  1. You'll be fine, just remember with toppik and any other concealer less is better. By the way, congratulations on your recent surgery. It's nice to able to get a procedure done without a shaving the recipient area. You had a good number of grafts, looking forward to seeing your progress. Take care, Scott
  2. Can I ask a question. Just curious why didn't you grow your hair out about an inch before your surgery? You could have helped cover your donor area much easier.
  3. Concealers worked wonders for this purpose for me. But I waited until about 10 to 12 days post op. Dermatch and Fullmore helped me out big time. You may want to experiment with some. Good luck, Scott
  4. I think the only way this could effect your HT is if your recipient area is down ... there .... lol
  5. Your hair fall is most likely due to stopping the fin, happened to me before but after getting back on it, my hair returned.Thankfully
  6. Looks very good.To think it should even get better by the 12 month ! Thanks for sharing
  7. I could swear I'm looking in the mirror ! This work by Dr.Arocha looks almost identical to my work by Dr.Arocha ! Very nice improvement, very natural looking. Great job
  8. Results are looking very good and it only gets better. Congratulations !
  9. Hi tercex, I am very happy with my results. Starting at 4 months post op I have seen such a change. I can now style my hair the way I always wanted to. My confidence has skyrocketed. Getting compliments all the time now. I have absolutely no regrets. I owe it all to Dr.Arocha and his team , they are brilliant and really took care of me. So I am very happy I did it and would recommend a hair restoration with Dr.Arocha to anyone I know who wants to restore their hair !! I would do it again in a heartbeat , and I just might have 1 more in the future for the crown. Take care and good luck to all of you Scott
  10. Thanks Jimbo. I do feel younger and starting to get lots of compliments from my friends and family. In the pics, I do not use concealers and only use them on my crown as it still has some thinning but is also improving. Probably attack it on the next go around.
  11. Thank s Squatch for the compliment. My results have definitely changed my appearance. My confidence level sure is on the rise. I seen your post from you recent surgery with Dr. Gabel, congratulations , work looks great. Excited to see your updates in about 3 to 4 months !! Good luck to you
  12. Yep , with me it has been lots of views barely any replies. After my 9 month update I had none. So I prolly quit wasting peoples, including my own time
  13. Also I got off my fin and was losing more hair , so I got back on it and it's paying off for me now
  14. Hadenough, thanks for your reply. When I had my HT in 2007, it was a very small amt of grafts for the area. I probably would have been better off with about 3500 forbthe area. Also this was before I knew much about this type of surgery so we wanted to be safe and start small and see if another procedure was something worth pursuing. I was happy enough using concealers until last year I decided I wanted to add more and with a top Doctor. That's when I found Dr.Arocha and couldn't be more pleased with my results. Take care, Scott
  15. 9 months post op. I thought I'd update one of my original threads. The 1st 2 pics are before HT #1. The 3rd pick is before HT #2 .The last 3 are 9 months post op HT #2. I'm very pleased with how my hair is coming along.
  16. Yes and yes. For me I also got some pimples and boy did they hurt. They only lasted a few days. As for the grafts that never shed, its also normal that some grafts do NOT shed but rather start to grow. At 2 months , most of what you would have shed should already have done so. Hang in there another 2 months and then the magic begins. Take care, Scott
