? Thanks for sharing.
  2. Most of the opinion of the 'facial plastic surgeon' is based on his or her experience and patient base. There can be an elite group and team, however, the patient's preferences and surgeon's preferences must share similar qualities on outcomes.
  3. Your hair characteristics allow for more coverage value per graft. Regardless of what you previously underwent, your donor resources should be assessed by an FUE expert with reconstructive surgery experience, because subsequent linear scarring will widen over a period of two years. Attempting to lower the hairline should involve some precautionary measures. Areas in the donor can become too sparse and can shift the attention from the top (recipient) to the back (donor area). Research patient characteristics and measure the results most similar to what you are expecting. Your goals should be unique, and your expectations must be realistic as well. In your consultative process since the scalp reduction, did you get any feedback on the size of the donor area and donor area density as well? Remember, the density is lowered after every surgical procedure and donor resources are finite as hair loss typically progresses to some extent. Thanks for sharing.
  4. Can you post the immediate post-op donor photos? I am wondering if the donor area was examined and methodically harvested to prevent any single area from being too sparse. You should also contact your clinic for feedback. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Have you tried discontinuing use of the styling gel for a number of days or weeks? Have you ever noticed any flaking or bleeding? You could try aloe vera styling gel as an alternative to your current styling gel.
  6. True... One location should not be the single factor for obtaining a quality procedure, and pricing alone should not dictate the standard of quality either. With certainty, research with diligence if you want the best results based on your unique goals and preferences. You may learn very important details by searching for FUE results most similar to your predicament. All the best
  7. Hi, Are you referring to profile images, custom avatar images, photo images viewable in threads with or without clicking, or are you referring to photo gallery images?
  8. There are too many types of cases and patients with distinguished goals that exist. I'd like to mention that versatility is probably the biggest determinant in voting who's artistry is superior. Some of the docs use the absolute latest cutting-edge technology as well. What's your criteria and predicament?
  9. Valt, has your doctor advised on methods to treat the hypopigmentation and appearance of donor depletion? Also, have you attempted to grow the hair in the recipient? Lastly, have you proceeded to pursue your original goal(s) with solutions other than the consideration of SMP? Thanks for sharing.
  10. Glad to hear your great testimony. Congratulations on the improvement. Thanks for sharing your personal experience.
  11. Send a few clear, well-lit photos to a couple other reputable clinics for additional recommendations. You can attempt to stabilize the loss by taking platelet-rich plasma treatment, HelpHair protein, multivitamins, and maintaining a healthy balanced diet. The way to get more with a hair transplant is to improve the caliber of the hair that currently exists on top. Secondly, you must realize that surgery is an option if you understand donor management. The surgery is possible, but you must consult with a surgeon who can provide results with all of your available donor resources. Your hair loss will also progress to some point in the future so you must manage expectations and develop realistic goals too. The hair restoration process is long, but you can have a transplant to improve your appearance. You must begin researching all techniques and proven methods to focus your effort and maximize every resource. All the best
  12. If you find two clinics with consistent results, let it be known.
  13. At this point, time is on your side, especially since you have the economic resources and donor availability. Over the next few months, you can choose to put in a conservative amount of grafts with the benefit of minimizing shock by starting finasteride and strengthening the caliber of hair in your crown. all the best
  14. Good improvement. What density was achieved to create the coverage on the hairline?
  15. Hair loss is always progressive in nature. This young patient is showing a subtle change in appearance after seven months. There will be much more obvious augmentation visible on the front after 12 months and the matured result is apparent. Expect more subtle change to be noticeable when the hair length increases and the restored temple peaks are more visible with the definition. Some patients can't improve their facial symmetry with 1500 grafts after 7 months. Keep in mind, the follow-up photos were personally provided by email from the patient. The I'm curious about the final update:cool: Donor healing - shaved at 7 months after 1500 FUE The donor area remains plentiful and pristine.
  16. Even though synthetic fiber has advanced and can be used, the procedure of implanting them is still not a good idea for hair replacement. The material itself may be 'approved' but it doesn't offer the benefits of a natural-looking appearance, and maintenance is cost-inhibitive too. Like hair pieces on the hairline or the crown area, the disadvantages and limitations are great while the advantages are few.
  17. At 19 years of age, adapt a different hair style or overcome self-conscientiousness by having a hairline specialist develop a long-term treatment plan that consists of alternate treatments to delay surgery. Males and females have differences on what is acceptable in terms of appropriate hairline location and design.
  18. Any increased or decreased pain after grooming or after bathing?
  19. Keep the density low and the hair is less likely to be shocked from surgery trauma. At your age, you should still maintain a conservative approach as you address this region. Hair in your crown is growing in every direction, and you should realize that the crown consumes more grafts than you may realize.
  20. Make sure you know some background info on your doctor's medical assistants. They make a huge impact on the procedure. The clinic should be able to tell you some details about how they can make the surgery as painless as possible.
  21. Hi. You may benefit by posting a photo of the donor. Your clinic should advise you about solutions and give you input. Is the recipient area irritated at all?
  22. Hi, HJB1990. Sure thing, customer.care@mywhtc.com is the email address to send your inquiry. Thanks for reaching out to me.
  23. The donor region has a good supply of hair. A scalp analysis and density check would put your concern at ease. Did you have any in-person consultations yet?
  24. Hi. Any idea of what the measure of density is in the recipient area?
  25. I suppose that many men have been told that hair loss is normal or not treatable. Demographic and economic factors have major influences in the overall statistics.
