  1. spex, when does the kinkiness start to subside (on average)? I'm almost 6 months post-op and I notice the right side is still kinky.
  2. Billy, everything looks good so far. Those 2 months flew by...can't wait to see your final result. Happy growing!
  3. I took Procerin for a year and a half, which is very similar to Provillus. For me, it didn't do much of anything but drain my wallet. But that's not to say it won't help you.
  4. I'm experiencing a shed right now and it's a horrible feeling. I read SPEX's thread on Seasonal Shedding and it's a very informative post. I just showered and allowed my hair to air dry. Once it was dry, I combed my hair and when I looked down in the sink, I counted 21 hairs in the sink (an all time high for me). I'm currently 5 months & 3 weeks post-op. Proscar has definitely helped, I don't shed nearly as much as I use to but it just seems like I lose most of my hair after I'm done showering. Does this happen to anyone else?
  5. This is a very nice result Joe. This patient received an age appropriate hairline and the scar is almost non existent. Kudos to Dr. Hasson and his entire team
  6. I agree...I only told my parents, brother, and my girlfriend. It depends on the type of people you hang around to; If you have friends who will ridicule you for having it done, it might not be worth telling them. For me it boiled down to who I can trust to keep this a secret and who is non judgmental. Everyone is different though...If you don't mind everyone knowing, then I say go for it. Best of luck
  7. I agree with Phil. The length of "down time" varies from patient to patient. I went to a funeral 7 weeks after my operation and nobody could really tell what happened. I applied dermmatch to the donor scar and the recipient region was a slightly pink but nothing too noticeable. The main thing to do now is to stay away from a mirror and stay busy to keep your mind occupied.
  8. Everything is looking great for being only 7.5 months out. I look forward to seeing his final result. Kudos to Dr. Hasson and his entire team.
  9. EV, I think your hair is looking great so far. You still have 6+ months of more growth and thickening. I'm not too thrilled with the right side of my hairline either but only time will tell if our right sides will fill in or not (I'm 4 months and 3 weeks post-op). I wish you luck in the upcoming months and keep the updates coming.
  10. Have you tried applying toppik or dermmatch to help mask the scar? That's what I did during months 2 & 3 and it made a world of difference. It might not work for everybody but just wanted to make that suggestion.
  11. Great post Lorenzo. I would agree that your hair loss really wasn't that bad to begin with but everybody's view on hair loss differs. In regards to the photos you posted, everything looks great! You're on track for an excellent result.
  12. Everything is looking really good for only 3 months. You're going to have an excellent result, you have should have no worries.
  13. Thanks for the kind words M&M. I'll make sure I'll zoom in a little more for my 5 month post op pics.
  14. This is a really good result Dr. Cooley. This patient has very nice coverage and looks very natural. Kudos to you and your team.
  15. thanks for the post man!

  16. Emperor...you don't have to answer this if you don't want to but I was wondering if H&W charged you for the second procedure you received? Any discount? I know you were not too thrilled with the yield of the first procedure, but after viewing your hair loss website, I think you'll be very pleased with the outcome of this procedure. Best of luck
  17. This is a very natural looking result. This patient must be thrilled with this outcome.
  18. I agree with Sparky...I've lied to numerous people and I think it's acceptable in this situation. You should be fine 14 days out, most of the redness will subside by then.
  19. Thanks for the kind words BillyJ. I'm looking forward to tracking your progress; your result will look great! Keep us posted.
  20. Bill, I just checked out your profile and the work Dr. Wong performed on you looks to be top notch. The 3,000+ grafts you received should provide you with pretty good coverage but I wouldn't expect it to be extremely dense due to the large area that needed to be covered. I'm going to copy and past the link to you hair loss website below so it makes it easier for the community to access. Good luck and happy growing! 21. Everything is looking great Megatron. The acne has cleared up considerably! You have a lot of growth for being only 3 months past surgery. I look forward to seeing your 4 month updates as well.
