  1. "Dr Joe T"... Didn't know he was performing surgeries now... You haven't posted any donor pictures so unable to comment on the post op situation. I don't like the way they designed the incisions in rows, especially the front hairline. It will probably look too straight. It seems to have healed well and there are grounds to be optimistic. Looks ok for 3 months and should start to see fine hairs poke through in the next 2 months.
  2. David Morrissey. Noticed him in an interview this morning. Good job who ever did it.
  3. 1.25mg Fin every 3 days. I may go 0.5mg every other day should I get 1mg FIN in a year of two (I currently have enough 5mg to last at least 18 months).
  4. I would go Farjo as he's a Coalition doc and as you say, always natural results, and been in the business for 25+ years. He is one of the more conservative doctors though, which is no bad thing, but might not push the density like some others would.
  5. This has been done to death over the years. Completely normal. I think it's to do with hairs being in the growth phase suddenly being forced into a shed. Normal day to day shedding doesn't exibit the J or L shape as it's a controlled process, unlike shock loss.
  6. Hard to tell what change there has been due to differing hair lengths. That said, I think it has improved. Any protocol with DUT is the gold standard to be honest. Belgravia a bit pricey long term. Personally I'd drop the 10% Min and stick with the FIN/DUT. You could probably get it cheaper elsewhere like Oxford Online Pharmacy
  7. Logic to me (based purely on a non medical background) would suggest no issues at all. The main concern is the blood pressure increase in the act of vomiting. This might cause some grafts to pop out slightly. If that didnt happen then you're in the clear. It doesn't look like it did from the photos. Ironically the blood rush to the scalp might have actually improved graft survival.
  8. With FUT the doctor calculates the size of strip necessary to yield the desired number of grafts. If it's 3500 they will get on average 3500 x 2.2 hairs total. With FUE they can select certain size grafts to obtain more hair in less grafts. It's not uncommon to see an average of 2.6-2.8 hairs per graft. So basically there should be no real difference in result between 3000 FUE vs 3500 FUT.
  9. Barber kept it as long as possible at the front and faded it back to the crown. Said it was close to an old style that was popular a few years ago. To me it looked a bit odd but much better after 2 or 3 weeks.
  10. I think he's just using a small amount of concealer in the front hairline.
  11. I just had a look and counted at least 9 surgeons with questionable practices and below average work, 3 or 4 of which were removed from the recommended list here. There is no stated quality criteria from what i can see, other than: send Spencer a nice email and some photos and he will let you know the annual fee.
  12. Some are ranked among the best but there's also a great number of mickey mouse surgeons.
  13. Training 6 days a week is a lot. <10% bf wont help. What sort of routine and how intense is is. How old are you? I may be wrong but I think the amount of Test is not what dictates the amount of DHT; it's the 5 alpha reductase. So TRT probably wouldn't have a huge effect on DHT levels, especially if you're taking Fin. I think DHT derived steroids are what generally causes balding increase as these just add straight DHT into the system. Anyway, WTF would I know. I just follow bodybuilding from time to time. Never touched the stuff! There's a couple of Doctor's I've seen on youtube who know a lot about TRT: Dr Rand McClain and Dr O'Connor. You could try scheduling a discussion with one of them.
  14. I don't see why you couldn't have 1500 FUE and look a lot better than you do now. Maybe have a look at Dr Nadimi. Probably cost close to 15G but will do a high quality job.
  15. A number of factors: The FUT I had was big. About 2.7cm at it's widest point. The scar might not be as good second time around. I'm not losing hair at a rapid rate (virtually no further loss in 8 years), so not worth risking a bigger scar for HT2, which was orginally meant to be only 700 grafts. I didn't want to deal with the long recovery time, being more active in the gym etc. HT2 grew so well, my follicles clearly handle FUE without a problem, so used it again for HT3. I can still have another FUT if needed, but might be more risky if another 1000+ FUE is taken (difficult to hide the scar with short hair) I could still cut my losses somewhat in the future, by filling in the narrow scar with FUE and being able to buzz to a grade 2 or 3. Had I been losing ground and needed 1500+ for HT2, I'd probably have gone FUT.
  16. It's on here somewhere but you can only provide two links in signatures. Probably the least interesting of the 3 HTs.
  17. There's also Dr Edward Ball who did Jimmy Carr's HT last year. Result looks very good.
  18. 42.5 years old. 1/4 Proscar every 3 days. I usually take it at night to avoid any minor brain fog.
  19. Crown pics in the link in my signature below. It's tempting to throw in another 2-300 behind the hairline but not essentially and not even worth thinking about with the travel restrictions. Not sure how may grafts. Probably 2000 FUE only, 3000 with a FUT and FUE. Something like that.
  20. Avoid https://www.theguardian.com/money/2018/mar/31/ksl-brand-hair-transplant-mine-left-me-financially-broken
  21. I've seen a few Shahmalak results he did on celebrities and they are nothing special, but nothing terrible either. However, there are some really good farjo ones on here of late. Not heard many great stories about HSHC to be honest.
