No, the hairmill defense of "Looked at all the people he didn't botch" is not an excuse to ignore corroborated evidence of poor medical practices by a doctor. My response to Melvin's reply in my original thread.
Doron Harati replied to Wallaby_Upstairs's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
@Melvin- Moderator helped me personally as a botched patient before I became coordinator and others that I know of without a profit, I have no doubts that with teamwork, the public will only benefit for the best. -
HT - does it make sense?
Doron Harati replied to j23's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
@j23 Seems you're NW5-6, you need to grow your hair for 2 weeks for more accurate estimation, apparently you'll need 2 sessions, a conservative hairline will help to get a better coverage on 1st session, 2nd can be done after 8-9 months to cover the crown and add touch up enhancements for the 1st procedure result. By the photos your top area scalp looks narrow and you have natural hair at the top corridors that will support the result of the transplanted hair, we need to exam better the quality of your donor. For a detailed review at HDC clinic you're welcome to contact me. -
How many grafts do I need in my crown?
Doron Harati replied to HappyMan2021's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Don't see a problem, wouldn't touch it -
I had 3 HTs, on my 1st HT I was botched badly by Arenamed clinic in Turkey which traumatized and destroyed my confidence, I was lucky I could have 2 repair procedures at HDC clinic by Dr. Maras and his team who brought and regained my confidence with these corrective good experiences, totally changed my life for good 🙂

Hair transplant to reduce forehead size?
Doron Harati replied to wavypaint's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
@wavypaint, 23 years old is way too early for HT procedure, DO NOT do a procedure right now, at this point you can take your time to do a detailed research. Most paitents we don't reccomend them to lower their original hairline, however we do some exceptions by lowering only around 1cm. -
I used after 3 months post result, my topical formula consists 5% Minoxidil and 1% Finasteride, HDC clinic product, no side effects, you can ask local pharmacist to make these for you.

Advice before HT - with photos
Doron Harati replied to TomKkat's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
You seem around NW5, maybe you'll be NW6, need to do more detailed diagnose, but you seem suitable candidate for HTs, maybe you'll need 2 procedures to preserve your donor, for 40+ years old your condition looks stable, beard may be used after checking the donor. -
Is manual extraction better?
Doron Harati replied to SoSoz's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
I had 3 HTs, 1st experience was horrific by hair mill Arenamed clinic in Turkey, they used motorized punch in brutal aggressive unprofessionally manner that you can imagine, they botched the hell out of my scalp, after I had 2 repair procedures at HDC clinic by Dr. Maras and his team, 1st repair was with manual punch and 2nd with motorized and I'm happy with both repairs, I posted my story on this forum and YouTube. The important factor is who is your surgeon, manual only is for hard curly hair especially for Afro procedures, requires very delicate and demanding job. -
"Crown HT needs less skill" - is this true?
Doron Harati replied to Yan bio's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Totally disagree, a certified and highly skilled surgeon will need to create accurate circulate shape pattern to give the best coverage illusion, many amateur jobs consist with random undefined pattern that won't give the correct illusion effect, crowns also need much triple and double grafts for high density, many hair mills and poor doctors don't save those grafts for crown procedure, buttom line there's no easy jobs, never compromise when it comes to cosmetic surgeries. -
Amazing 👍🏻

@Capt.hair when you testify a hair mill or clinic x do "the same procedure steps" as HDC, I understand you've been in both clinics for the whole procedures to compare... It's not the technique that matter, it's who is your surgeon that makes the real difference, I had my 1st horrific FUE by a hair mill in Turkey which I mentioned on my threads, then had 2 great repairs at HDC by Dr. Maras and his team, nothing was the same, from the anesthesia, punch, incisions, extractions and implanting. There's is no such a thing, that only a doctor do FUE procedure by himself, punch and extractions are the surgical parts that by law required to be done only by M.D surgeon, but it's also important that the M.D is very skilled, some of HDC technicians are working and certified since the clinic was found in 2003, our staff are posted on our site so the patient can know before we don't have some random unexperienced technicians, extractions and implanting by technicians are standard procedure that done by many professional clinics around Europe and USA, so I find this strange and odd that you specifically bashing HDC. Some countries like Turkey don't have federal enforcment over surgical procedures which encouraging black market clinics to not follow western standards protocols with unexperienced techs that do amateur job for cheap price. We have enough reviews with photos that we didn't choose to post only by paitents themselves...

Hair Norwood And Age
Doron Harati replied to HairEnthusiast101's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Somewhere around late 20's - early 30's (some occasions mid 20's), a doctor can predict what will be the final Norwood pattern of the paitent, usually yes NW7 potential you can see on early mid 20's paitents, meds usually used by NW2-5 and some NW6 to preserve the donor from diffused hair. -
How many grafts do I need?
Doron Harati replied to NN32's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
If it's not too soon, around 2000-2500 depends how deep the clinic can go, need more photos with measurements and hair comb backwards, but the hairline you posted is VERY unnatural, too low that touching your forehead muscle with women peaks frame. -
Getting a crown transplant
Doron Harati replied to manip's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Buzz cuts usually looks fuller, but as @Melvin- Moderatorsaid, it's better to take care first of frontal area in most cases, anti hairloss meds usually work best for the crown, it's only a suggestion but not must of HT. You need to grow hair 2 weeks for better HT exam consultation.
