  1. This is what you see in nature all the time. It's when a hairline/temple points begin to look 'perfect' that it begins to catch the eye. Design looks good. 👌
  2. This will sound hypocritical but I think it’s probably best to do this in two stages. The reason being that you are not using the majority of your donor in one hit on a large area in case something goes wrong. Also you can see how the first surgery pans out in terms of growth, weak spots and donor recovery. There’s nothing wrong with having surgery performed over consecutive days but waiting 12 months allows you and the doctor to see what you’re working with from the experience of the first surgery. All the best.
  3. @Stewie your hair length is mad for just shy of two months. I’m at the same place yet I can’t jump start this Viking look for love or money! Looking great mate. 👌👌💯
  4. For two months this is incredible @Skeeter! 👌💯
  5. I think Yaman has shown some great work with the odd questionable result. But that’s true of any surgeon. I also like Gur and Pekineer (if you can find him).
  6. Once they have given you the number of grafts then I would prepay nearly all of it. Open an account like Wise which has good exchange rates. Less stress for you once you’re there so you can focus on the surgery, etc. All the best.
  7. I respect your decision to not want to try a 5ari. However as a Norwood 6 you want to stabilize your donor from further loss going into a transplant. If you do feel you’re getting side effects you can cease the medication. It’s only my opinion nothing more. Look at surgeons who do great work in Norwood 6 patients and understand donor management. All the best.
  8. The texture and quality of a scar continues to improve, albeit somewhat subtly, for years.
  9. @Diff-thinner their is nothing to worry about at all. At two weeks hairs will be falling out and this can last for two months. It's just part of the process. Think how you'll look in 12 months! 💯👌
  10. Wow Addy! Only five months and your coverage and growth density has increased dramatically since month four alone! You have many months ahead of you which is incredible. Get ready to handle the coveted 2024 Best Hair Transplant of the Year! 🏆💯👌
  11. As a very ‘rough’ rule of thumb it takes about 1,000 grafts per Norwood level. From Norwood 5 onwards I would increase that to 1,500 at least. For the number of grafts I think this is a good result. 👌
  12. Donor looks great and the work looks very clean. 👌
  13. @davidmcvicker if you feel you received no benefits from Finasteride do you mean your hair loss continued? How long were you on Finasteride? If your hair loss didn’t improve but your hair loss remained stable then the drug is working. Just curious. Yes as @Berba11 stated that green hairline would look regretful and would also waste too many grafts that you could benefit with keeping. All the best. 👍
  14. Yes I would attribute this to oral minoxidil by the sounds of it. It can take up to one year to see the peak benefits of oral minoxidil so it will be interesting to see your full benefits in time. All the best.
  15. I still can't believe @captaincalico how 'natural and full' your results are. In fact I can't believe from where you started from! 💯👌
  16. @Random27 I think month two is the hardest place in the ugly duckling period. However hair is growing out in your small spots of shock loss. It takes time not just for the hair to grow but also for the scalp to bounce back. All the best.
  17. @Matt Kheder that certainly is a natural looking result. How many grafts?
  18. @Buffaloboy whoever you choose for your surgery I wish you only the best. 👍 I am not recommending Eugenix or any clinic. You do not have to apologize about anything if you get a great result. The whole exercise in doing your research takes time and should be focused on minimizing the risks as much as possible to position you for the best result that can be achieved. I wish you just that. But never feel rushed into a hair transplant. Medication should always be your first option. As the old saying goes you can always have surgery ‘tomorrow.’ All the best. 👍
  19. I said any clinic if you reread your thread. You need to see the bigger picture. Surgery is for the rest of your life. You’re the one stating Eugenix. I’m just stating that you need to be a strong candidate when it comes to surgery. I have no interest whether it’s Eugenix which you have mentioned in your thread or some hair mill in Australia. I do have an interest in hopefully hearing you talk about your real research in terms of hair results. Don’t get bogged down in the minutiae and playing the Eugenix card because I went to them for my surgery as a Norwood 7. All the best now let’s move on.
  20. @GeneralNorwood if we had known you were going we could have all made up our list of questions to ask! 😜 The wait will be truly worth it. Time flies and you’re going to who many believe are the best! Wishing you all the best! 💯👊🏻
  21. Six weeks post op HT3 Six weeks weeks has passed since I had 800 scalp and 400 hundred beard grafts transplanted into the crown. I am truly in the bowels of the big ugly duck 🫣🦆 I’ll hang onto the mullet (why not) and color and trim my hair at three months. This third post op period has definitely felt like the longest one by a country mile.
