  1. Thanks for your advice my doctor seemed to say it would be fine but his reply wasn’t great I presume he understood my message. I am on finasteride and on day 15 I’ll start 2% topical minoxidil for 1 month and then 5% topical onwards. My crown is thinning unfortunately any advice?
  2. Hi there. Yes I did do some damage. However from what I can see the grafts have not been removed during this process. I’m so stressed regarding this as obviously I was go early. In your experience would you say that would kill the grafts? There was no blood as such just what was seen in the photos as far as I’m aware. I lost one on mid scalp and was bleeding for example I didn’t have that with the hairline just the red wounds from scabs. what’s your opinion please?
  3. Hey guys just wanted to share my experience of my recent hair transplant. I visited HMRC which is Dr Michalis Georgiou. Flown into Cyprus and was greeted by my own personal driver for my stay so it was easy to get to and from the airport and clinic. This along with the flights and hotel was included in the package which was set at €1.7 per graft. Procedure involved the lead nurse administering the anaesthesia which was honestly around a 3/10 for pain. Like a short bite and it was done. Dr designed the hairline and discussed my wishes before work commenced. The doctor uses only a manuel punch for the donor area and can do around 1700 max grafts per day. Head was broken down into sections and extraction started on the back (the most uncomfortable position) the following day was sides so much easier to lay. Nurse then extracted the grafts once the doctor had finished his small section. They worked well together in tandem and it seemed very smooth. Once she had extracted then she would separate and count using magnification. The doctor would then work on the recipient area and do all the punches and together with his lead nurse implant the grafts. At all times the doctor and nurse would use magnification which they stressed was very important especially when it comes to building the hairline with single grafts. The aim was to achieve a density of 70cm2 for the first cm and 50cm2 behind. I’m not sure how realistic this result will be however I’m hopefully of a positive outcome. Overall the experience was much better and less painful than I imagined and recovery has been very speedy. Not to mention this doctor offers unshaven recipient transplants however I opted for shaved as I’m comfortable with my hair short plus I wanted to ensure the best results. See some photos attached. Any opinions on density and quality of work would be much appreciated as I’m no expert by any means. My only concern is that I removed the scabs to early on the hair line as you can see they was still red and sour however no hairs or grates was removed from what I can see. Around day 5/6 I think I removed the front and I’m not on day 11 and it seems 95% clear now.
  4. Hi bother I’m going to see him on Monday for 3000 grafts for zone A. Little nervous glad to see this post tho.
  5. Hey again. So I’m going in March to MHRC can you advise me tho that does UK phone network usable in Cyprus? Or would I need to buy an additional sim to use network/call etc? Thanks
  6. Hey any ideas why it was removed? That’s unfortunate can you message me privately?
  7. Can anybody point me to the Greek and Spanish forums please?
  8. Just saw this reply thanks very much for confirming that. I’ll be travelling home ASAP did you have much swelling etc? One thing they haven’t talked about is washing etc the following day? Do they give you any pillow for plane or after care products etc? Thanks. is there much to see around the hotel or is it remote?
  9. Hello again. Sorry to bother you. I was originally planning to go with my wife and son for support however I’m put off now with them coming due to the nature of the trip/cost attached. I’ve never travelled alone before let alone had a procedure done which is big in itself. How was your experience? Smooth from pickup to hotel to clinic etc? No need to bring a partner etc? I can just chill on hotel until appointment.
  10. Hey can you help me? I found lots of his work on another site I think a Greek one but can’t find the link again. I’ve seen there’s only a handful of threads on the Spanish one. I’m booked with Dr Michalis in March all going well.
  11. I booked my depots with Dr M tonight 💪 your happy with the work you had?
  12. I just paid my deposit. No turning back this time. Come March I’ll be there!! Excited!!
  13. Hey again. Out of interest do you know if they accept credit card or is it cash only like most places? Thanks
  14. 3rd injection? Isn’t there like 30/40 per session? Or just when working with the whole head at once? Thanks for your help. Much appreciated
