  1. I experienced very extensive shock loss from an FUT. Some did grow back but not all
  2. Combination of everything. Hair illusion, Eyeliner, eyeliner pencil, dermatch, toppik, hats, saran wrap with hats, du rags.
  3. I'm sorry, I just dont understand your logic. I don't know how disclosing the surgeon would take away from your result in any way. Clearly, people are curious and your information could help them make a decision. But to each their own, i just dont understand it. Yes I have had a HT, I plan to post the results soon.
  4. See, I made a thread on this. I have no idea why people are afraid to disclose their surgeon... Anywhos, growth looks good.
  5. The title says it all. I have come across a lot of threads have concerns about weather the result will be good or not. Or if they took a particular issue with the doc or something they did. They will say things like I don't want to give the name until i speak with the doc or something to that extent. One thread I remember even said they thought they may get in trouble for mentioning a doctor's name. If you have proof and documentation of whatever qualms or issues you have then why don't people like to mention the doctor's name? I've just never been able to understand this.
  6. WOW. that is actually quite impressive. It's actually growing in the right direction and angle for AA. I had no idea he could do AA FUE. Well, may have to schedule a consultation but heard he is quite expensive, anyone know the rates these days??
  7. Looking good from what I can tell. Can you tell what direction and angle your hairs were implanted. I believe the degrees of which African American hair grows and other races are different. It would be interesting to see if your doc took that into consideration. But keep us updated! Can't wait to see the final result.
  8. Hey man, I wouldnt panic too much. I had much worse shock loss in the back. If you looked in the dictionary for the definition of "ugly duckling stage" I would have definitely won. it was incredibly bad, i think it got its worse after 1 month. but I am at 5.5 months post op now and i can tell you with certainty it is growing back. Lucky you though, you have long hair. I wear my hair short and it was incredibly incredibly difficult to hide. I think i started noticing improvements around month 3.5 to 4. Happy growing!
  9. Hey man. Everything looks good and according to plan. Please continue to post and keep us updated. Plenty of people are looking even if they dont respond
  10. You are glad you did it, but are you satisfied with the crown results? Seeing as you still have to use concealer?
  11. Bro.. that post was 7 years ago. I'm sure he recovered
  12. I don't right now. But I plan to when im ready because I have a hell of a story to tell. I am almost 2 months post op with Dr. Cooley. It was my 3rd HT. But if you have any questions ill be happy to answer.
  13. Ha, guess the mystery still remains. Yeah, he definitely cares, i think it was like 15 hrs for me. Looking good, keep us updated.
