Have to agree with Melvin & Gastheorer, your loss is too far gone, and your donor isn’t great either. Finasteride could only really save hair that’s no more than 50% miniaturized, so I don’t know if there would be any point. That said, You have a full thick beard and should use that to your advantage. Imo, keep the beard groomed and maintained and clean shave your head and move on. You probably look great like that judging by your head shape, and your comment about having been comfortable with that for a long time. You’re gonna start giving yourself a headache chasing something that isn’t in your favour.

I believe it’s a cowlick as well, but just start monitoring it. No need to panic, you have a solid head of hair all over. I have a similar situation too & lighting plays a part in that area. first photo is under direct light, and the next one is me in the same spot, just slightly turned my head away from being directly under the light.

This is what I'm talking about. The blue pill is proscar quartered so 1.25 mg, and the red pill is 1mg generic finasteride. Both of these from the same pharmacy. The quarter is so tiny, its hard for me to grasp that it could have so much effect. Where do you live? Do you have access to a good surgeon or even a dermatologist to take a look at your situation? I think they would be able to assess the future pattern of your head better. The truth is we will all obviously continue to lose hair as we get older, but your fear is you believe you’re losing too fast now. If you’re judging your hair under harsh light and especially wet.. then you’re not being fair to yourself entirely. I’ve had girlfriends with good hair obviously and at time’s when light was shinning direct on the head I could see through to some scalp.. I remember the first time I realized that I was shocked. yes I completely agree, the most important game is the yield and donor management. Don’t settle for anyone less than who you think is great. As for shedding, I experienced shedding from minox when I started, and again from fin when I eventually began that. It took about 3 months for the shedding to stop after fin. I think you should give yourself more time to assess it, but if you’re still worried, considering trying dutasteride 1X a week, I’ve read some guys do that here, as a little insurance policy. However please research and consider jt well before you do that

Yeah you definitely benefited from it, that’s amazing. I’ve watched the hair loss show on YouTube prior, up until about two weeks ago I was doing 3-4x a week, but I tolerate it well so I up’d it to every day.. mainly so I don’t have to think about what day it is every day too Loool

Yeah I was throwing in regular 1mg every third day to be sure, because I have a little more supply. Should be fine however judging from what everyone is saying

Hey everyone, just have a quick question about a prescription I got for 5mg proscar (finasteride). The pill is very small, it’s the same size as the 1mg tablets of generic finasteride I was taking. I have a good cutter and I’m able to quarter it, but it leaves it to the tiniest little piece of a tablet. Likely this isn’t a concern, but I just wanted to know if that’s fine for effectiveness? Obviously it has the same potency (slightly more cuz of the 1.25) but I’m just wondering if it will get worked through the system all the same or get broken down too quickly. as I wrote this up, I realize the question felt sillier and sillier. But I’ll leave it to see if anyone else had the same concern for a small pill thanks

@Struggle Hey my man, you wrote up your paragraph like its all gloom, but I see a lot of opportunity in your situation. You still have a considerable amount of hair to work with, your loss is something a top doctor does in one session and you're doing whats necessary for prevention. In fact, you are ahead of your father and the rest of your family who likely didn't have all these opportunities to combat their loss. Talk to your family, make your problems clear to them. Make a financial plan, set a timeline and choose a doctor. You're 24 and I sympathize with you (I'm 27 similar situation) but tough luck. Hair loss really tests all of our characters but in a couple years time when you look back at this you'll laugh that you ever got so worked up about it. 1) Our hair goes through phases, the shedding is likely a phase your'e experiencing. The medication is statistically effective among the majority of men, you're not excluded from this. So you need to stay patient. 2) You already mentioned it, but your only major concern now is to find a top doctor, and there are plenty. This decision is also one that comes with its own fill of anxiety, because you want to mitigate as much risk as possible. However I believe you need to aggregate some of the mentions from this forum and make a top 5 list, and from there just make a decision based on other factors personal to you. 3) Get healthier. If you don't like the feeling of your present hair loss, imagine what it would be like to suffer something life threatening. No excuses right now to cook healthy meals at home and workout at least 4x a week. It seems like a hair transplant gives a pretty good timeline as well. Within a years time, you could build some muscle, develop a skill and get your hair back.. in that time you'll feel renewed completely. Set the goals 4) and do yourself the favor of not looking in the mirror and phone camera every second. That shit is debilitating.

Amazon is just a distributor, look into seller and validate it. Where are you from that you can't buy nizaorl thats interesting? In Canada you could buy it at a wholesaler like costco and get 3 pack for like $20 or something. Also I would buy your supps from a health store, and get better brands.

I think the most important thing to note is that any potential sides you may experience, will subside with discontinuation. That should give anyone the piece of mind to try the medication and see how it works for them. Regardless its tolerated well by the majority of men. Give yourself a timeframe and honestly assess how its working for you. And as mentioned above, don't allow yourself to worry and make things up in your head as I'm sure a lot of guys do senselessly.

Yes likely to affect the industry in the coming months, as it will with much of the service industry in many countries. If Turkey, spain, belgium etc. were to get hit like Italy has, of course there will be lockdowns, cancellations and suspended flights. May be safer for people to postpone bookings for a couple of months to be safe with their deposits. My opinion anyway.

Yes its likely due to the Corona virus, many drugs including propecia may be harder to get as the majority of the world's pharmaceutical drugs are produced in China. I assume however it shouldn't be impossible to get especially in the UK, but would suggest stocking up a little more just incase or maybe even lowering your dose for the time being to extend the supply. Say 3x a week rather than once every day. Cheers
