Thank you My strip scar is unnoticeable at a #4 guard, and in time who knows, maybe a #3 but that may be pushing it. I thought I'd chime in on the hairstyle question IMO I think I like the other hairstyle a bit more. With that being said I like the slick back look just think the front should be pomped out a bit more, it would really make the results pop too, something like this Just need to comb it upwards with some clay and a blow dryer and hit it with some holding spray, just my opinion of course. Looking good and (from here) there is no noticeable difference on either side as far as I can tell. Keep us all updated, will be interesting to see if you notice change over the next 3 months. Do you find that you start to move your expectations the better things start to look? If you'd have asked me at the start I would have taken how I look now (6 months) as a completed result and felt satisfied. BUT, as things improve (I've found at least) you do start to strive for total perfection. Keep it up mate, looking great! And you're right, at 6 months I considered my result "perfect" - but it got better. And now I'm admittedly a bit nit-pickier (Ex. I had 4175 FUt by Dr Rahal about six weeks ago and I'm wondering, do you know the sq cm size of your grafted area? It would be interesting to know purely so I can compare my density with yours, as yours looos great, and so I'm hoping mine will be similar. My grafted area was bigger but I have a thousand extra grafts so, it may average out the same. Either way, having seen these photos is making me even more anxious to see mine grow in. Lets get my ruler out and a mirror.... about 10x9cm, so thats 90sq cm, so pretty damn close. I am half way through month 2 and I can see short little new hairs growing when I look with the microscope. Could you tell me, at what point did you look in the mirror and realise that it had changed? I reckon about 3 percent of my grafts are growing right now, and im wondering if the rest will come in gradually or weather they will all just kinda appear within a few weeks, all together.... Im starting to see new hairs now, thin and fine, but quite a few of them. Im guessing they thicken up as they grow. I think im close, maybe 3-4 weeks away, from passing the point I started at, as the shaved off hair obviously made me look balder than before for a while. I was always hoping that id have some kind of result by Christmas, and with a week to go, I think its going to be hard to spot, but something is happening. I have attached a microscope picture. It's been 10.5 months since my frontal third FUT with Dr. Rahal (3185 grafts). This was my 1st HT Also included are my preop, postop, and pic at about 1.5 months when shockloss of my frontal forelock was freakishly bad. My hair has gotten quite long and slicking it back has been fun, considering I'm 41yo and haven't been able to slick it back since my teens. My hair is dyed dark brown -- you can see some of the gray underneath, lol. To be honest, I should've just left it gray -- looks fuller and more dense. At 12 months (mid February '17), I"m going to cut all of my hair very short and have a good look at my 1 year result.
