They’ve released their studies over a year, and it’s safety profile was amazing while having somewhat the same efficacy as finasteride. CB apparently doesn’t go systemic, as it metabolizes as soon as it comes to the bloodstream. it should hopefully come out in 2-3 years, but if you’re feeling experimental, you could get the compound yourself.

Baffled at the hair system suggestions.. that I can't wrap my head around. You have a lot of hair to maintain, get on meds and you will likely stabilize a great deal. Maybe you'll need a transplant in the future, but I don't think its necessary now, but if you start saving and planning now you'll be in a great position.

Can’t pitty yourself for not going on it earlier, naturally everyone is going to be hesitant, I did the same for 2 years. I think even if someone told me to get on it before I noticed my own thinning, I still probably would have been in denial of my loss/ hesitant to commit to a drug after never being on any sort of medication ever. Thankfully we have transplants. Gotta accept the situation, deal with it, and move on 👊🏻

Whatever happens you will be fine, If the medication is creating sides, taper down, and if it continues it will subside if you come off

Lol watching porn isn’t what you need. You may be getting performance anxiety and are blowing a lot of this up in your head. Slow down and cut your dosage down a bit and see how you react. Get your doctors take, and be patient. If you just had surgery, and just started taking medication, naturally you are embodying a lot of stress, esp with all the shit going in the world, now you have to think about whether your gf will put up with your wang not working or whatever else you have on your head. Just bring the dosage down and see how you respond slowly. Watching porn to try to get some stimulation won’t do anything but build up anxiety

I do believe you should consult with your doctor. Just to share my experience, I remember getting slight headaches in the beginning but went away after the 4th day or so and haven't had any headache since. Just some irritated scalp along the way that may have been just dry scalp and not attributed to Minoxidil.

If you have a recliner that is ideal to keep you in the 45 degree position. I had to pile some pillows together to make a 45 degree happen, I did that for 5 days and the swelling was gone by then .

Yeah I had it in September and actually preferred wearing the mask as everyone is right up close to your face. You're pretty relaxed so breathing isn't an issue. You'll be fine

Yep good place to start, gradually titrate as you feel comfortable. I started with the same dosage a year ago and have moved now to 1mg

I have pretty good coverage, but my hair feels very soft/thin and is growing pretty slowly. I’m wondering if any long term users have felt their hair get thicker on finasteride?

I think it’s rather fair and ethical for a doctor to highly recommend medication to a patient concerned about their hair and willing to get a transplant. Hair transplants will not for most people give full coverage and your hair loss will continue to progress. you don’t have much to lose by trying it for yourself. Sides are rare according to every study, and if you do get sides, they will subside when you come off treatment. At least then after trying it for a year, you know whether it’s something you’ll continue or if it’s effective, and if not, you’ll have a better strategy with approaching a hair transplant.
