  1. Yea I agree, the pics need to be better quality than that. I love the work Dr. Rahal does...I would definitely go with him no doubt. Post better pics and you'll probably get more feedback from the community
  2. Hairlosscured, What you said couldn't have been any more true. The Emperor brought up some good points but for Phil's sake, I hope he's wrong. Phil and I spent about roughly the same amount of money on our surgeries, his was a little more but a "second pass" would be totally unacceptable if that were me. I know for me, I sacrificed SO much to get this surgery done, I've lied to close friends, I've changed jobs temporarily, $$$, and the social life to a big hit. But in all honesty, that would be very hard for me to do all over again. On a positive note, I think you'll see the most growth in the 8-10 month range.
  3. Sorry Bill....you can keep everything the same but change the "3" to "4". Thank you! Garageland...yea you're absolutely right. It's just that I sacrificed a lot to get this surgery done and I guess sometimes I over analyze things. Your hair looks awesome, I just checked out your new pics. The 600 grafts Dr. Hasson transplanted should make a significant difference. Phil & Megatron , I'll definitely post better pics this weekend. I'll part my hair so you guys can see the transplanted hair.
  4. I just updated my hair loss website. I'm 4 months and 1 week out from surgery with Dr. Hasson. Let me know what you guys think. Bill, can you change the title of my thread as well? Thank you! http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/journal.asp?CopyID=5541&WebID=1560
  5. In regards to the shock loss, yes this is normal. Some people experience it, others don't. Unfortunately I was one of the unlucky ones. It's suppose to all grow back, but if it was weak to begin with, it more than likely won't return. Most of my shock loss was in the frontal forelock, everyone is different. Do you have any pictures of these "skin patches"? Maybe if we see them, the community will be able to better answer your question.
  6. Congrats JJ, You're going to have an excellent result! http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1560
  7. Lookin good Paul. I've read that a lot of patients see the most change from months 8-10. So far so good. http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1560
  8. HMO, I think your hair is looking pretty good. I agree that you should let your hair grow out a little bit. I've noticed that my right temple is lagging behind my left temple in regards to hair growth. I'll post pics at the end of this week. The wait is really hard huh?
  9. Phil, I feel the same way about my hair...I thought I'd be further along than what I am. I'm going to post pictures by the end of this week. I feel as though my right temple is lagging behind when compared to my left temple. Stay positive bro
  10. That's perfectly normal haircare. My transplanted hair shed first on the right side of my hairline as well; the only difference is that mine shed around the 3 week mark.
  11. Mane, I remember contacting you last year right around this time, asking you about Dr. Rahal. Wow, time flys. Your result looks awesome and you probably look 10 years younger than before. Congratulations, enjoy your new hair!
  12. haha we'll see, I'll think about changing my profile pic. I'm updating my blog next week with 4 months post-op pics! Time flys

  20. Sparky, I'm not doubting your knowledge about this but I was wondering if anybody else can back this statment up? I had no clue that glass blocks UV light. I'm just a little concerned bc I have a 4 hour car ride next week.
  21. I wore a bandana as well...I didn't feel comfortable wearing a hat. The only problem with wearing a bandana is people have a tendancy to look/sterotype you for wearing one. It wasn't a problem; I didn't have to remove it once and I even traveled internationally.
  22. I had trouble sleeping for the first 2-3 weeks as well. What helped me was Melatonin...it's an all natural supplement that you can buy at any pharmacy. I took Aleve as well to relieve some of the pain I experienced in the donor region.
  23. No I haven't but I posted a question about shock loss about a month ago. I asked the following question...on average, when does shock loss normally stop? Some posters said two months, others said 3 months. I think I'm experiencing seasonal shedding. Hopefully it stops My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Hasson
  24. This is a very nice result...his frontal zone looks much thicker than before. My Hair Loss Website - HT with Dr. Hasson
