  1. Oral Minoxidil and Generic Chantix (Varenicline). Has anyone heard of any side effects or a reason to not take both?
  2. This question is for everyone,I guess? Something that I noticed about myself. Wondering if I am the only one or are there more like me? After your HT: When you watch TV do you wonder, or can you tell other people have had Hair Transplants also? Some news anchors, movie stars, and others.... It's kinda obvious, isn't it? Not saying they were bad jobs, at all. Look at old movies from say, the 70s. and how the average man's hair around 50 60 or 70 is, and now.
  3. I do have some pics. Not many. Not as many as last time. These 2k grafts were placed in the crown and middle area. Getting a piece of that 12 or 17 million dollar lawsuit was tempting. But I felt I had to do the right thing. I'm OK with the work that got done there. Too many people doing bad things for money nowadays, the lawsuit? I took some pics during the break, I think? Hard to get that angle, back of, and top of the head. The old hair has grown so fast already, a couple of weeks since the operation. The scabs are almost all gone too. The donor area is a little itchy still. Some saline spray helps a little. A few bumps back there, but they will go away. Much different and not such a big deal this time. I was so scared last time. My first time. I was turned off by the topical spray, way too messy. Going to try oral minoxidil this time. I wanted the surgery to do all the work. I still do. I do not want to be a slave taking a pill for my hair.
  4. Great, Glad to hear! I forgot to add that I got a script for oral minoxidil this time also. If I start growing hair on my ears and other places, and looking like Chewbacca I will discontinue it. LOL! Glad that I was able to afford some more work done. (Being how Awesome the economy is right now. LOL) My journey is complete with HT now.
  5. Having completed my 2 part Hair restoration recently. 2k grafts a year ago, and final 2k grafts recently. The "roller coaster ride", (not sure what to expect), is very minimal. The work done a year ago has gone well, and I have more confidence that the recent work will go just as good. Hope that makes sense.
  6. I updated my results for about 6 months. Work just got too busy after that. Now work has slowed down and I'm back.
  7. A year ago it was only half of what I needed done. I knew that going in. The donor area was done very nice and grew back fine, and the new hair is fine. No artificial looking lines or anything. Very well done.
  8. I had a HT by them last year. I had a post on here about it, a year ago. It just seems like this is turning into a witch hunt.
  9. Sure is a lot of talk about this. Since 2017? Saying that they are the scam. Maybe the people doing the accusing is nothing more than the scam?
  10. Hasn't been quite a full year yet, since my HT. From what I remember, the numbing is the most painful. The needle they use. Then the swelling days later. A lot of fun. Your scalp is fully numb. Almost like a helmet. I think there is some comparison used like a helmet to this. I am sure if there was something better, it would be being used. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck!
  11. I did some Google searches. Virginia Surgical comes up first organically in the 2 searches I did. Hair restoration Virginia and Hair transplant Virginia. I didn't see anything about getting arrested. Google ranking your website #1 is pretty good. A profitable place to be, versus a lower organic ranking. It was told to me by someone, I think I can trust? It was told to me that the hair transplant industry is very cutthroat and competitive. Down right "evil", low morals kinda, it could be. Also told that some allegations against Virginia Surgical were/are false. Example of cutthroat evil pushy, low morals: I am still getting emails and text messages from a HT place in Florida, that I canceled an appointment with 8 or 9 months ago. If I ever made an appointment. I remember talking with them and considering going with them. The emails tell me that I have an appointment coming up, no date or time, and some other stuff. I never fully read them. They are very pushy. I don't have any appointments coming up. I call them back and leave messages, and email telling them that I do not have an appointment. I still get phone calls and emails. More: I have been messaged in here, and called I think, or emailed, from one guy or another. 2 I think? Maybe more. They told me that they had been done wrong by Virginia Surgical. Wanted me to join them in a lawsuit or something. I asked for pictures of what had been done to them. That is when they disappear, or act like I didn't ask for pics. Or change the subject. I had work done at Virginia Surgical, and I'm neither happy or unhappy. I need more work done. I knew I would. There was no scarring, it would seem good work was done. My hair is noticeably a little bit better/thicker and natural/normal looking. I see the difference compared to older pics. My friends don't see it, weird? I only got 2000 grafts. I need more done. I am not defending or condemning Virginia Surgical. Only saying what I have seen with my own eyes, and experience, to be true. Sure is a lot of drama around the #1 organic website. Could this negativity be from competitors? If it is, then that explains what I was told about the highly competitive, bad morals, in the Hair transplant industry. I am not defending or condemning them. It does look like there is some fishy stuff going on here, both ways, maybe?
