  1. Someone once said that: "the list of good looking bald men starts and ends with Sean Connery". But in all seriousness, it depends on your facial structure and head shape, and your age to a certain degree. Less hair can look distinguished on an older man. People like Statham and Freddie Lundberg can get away with it it, based off their looks in general.
  2. Cooper does something, but the jury is out on what exactly. It could be partial system, fin, small HT and fibers, or a combination of these.
  3. Depp's never had a HT. Plenty of pictures are out there to show a consistent hairline. Here are some with shaved back and sides: The same goes for Tom Hardy:
  4. 0.25mg per day is good https://www.regrowhair.com/an-example-of-excellent-hair-regrowth-from-propecia-finasteride/
  5. You have won most of the battle with that shortlist. Congratulations. As for the differences: Konior, Hasson and Wong tend to have a 'straighter' hairline design; and by that I mean with less macro irregularity. hairlines are still curved but not zigzagged. H&W occasionally do more 'V' shaped hairlines, but not always. Shaprios are more macro (zigzag) and tend to be the least agressive of all the doctors named. Gabel is somewhere inbetween but probably nearer Konior/H&W end of the scale. Hairline position: H&W the most aggressive, Shapiro the least. The others somewhere inbetween. Not sure why Paul Shapiro is no longer listed. Maybe he slowed down surgeries and it's just a business decision not to be part of the network. I'm sure they get more than enough referals by word of mouth. I don't think H&W do much of the implantation. Maybe a few 100 here and there and leave the rest to techs. I'm pretty sure Ron always does a few hundred grafts, then techs take over. I think the same with Gabel, though he may do a greater proportion, perhaps up to 50%. Konior, technically doesn't insert the grafts, though he does adjust them (quality control). His lead tech does most of the intiial placement, but he does oversee 100% implantation as it is usually stick and place. I think all the other docs normally usually use pre-made openings, so don't have to be there 100% of the time. As far as experience, all have 25-30+ years, except possibly Gabel (20 years?) and Josephitis (my guess: 12 to 15). Konior and Gabel dual Board Certified (Head/neck and HT). Most of the others Board Certified in HT.
  6. And your's son. I think you need 3+ HTs to get there as nothing is perfect 1st time.
  7. Glad I had mine done and the doc was very meticulous about them: Low caliber hairs Density match to surrounding area. (about 150 singles either side) Flat as possible to the skin. Follows the natural flow of existing hairs. No pitting etc Worst case I could trim them down if there ever became an issue, or just fill in the space behind. Similar to Aftermath, they are not 100% flat. So long as they are trimmed fairly short it's not a problem.
  8. The one you're missing is Dr Lorenzo. I don't think 5G will be enough except for maybe the first two. Dr Demirsoy in Turkey is an option. He seems to be one of the more ethical ones and at a fairly low price. But don't just go to him off the back of that. You need to like his results and believe in his abilities. Other than that, keep saving for a Dr you really want.
  9. It looks ok to me and no need to panic at this stage. The extractions look like he had no problems obtaining the grafts: nicely spread out and small punch. One side appears to be lagging. I had that around months 5-6. All you can do is wait until 12-15 months. Saying you only have 4 months to go is false.
  10. It felt tight for about 10 days but then a lot seemed to dissipate. Then it felt slightly tight/odd for about a year. After that, it just feels normal, as if nothing was done.
  11. It's more of front forelock rather than a widows peak. A widows peak example is Chris Hemsworth or Colin farrell. But go with whatever floats your boat.
  12. The middle needs bringing forward a bit I think. Excuse the crudity of the pic on the right. I only have Windows Paint to work with, but you get the idea.
  13. I think from memory you're in the UK? The course provider I went with closed down because it was affiliated with a small independent chain of gyms in central London which got taken over and turned into a budget gym. It was very convenient though as the whole course was on weekends and over a period of about 4 months. The examining body was YMCA Fit. There are a few others that are recognised as legit in the UK. I think another is 'Premier Fit' or something. the course cost about £2k I think.
  14. 8-12 reps is often quoted as good range for hypertropy (muscle size), and anything lower for strength gains. Higher reps for endurance. There's also a lot of merits in metabolic fatigue where you might do 20-25 reps to failure with a lighter weight, but it must be to failure. I'm tending to do more of this lately while gyms are closed as I only have a couple of 25 lbs dumbells and some other improvised kit. Now I'm getting into my 40s it's also less taxing on the joints.
  15. haha, Ronnie Coleman. "everyone wannbe a bodybuilder, but nobody..."
  16. You've done the easy bit. Now for the 4-5 month wait...
