  1. Most of us go through this same thing. Doubt and regret and panic and worry. For most people, your hair hasn’t even begun to sprout at 3-4 months. My hairline was an early grower but my crown lagged a lot. And for other people the hairline lags on time as well. Just give it more time and reassess at 6-7 months
  2. I’m guessing because he’s completely bald there. SMP for density requires enough hair to thinly cover the area.
  3. This is a recipe for disaster - they don’t want you to know the doctor’s name, the ultra low cost, no review of them on here, etc. A hair transplant is potentially a life changing procedure and should be treated as such. Do your research, go to a quality surgeon, and pay the premium so your hair isn’t ruined for life.
  4. I need to retract part of my statement. When I look in the mirror at my SMP, even up close, I see nice pronounced dots that match the color and tone of my hair. However when I try to take a picture of them, they look similar to yours. I’m thinking maybe the light shining down and reflecting off the scalp is what’s causing them to look dull and misshapen. If I try to take pictures without direct overhead light you can’t even see the dots as it just looks like hair. So it’s really hard to photograph, at least for me. I do still stand by my concern regarding the hairline though.

  6. SMP should not fade quickly at all if you’re taking care of it. It’s been 8 months for me and it looks exactly the same. the only discernible difference is from immediately post SMP when there’s extra ink on your scalp, versus a week later when it’s all healed. Then from there it should be heard before you ever notice a difference
  7. I’m going to second this. As someone who has had SMP for density (and thrilled with the results), I don’t think you need it at all.
  8. I replied in the other thread but will here too. The dots don’t look like dots, they look like dull smudges beneath the surface. Almost like when tattoo ink is really blown out or after partial laser removal. I’ve never seen SMP look like this. im also confused why you have essentially two hairlines. Is the lower hairline from the HT and it was a very poor yield? the good news is you can get this lasered off it will be like it never happened, save for the money it cost you.

  10. SMP looks great but as others have said, man his hair looks awful
  11. It was deleted, but the person who posted above me initially just said “yes”
  12. No it does not. The person who replied above me is lying.
  13. Is there a written announcement we can read that covers specifics? For those of us who don’t have the time to watch the video.
  14. Your donor and crown are outstanding so you’re fortunate at 45 years old to only have hair loss at the hairline. That being said I’d do fin/min/nizoral for 6-12 months and see if it reverses any hair loss, before you consider an HT.
  15. I’m not freaking out at all, I just don’t like seeing misinformation being spread nor being attacked, especially by someone who “doesn’t do density treatments” because they’re bad yet offers it as a service on their site.
  16. My final thoughts. It’s odd that you’re talking bad about density SMP, saying you stay away from it, then your website for your company says it’s something you offer…..
  17. Lots of people do stuff for a living and still give out misinformation, or go based on their own experiences without realizing others so it differently. Every industry is filled with people who work at elite status, people who half ass it, and people who just aren’t any good. The guys that did mine were trained by the best in the business and have countless awards for their work. Can you say the same? Bottom line, just about everything you said was wrong about my specific case and the specific company that did my work. If there are companies out there doing the things you’re saying, then I hope people avoid them for density work. But the fact of the matter is that the place I went to as well as many other reputable places do quality density work that doesn’t have the issues you speak about. I think it’s good that you stay away from it, as I do agree it would be risky business if you did it, based on what you’re saying here. This is a positive forum, and not a place to spread misinformation nor try to make others feel bad about themselves and their decisions. If you’re just going to post misinformation and disparage people, I ask that you not do it on my thread please.
