  1. @Abbasits really tough to judge frm ths pics but hw many grafts u had ? And dont u think the hairline is bit more lowered ? Jst appears so from ur pic and i may nt be true ....
  2. Yeh generally growth will pick up aftr 4 months till 14 to 18 months....u r sure on a right track and seems to be doing well..r u on medication or nt?...keep updating..
  3. @Michael D yeh as u mentioned its good tht ur donor is fully recovered and thts a positive thng...yeh u will start seeing good growth after 4-5 months from the date of surgery till 16-18 months .... Its hard to judge from ur pics abt the grafts count bt in my opinion right nw u have the only option to trust thm and trust ur decision to choose thm and look forward to their advice and hw to improve ur result... I wish u r on medication ..!
  4. @AbbasThnks for the informative video melvin..i wish he dont be a case of over harvesting ...still its early time to judge and need to give atleast 3-4 months from the date of surgery before geting a surety of what is the actual thng... And if u cn please do mention the clinic name and even share your pre op pics so can see how ur donor was before surgery and the pics of the surgery day to see the extraction pattern...
  5. So i guess u will ditch the ugly ducking phase ...r u on medication ?
  6. Thnks for the suggestions...so i would be soon preparing the questionnaire as am booked for my ht with him this march..😊
  7. Ur donor seems to be recovered vry well...i cn understand ur consern but i guess u will not feel tht gap once you will get a good growth and the implanted hair gets thicker...it may be a case whr the doctor have to be cautious tht they dont damage the existing graft by pacing the new one ..so thr may be a need to keep a fraction of gap..still you can consult ur surgeon and take his advice abt this... Am sure you are goin to get a vry good result seeing hw densely packed ur hairline is and it would match ur existing hair...wish u the best..and plz do keep posting the updates..😊
  8. Please update ... And to match the density of ur existing hair i guess there would have been an increase in the quoted grafts so that you get satisfactory results with good amout of density on ur hairline which matches your density of the existing hair to make it look natural and undetectable ...otherwise you hair would have been less dense thn ur existing hair and you would not have got satisfactory outcome..and doctor can do this as you have got good donor and being assured that you will not be a case of high norwood in the coming years..😊
  9. I believe one or two patients per day is good and doing extraction and incisions by himself/herself is considered the right way...so both ths thng shud be considered while choosing a surgeon ...where as results matter alot as well..so go with a balance ld approach based on the surgeon's involvement in the surgery as well as their result..check out the hairlines they creat ..their crown work and hw natural they make it appear... Seeing ur posts i feel u want some1 who has good results and charges a reasonable price...see its not tht thr are no good surgeons other thn ths recommended list..but as here thr are so many patients reviews and results its safe to go with someone who is recommended here... You have some good surgeons you cn choose frm the recommended list which will fit your criteria...u cn consider dr yaman , dr turan, dr bicer, dr pekiner, dr laorwong ,dr path , eugnix centre , dr nader , dr Camacho ....all this are good surgeons who produced great results and cost reasonable ...so choose wisely ..😊
  10. From my point of view you are right on track mate...u will see more growth from now onwards till 18month mark...am sure you will get good coverage and natural hairline ...keep posting 😊
  11. Yeh as melvin suggested u shud consult the recommended surgeons and see what their opinions are and thn ask for results (cases similar to urs) from thm and their compare them and thn take ur decision ..as u r not a high grade norwood scale patient and considering u have got good donor (frm ur pics) u can achieve a good result...
  12. Right..actually i believe that personal check up is good...bt as people are traveling frm so far thr shud be a balanced approach...after virtual consultation if a surgeon find out tht thr may be a chance of some issues with scalp or any othr thngs thn he shud ask patient that if you can travel for a personal consultation thn it wud be better and if u can't travel thn their cn be a chance that u will get rejected on the day of surgery ...so if the patient can afford to travel or if he is living nearby will go for a personal check up and if nt thn he wud b prepared for a rejection on the surgery day... But yeh in ths scenario doctor's day wud be wasted as he wud have alloted tht day for the surgery to that particular patient..but thn doctor may use ths day for consultations and posting results on ths forum and replying to the queries here as they rarely get such full day opportunity like ths in their busy schedule ...😅
  13. Yeh right its very challenging and u r doing it well...and thnks to you and very few other doctors tht we are seeing gud fut results ...as fut is a rare this days...😊
  14. Yeh it looks around 3000 ofcourse and u can take the breakdown of grafts from the clinic.. Yeh medication will improve your crown...ask your doctor abt oral minoxidil as well..and u cn also consider prp therapy for that...
  15. Very nice result..i believe when a patient have thick hair and good hair growth thn it becomes challenging to create hairline with such growth which matches the growth and thickness of rest of the hair and still make it look natural...have to densely pack it and still make it look natural ...so great job dr path
  16. Excellent result...thick hair really helps for a better and satisfactory outcome
  17. Start the medication as soon as possible .. As u got side effects from finasteride u cn use minoxidil lotion ..and u cn try prp and laser therapy as well..i guess by medication and prp ur hair loss wud be stabilised and will nt need surgery for crown as of now and it can be delayed for few years...
  18. Evrythng looking great so far...wish you a healthy growth
  19. Both are great doctors and produced great results but i just feel @DrMunibAhmadhas an upper hand when it comes to showing results ...he always try to show true to real life results ..evry doctor has to take leaf out of him about this thing..and actually it requires a lot of guts cause once u set tht trend of showing results like that thn u need to show like tht for evry patient and thts tough for most of the doctors out there ..and tht shows his confidence ...
  20. That too much of a shock loss...you can use topical minoxidil over thr ..and consult you doctor and take his opinion
