    I tend to agree that crown results take longer to grow, though it's harder to create density covering effect, it can grow slower than the frontal area. My frontal area noticeably started to grow after 13 weeks, final result post 9 months, while my crown started after 22 weeks, final result post 12 months.

    Better if you can show photos including your donor. Probably you had a small session so the native has gone and not support to result like back in the day.

    How old are you? Back head donor looks good for now. Sides donor with possibility of Alopecia, better check with a dermatologist under microscopic diagnosis.

    Frontal area can start around 3-4 months, crown 5-6 months. When I had my frontal repair by Dr. Maras, it took around 100 days to see the first baby hairs.

    About the height we need measurement of your current hairline using a tape down to the eyebrows. Be aware that the peaks job are very hard task to executed correctly, must consist only single grafts and correct hair angles, not everyone are good candidates for peaks "close as possible for natural result".

    @mac187,you got an excellent donor, rich and thick! I think this revision job will take around 2000-2500 grafts, depends how low the new hairline will start from till how deep the procedure will be behind the hairline.     Great donor, need to check how deep you can have a procedure over the frontal area, need many single grafts to make your result homogenous with your existing hair.

    Will be helpful if you can share photos, also of the donor. I do reccomend you'll check with dermatologist if you have miniaturization hair, including the donor. There's also a chance you had natural hair that supported the result.

    Just pay attention if you have side effects from both meds. I had side effects from Propecia pills, so now I'm using topical mix formula of Finasteride and Minoxidil without side effects.

    Usually 2-4 weeks, the donor area recover faster than the recipient area. First growth on frontal recipient around 3-5 months, crown first growth can even start after 5 months post result due to lower blood pressure supply (which was also on my case).

    At HDC we do around 2500 grafts per day of surgery so we won't rush the process, usually most of our paitents do 2 days of surgery and mega sessions of 6000+ grafts (if possible without overharvesting) with 3 days of surgery.

    Definitely will need more grafts, but would define it as more "complicated"

    For age 24 your hairloss is aggressive, however your donor looks strong, do you have miniaturization over the donor in your family or everyone have a stable strong donor. You can try meds first, because it's hard to determine how the progress will continue, notice for side effects and do detailed research before approaching HT procedure due to your young age.
