  1. Looking excellent and the best is yet to come! One question, did you remove the crust yourself or did they do it at the clinic? Did you use just water to soften the skin before the scab removal or did you apply shampoo? Thanks
  2. Hello Benny, I am in a similar situation and am considering having a procedure done with the same doctors you consulted. I also had a consultation with doctor Bircan who was very professional and clear about what could be done in my case. Have you made your choice? Feel free to write a message here on telegram on supermilano
  3. Good luck, I am sure you will be fine in a few months. Can I ask how much you paid for your HT?
  4. I am in a similar situation but haven't done smp jet. What doctors are you considering for a HT?
  5. Thank you all for your kind advice. I know I am a difficult case but I would be just happy to improve my current situation. Even with my severe hair loss, using toppik, I am able to look decent, although it is getting more and more difficult. If I cant have a decent coverage, I may decide to keep using toppik, or to go for a scalp pigmentation. I have asked Hattingen, Pinto and Zarev for a consultation. I am also considering Resul Yaman and Bicer. They both have some interesting track record with NW6s. Clearly, the result if a transplant is subjective and there is no guarantee of a positive outcome, but at least I want to choose a reputable doctor and avoid scams. That is why this forum is so valuable to me and any advice is welcome. Thanks again!
  6. Thanks for your advice. I have just started dutasteride 0.5 mg daily after been of finasteride for many years. I also use minoxidil 5% daily. I am not looking only at Turkey for my ht but I do not know any doctor that does FUE for high NW outside Turkey. I will check Hattingen as you adviced. I have seen good reviews of Resul Yaman. Can I ask you what is you opinion on this doctor? Thanks again.
  7. Hi everyone, I am new to this great forum and I would appreciate some advice. I am 50 y.o. an probably a NW6. For years have used toppik to conceal my hair loss and now I have decided to go for a hair transplant. I do not consider FUT as I could not shave my head in case the transplant goes wrong. I am looking for the best FUE doctor to deal with a complicated case like mine. I have seen some good reviews/cases of Resul Yaman (who I got a quote from for 4500 grafts ) and Bicer. Other doctors whose records I have seen on the internet are Cinik, Tayfun, Acar (Cosmedica) and HLC (Ankara). I am doing my own research but I would also appreciate some advice on the above mentioned doctors or on other surgeons who specialize in FUE for NW6. Did any of you have an HT starting from a situation similar to mine? Thanks
  8. I am considering having my ht done by dr Yaman. I am a NW 5/6 and I have seen that he has a good track record with difficult cases like mine. Based on the photos I sent him, he told me I coud have 4500 grafts. From what I have read online, he is a very skilled doc. Other Turkish doctors offered to do an HT with a lower number of grafts, ranging from 3000 to 4000. I believe that the advantage of having 2 HTs (spread by at least 1 year) is that, if something goes wrong with the 1st procedure, you can still rectify the issue. However, my donor is not that good and I may decide to do a mega session. Good luck to you!
