  1. We would need to see pictures of these fallen follicles with a bulb attached to them. Also have you spoken to your surgeon about it?
  2. Not only is this a home run overall, but those are some of the best temple point reconstructions I’ve ever seen.
  3. Looks fantastic! What place did you end up going to?
  4. I am a heavily tatted guy (both sleeves, both pecs, back, etc. I have considerably less body hair in those areas than I did when I was younger. I don’t know if the tattoo itself caused hair loss, or if it’s just unrelated and age related or some condition. But I went from a super hair dude to a mildly hair dude. if you get a head tattoo then later on get an HT in that area, the tattoo would likely look a bit jacked after.
  5. I’m not sure how hairy his body is, and yeah he has a decent beard but it’s patchy I think. I mean who am I kidding I wish I was him but I have to find fault 😂
  6. I am “blessed” with bountiful body hair and beard hair haha. It is rare that you see a dude with lots of body hair and a thick beard and also has a full head of hair, but it does happen.
  7. Probably related to why Asian men rarely have a lot of facial and body hair.
  8. I hate all of these men with every fiber of my being 😂
  9. Holy crap you have amazing growth for only 4 months. At 8 months this is going to be incredible.
  10. I personally would avoid a hair transplant until your hair loss has stabilized. If you get one now and your hair is effectively restored, it could look really bad in 5 years (or less) if your hair loss progresses.
  11. “Hair loss themselves don’t cause hair loss” - Melvin, 2021 😂😉
  12. Steroids just speed up the male pattern baldness process. They don’t cause their own kind of baldness.
  13. I’ve never heard of him but looked him up and you’re right. I wonder if this is some sort of medical condition? Their heads are so tall.
  14. Actor Brad Raider. His hairline is so low and his head so tell that he’s one of the few people who probably wish they had a receding hairline.
  15. Oh it made a huge difference. Scroll back a page or two and look at my before and after. Also I made a separate thread in the SMP section with pics and videos. SMP hides all scalp from showing through my hair.
  16. It’s 4 days shy of a year so here are my obligatory 1 year photos. As I’ve said the last several months, there’s not going to be any change beyond my hair being longer. My hair length has now reached the “ugly duckling” stage for growing your hair out. For anyone who has ever grown long hair, you know there is a period where it just looks dumb. Sadly I am in that period, lol. But keeping my eye on the prize. Since there’s not much more to this HT journey, I’ve decided to start on a new hair restoration project - micro needling. I have read and seen great results on Reddit from micro needling combined with minoxidil. Since I don’t really need it overall on my head (and it could damage my SMP), I’m just going to do it on my temple points since I have virtually none. I may also do it on my hairline and temples just to do the whole area that frames my face. I’ll post pics on a few months if there are any results. I took “before” pics today but I’ll save them for when I post “after” shots if there is any improvement.
  17. The place I went to used CareCredit, which was no interest for 18 months. Lots of places that do elective cosmetic surgery partner with CareCredit.
  18. Everyone is different. I was an early grower and my HT was basically done by 9 months. But others see improvement all the way up to a year or even 18 months.
  19. I have to echo everyone here - you’re not a good candidate for an HT. The HT itself will likely not give you anywhere close to decent coverage, and the hairs will likely not survive long term. In a few years from now you’ll be right back to where you are now, or worse.
  20. You could be a stunt double for Justin Chatwin
