  1. Yes we use dermoscope. We use 0.8-1.0mm, but the important thing is who is your surgeon. When we our doctors perform the punch they go slow and not too deep, when you go very deep it's much easier to punch but also over scarring the donor, a skilled doctor don't go too deep with patience, additionally our doctors create enough gap between every punch so we can do big sessions over 6000+ grafts (if it's a strong donor) without overharvesting it, this is what we show in this example. This is demonstration of Dr. Christina perform a punch procedure:
  2. Changes between every paitent, depends on type of hair, it's not only choosing the right diameter, the doctor should choose the correct head for the type of skin.
  3. Our price at HDC clinic is 2.4 - 2.2 Euros per graft, it includes our free accommodations next to the clinic and a driver for the airport, you're welcome welcome to contact me for consultation.
  4. You have a good strong donor area, 5-6k session demands that only a high skilled MD surgeon will do the punch and incisions, these amount of mega session grafts take 3 days of surgery without rushing anything. In 1 session you cover the frontal area and middle scalp, maybe touch a bit the NW5 zone. Maje sure, the clinic you choose use microscopes to divide the single grafts for natural look so you won't have a doll hairline that can't be reversed. I was botched badly by a hair mill in Turkey named Arenamed with horrific experience, they overharveste and scared my donor with 5000 grafts in one day only and overdosed me with anesthesia, then ambulance camd to rescue me. Years later I had 2 repair procedures by Dr. Maras at HDC clinic, I was lucky because not everyone can have a repair procedure.
  5. For estimation, you need to grow your especially the donor area, very hard to understand the potential when you shave it.
  6. In your case, it's better to consider meds right now, it's too for surgery.
  7. At HDC we can offer mega sessions of 5000-6000 grafts if needed for paitents with very strong healthy donor, to do this properly, we add 3rd day of surgery without rushing anything and yet to maintain the donor area without overharvesting the donor as for example you can see with this paitent recovery. We know the need for a patient to cover as much as possible for high Norwoods BUT still to preserve the donor for more procedures in the future if needed with minimum trauma. HDC has been doing FUE procedures since 2003 and always thrive to progress with new standards.
  8. @rayuk, at HDC both Dr. Maras and Dr. Christina have high experience with NW5-6 cases, additionally we specialize with making hair systems since 1989, so we know how to approach these cases. We're reccomended in this forum and you can see many of our reviews, if you interested you're welcome to contact me on WhatApp +972526542654 Check our Instagram: https://instagram.com/doronhairadvisor_hdc?igshid=Yzg5MTU1MDY=
  9. We usually don't accept paitents under age 28, only on some rare occasions we accept at ages 24-27. Either the young paitents have aggressive hairloss with potential to NW7 or it's too early, meaning the paitent must be NW3 - loose around 3cm of the hairline center so the frontal result will be homogenous (some cases we accept NW2 candidates around their 40's which you can see the DHT is stabled), if young paitent will do a procedure at stage NW1-2 the result will look uneven with 2 little horns at the temples without a hairline, I had many complaints from paitents that had procedures when they were teenagers or on their early 20's, these cases are very hard to repair and make realistic expectations with the paitent, this can really devastate a person without a question, my suggestion to young candidates to take their time and only do a research, don't waste your money and nerves on clinics that will take your money for their own benefits, a plastic surgery is for life you can't reverse it.
  10. symmetric hairlines are done usually by hair mills, it will create unnatural hairlines and waste more grafts than really needed. Asymmetric hairlines have incisions with zigzags which demand artistic skill by highly experienced surgeon. From my experience, lowest natural hair are around 5.0-5.5 cm from the eyebrows, I saw some very rare cases of Asians with 4.5cm height. Most cases it's NOT reccomend to lower the original height of the hairline, in some some special occasions you can lower it around 0.5-0.7 cm.
  11. It's a tough case, it will be hard to make exceptions, you can add single grafts to the hairline, which will make it better but not as if the 1st job was done right. In the future you'll be NW6 which can make the repair result to look thinner after few years (not by losing transplaned hair, only natural), I hope your sides head donor is good.
  12. You need also to share donor photos, I had 2 repairs and fortunately I have good donor on my head sides which the 1st clinic didn't touch.
  13. ISHRS can only verify that the surgeon has an M.D. diploma, but it doesn't supervise the quality of the protocol. Some members of ISHRS, ABHRS, FUE Europe, ect.. are only business owners that let the technicians do the surgical procedures: punch and incisions. Non of these associations give you garauntee of top notch work, even if the certified MD is the surgeon of your procedure. Those associations are meant to share information between the clinics to get more efficient. ABHRS make tests, but afterwards they don't supervise the surgeon or the clinic.
  14. NW4 with potential to NW6, your donor is very strong, also you got a lot of hair on the corridors over your top area, good candidate.
  15. Need measurement of your hairline to your eyebrows, around 2000-2500 grafts, how deep behind the hairline the surgeon can go without hurting natural hair, you can do both conservative or more youthful hairline.
  16. It's a matter of taste, especially with the hairline designs, some doctors prefer to do repairs and some less, some clinics prefer to do BHT from the whole body, some just from the beard, some do only scalp, some clinics do Afro procedures and others not, some more conservative and some tend to do with more experimental approach, some clinics do more than 5000+ grafts, some still prefer to do FUT over FUE, some clinics only accept paitents that use anti hairloss meds, ect... At the end It's a matter which results you like and approach of the clinic to your case.
  17. Thank you all for the kind words. The patient was coordinated by local coordinators and not by me, therefore I don't have his medical nor process info. Our job as coordinators is to follow up with the patient for the whole process, I suggest that if any issue is bothering the patient, he can contact us right away.
  18. @SY7 We're reccomend in this forum and experienced with NW6 paitents that have limited donor to make realistic expectations, additionally we do beard grafts if needed. Our price range is 2.4-2.2 Euros per graft which includes our free accommodations and driver that can fit your budget, for estimation you're welcome to contact me. I don't see any photos of your case, but if your donor is thin you can see this case as a reference: https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/67050-hair-transplant-result-10-months-after-–-5750-grafts-in-2-fue-sessions-dr-christina-–-hdc-hair-clinic/#comment-690261
  19. @Gobrel, I think on 1st procedure you can have around 3500 grafts (maybe more) to cover the frontal area with a little touch at the mid scalp, probably conservative hairline will be better, beard can be used on 2nd procedure for the crown, if you interested in evaluation you're welcome to pm.
  20. We're one of the reccomended clinics in this forum, you can read many reviews including our crown works. This is demonstration of crown jobs both by Dr. Maras and Dr. Christina at HDC clinic.
  21. Looks more around 2500 grafts job which I think you can harvest from your donor, the shaved hair cut makes it look thin, but I believe it's a healthy donor before making a detailed consultation. A great surgeon will preserve your donor without overharvesting, even in small sessions the donor can be overharveste and scarred if not approach properly.
