  1. Hello everyone. I am here to update my 9 month photos. The 1st 2 are taken before my journey began almost 8 years ago after leaving Hair Club For Men to go for an HT I had my 1st strip surgery by Dr. McClellan who is not a coalition surgeon here. This was before I found this wonderful forum. I was actually happy with the little amt of grafts I had, however I knew eventually I'd be returning for another surgery. My search led me to Dr.Arocha who provided my surgery 9 months ago. The 3rd picture is before my 2nd strip surgery. The rest are taken today 9 months post op and I can't be more happy with how my results are starting to shape up. At 9 months I believe my hair should mature even more by the time it's all said and done.Anyway, thanks for viewing and take care. Scott .
  2. I am 9 months post op from Dr. Arocha and I can say if this is my final result, I would already be 100% satisfied. However, still have more hairs begining to grow even at 9 months and other hair is still maturing !
  3. I have read some Docs dont require you to shave which for some (self included) can be a deal breaker. For my surgery with Dr.Arocha, I did not have to shave recipient area. Prior to the surgery, I grew my hair to sort of a "ceasar style " which completely hid my procedure. I returned to work the following week and no one was the wiser !
  4. If I may chime in here. I agree that you should go with who you are most comfortable with, do not rush and do ur research.I did last year and chose Dr. Arocha. Tomorrow I will be 8 months post op from a 3000 graft strip surgery and I am beyond satisfied with my results so far. I look in the mirror and cant believe my growth and can actually choose what hairstyle I want to wear that day. And I still have more growth to go. Everything he said in our consult has come true. For example; I had very limited discomfort during and after the surgery. I could choose to shave the recipient area or not. I could return to work the following week. Heres a big one, little to no shockloss / graft shedding in the recipient area. They have a topnotch professional team and they really took care of me and accommodated my wife and baby as well. I know their are many excellent and consistent results from the coalition dr.s here and Dr. Arocha being one of them his artistic hairline designs are a thing of beauty.Because of my personal experience, I will always recommend him to anyone I know contemplating a procedure because I believe in his passion for happy patients like me. Scott
  5. Hello everyone, I am posting these a little early not sure Ill have time to post an 8 month update. I am excited and very pleased so far. My hair has been continuing to grow and I still feel more stubbles as more hair is beginning to sprout. Here are some updated pics. The 1st 2 are before my 1st surgery, the 2nd 2 are before my 2nd HT with Dr.Arocha thus past January and I just amazed by the improvement already. Thanks for viewing and happy growing. Scott
  6. Doesnt sound right to me. Personally, I wouldnt want to put my head through any experiment, especially when it comes to HTs, donor grafts are to precious to waste. If its not performed by a recommended coalition surgeon here, you may want to think it over very carefully. Just my 2 cents
  7. My procedure with Dr. Arocha was very clean and went smooth for me as I didnt have to shave anything but where the donor area is. My hair covered everything recipient and donor.I could have returned to work the following week and no one would have been the wiser. I had some extra vacation days so I returned to work 10 days post op comfortably.
  8. Congratulations on your 5 months. Your hair is getting thicker and will continue to improve, especially in the next few months !
