  1. You're quite well spoken and know how to paint a picture -- hard not to admire the clinic's professionalism after a write up like this. With dulcet tones I wish you a speedy and painless recovery. 🙂 Looking forward to updates!
  2. Juan, you have such a kind face I'm so happy that you got a 10+/10 result. Also your English is great, don't cut yourself down so much. But regarding your 2nd surgery, do you have any pics yet? 🤓 You were going to get it on 11/20/21 correct?
  3. @Looking for HT I'm not sure why you had a poor yield with the first surgery but good luck with your second attempt, things are looking solid so far. Is there anything you did differently with your post op care this time? I might ditch the complicated post op routine (standing on your head, avocado oil, etc.) this time around. Most people who've gone to Eugenix have just followed clinic instructions and seem to have fared better than you did. I really hope everything works out. Please keep us updated!
  4. The nice thing about this result is that if the final result is too sharp/unnatural, they can always go back for a revision. But if they made the temple points too soft/feminine, they would have to go back for electrolysis. So of those two possibilities, I would rather too sharp than too dull.
  5. Any news @Captain Haddock? Also did the shock loss at the donor improve?
  6. Wow what a rollercoaster! I think you're going to learn something very interesting with this -- if the growth is slow, then that's just your metabolism. If it grows quickly then we need to reconsider what happened at your front/mid scalp and consider getting a skin biopsy to see if a hidden infection or autoimmune process is at play. I don't know if you said this before but what is your age? You seem really young but slow growers can be associated with older transplant recipients.
  7. Great results! One question, I noticed on the images there is a little bit of skin showing above the temples, right more than left Is this an illusion from the hair being wet or was there a little less yield here? Please keep updating. You went to one of the best in the world in my opinion.
  8. He is certainly up there. Well done temple points and strong yields. Relatively few patient submitted cases with 1 year outcomes but they're showing up. OP, what did the clinic tell you about the aloe? The best approach I've found is, if you don't have someone else to do it for you, try using a high resolution camera and video the back of your head. The images will probably be lower resolution and give a slight illusion of fullness as compared to standard pictures. There is also a timer function on your iphone camera that can work but will take some practice to know how to center your head right. Incredible result. Please keep us updated.
  9. Ferreira is one of the few docs I've seen who makes temple points almost as beautifully at Konior. Just a stunning hairline. You're coming up on 9 months soon. Though I'm afraid I'll just get jealous, would love to see updates. 🙃
  10. Would love to see an update Sir Ramen! Your hairline in particular looks AMAZING, would love to see how it turned out.
  11. I give you the witness protection award. As in, you could go into witness protection after this surgery in case you're on run from the mafia. I think I know where this movie's gonna end but please keep updating us. Wow.
  12. This is a great result Maz, please keep us updated. The design frames your face perfectly. LLLT is not a bad idea. My understanding is that its degree of effect is similar for most people to minoxidil, just without the blood pressure issues and swelling. Did Eugenix have any opinion on you starting red light and minoxidil at 30 days?
  13. Interesting. What really gets me is they're getting growth in senior citizens who wouldn't be responding well to any meds and some of their patients aren't even shedding. The transplanted hairs themselves are just straight growing. It would be really interesting to see what the clinics that are able to achieve this consistently are doing differently. As in, is it a more humid environment, what storage solution is used for the grafts, what technique (ie. stick and place technique vs pre-made slits), PRP during the procedure, etc.
  14. Can you get a skin biopsy of the affected area? It could impact your course of treatment and would be extremely helpful in case you need a revision down the line.
  15. I have been looking at a bunch of Eugenix cases lately after our moderator's recent work and it struck me how consistently early their patients have early growth. Are there other clinics/surgeons known for early growth? I might say Keser and Lorenzo seem to have a gentler touch and good early yields. Does anyone else stand out to you guys?
  16. I wonder if the PRP during the procedure explains why these guys are getting such good early growth. Definitely keep us updated, you are looking great.
  17. It's a fair point but I've seen some amazing "tech run clinic" results here and some really horrible MD results. Some folks are good on paper, bad in bed. But I totally understand your perspective.
  18. I think you may be overthinking this a bit, which I am guilty of as well on more than one occasion. What matters most, at least for me, are patient posted results. The pictures may not be perfect, the lighting might be off, but that's the only honest reflection of skill that we have here. As far as the details of the procedure, let's say it's their techs that do the procedure, but they're hitting home runs every time. Would you exclude that clinic because your follicles weren't extracted or placed by someone that passed their MCATs? I would rather have the high school educated tech with green thumbs. While it's not a bad idea to ask for details, it also makes it hard to see the forest from the trees.
  19. Not much to add to your discussion, well said. It sounds like you've considered this carefully and are going into it with good research and a healthy mindset.
  20. When I didn't hear from them after writing/calling in English, I e-mailed and called back in Spanish and got a response after a few days. Could have been a different time of year or coincidence, but that's what I based my comment on.
