USA like every Western country require by law that only an M.D can perform surgeries and anesthesia, it's illegal that a technician do it, technicians do the extractions and implanting since it's not surgical parts of the procedure.

We need more pictures, frontal and comb backwards. You need to be at least NW3 and loose at least 3cm of the hairline center, don't do temples only without center.

You'll need around 3000 up to 3500 grafts, will need to do more examination with measurements, donor looks good. Minoxidil and Finasteride can help to prevent some future hairloss, I prefer liquid Finasteride.

Depends how the job was done, beard grafts are harder to do than scalp donor, because the skin is softer which make the punch job more demanding.

You don't need HT yet and DO NOT lower your natural hairline.

You're Norwood 5, the back head donor looks good, sides donor need more diagnosis because it looks thin, depends also what your scalp measurements, the hairline you draw in red is too low, it will at take at least more 1000 grafts for that extra 1-2 cm.

Donor looks good for 2nd procedure, you may do procedure over frontal area, crown is maybe too soon and better wait for more hairloss progression.

Always make sure that the "doctor" has an MD, many countries like Turkey, Pakistan, Georgia, India can have only local paper with "doctor" entitled but not MD.

Zigzags finish are for natural result, but should be made in correct way.

@Jamos1982we need more photos for better estimation, but seems you have a great donor above the average with thick hair, I think you can cover the frontal and middle scalp with 4000-5000 grafts in total with 1 big session option, additionally your corridors have full thick hair with narrow scalp structure, definitely ideal to assist the HT result, great candidate 👍🏻

Never met or heard a surgeon state that. There's is few cases of a Caucasian blond candidates with very thick hair that will give impressive high density result, maybe these were the cases the surgeons, but never to say that all absolutely blond Caucasians are more than average candidate, a clinic must always give good reference results for every new candidate, dark skin can give extra coverage effect with black hair. This is example for a thick blond Caucasian candidate we had at HDC, he was NW6 and had 2 procedures with over 7000 grafts:

How old are you? Caucasian blond hair in general will give less coverage effect, seems you're now NW5 with a some thin hair over middle scalp with a future pattern for at least NW6, you need to grow your hair for better estimation, I think you might can have low density result, not all candidates want this. You also need to check you have enough donor for 2 procedures. I had 3 HTs, my 1st experience was horrible by a hair mill that botched me very badly and overharveste my donor, trust me you would care a lot it this would've happen to you, it sounds the doctor you checked was ethical and realistic with you, because there's many unethical doctors and cheap hair mills that will give you broken promises that will do it to get your money no matter what.

I myself was botched badly by a hair mill in Turkey, then after had 2 repair procedures by Dr. Maras, I was lucky because many botched paitents can't have repair procedures.

Do not do HT in a hair mill in Turkey, Afro procedure are tye most demanding with delicate approach with a lot of patience. *By your photos* I think it's too early for HT, never lower your natural hairline if it's not regressed.

When you comb your hair the hair is waving with some "wobbly" staggered pattern and not static appearance, most men have the staggering growth to the left, so a transplanted hair should be also transplanted in correct abglw to give better natural and coverage effect.

Natural hairline results have characteristics: - Hairline design under or touching the forehead muscle, many hair mills just do it over the muscle which waste at least 1000 grafts for unnatural aggressive hairline (it's also better save the triple and double grafts for crown procedures). - Natural design can youthful or conservative more round shape depends on paitents potential and wishes. - Correct hairline design is not enough, the MD must be high skilled surgeon to make the slits in a zigzags finish and not symmetrical. - Around the first 3 cm should be consistent with single grafts only for delicate natural appearance, if the clinic extra pedant, they'll pick the thinnest single grafts over the first row, to separate the single grafts the clinic must use microscopes, to rightly practice professional Micro grafts protocol, which cheap hair mills don't follow. - Implanting grafts must be correct so the growth will be at around 30 degrees angle (usually it's decided for a paitent to do 30), I saw many amateur jobs with 90 degrees growth 😵‍💫 - Most men natural growth is from the left to right, so the clinic need to adjust the correct point growth.

Grafts estimations most of the times are what you'll get in the procedure, in very few cases you may get more around 100-200 grafts, but sometimes a surgeon can't harvest as much as anticipated, for instance on my 2nd repair (had 3 HTs), I aimed for 3000 grafts, instead I had 2550 grafts due the complexity of my case with conservative approach, since I was botched terribly on my 1st procedure by a hair mill. In general most of the times you'll get what the clinic estimated.

Yes, I used pills many years ago but it hurt my libido, the topical has no side effects on me till now.

A good skilled surgeon can transplant between natural hair without demolish it if it's thin enough, I am talking from personal experience.

1% Finasteride mixed with 5% Minoxidil

Need more photos of donor area to check it's not diffused, I also think you should grow your hair to get more precise review, additionally you should check if you're suitable for 2 procedures.
