  1. 9 Month update The first photo is with no product. The next two are with Toppik and in different lighting. The last is what it looks like from the front obviously. How we looking for this far in?
  2. It cost 127,000 Thai baht. I can’t remember the exact cost per graft but it was very cheap for a doctor who only does one surgery a day and is very hand on. The clinic is fairly new so I’m sure prices will rise pretty quickly once they get their reputation going. I stayed around the corner in a cheap hotel in Bangkok for around $30 AUD/night. Yeah I didn’t realise how much area I had to cover until I saw the photos from above my head. Before that I actually thought my balding was minimum and had just begun. How wrong I was! I’m hoping to avoid a second surgery with the growth that’s still to come plus hair fibres. It’s looking alright from the front and sides, just a bit thin/fluffy still.
  3. If you started Finasteride after getting those transplant results, it could just be an initial shed which is completely normal when starting meds. I’m surprised the clinic couldn’t tell you this. Stay on the medication and wait another 6 months then judge the situation.
  4. Thanks Gatsby! That’s reassuring to hear. I was under the impression that majority of results would be known by 6 months with only small improvements in maturity and density of current hairs. Do more transplanted hairs actually start coming through after this point?
  5. Thanks. I do hope the mid and crown grows in more to prevent a second transplant.
  6. 6 Month Update. I’ve taken a few photos in different lighting. I was a pretty early grower, but hopefully more growth to come, especially around the mid/crown as I feel like it’s still lacking a bit. Thoughts?
  7. I was getting absolutely hammered on a weekly basis from around day 10 after my surgery and results looking good after 4 months. I think some of us are way too cautious when it comes to hair transplants. What you eat or drink isn’t going to dramatically affect your results.
  8. Had a FUE procedure 2.5 weeks ago and was sleeping on my side normally after 3-4 days.
  9. No idea what you’re worried about. The hairline design looks great and suits you.
  10. Yeah, we only had 3500 grafts to work with in the session and concentrated on the front third. My diffuse thinning was pretty bad so I expected the whole mid/crown area not to be densely packed. Hopefully once I grow it out again styling my curly hair in certain ways will be able to give illusion of density in those thin areas. Might use hair fibres as well. I wish Minoxidil didn’t give me side effects as I think that would really help my hair in that area with all the miniaturised hairs.
  11. You mean it looks like there’s more thin areas in the middle that need to be transplanted into? Keep in mind we only had 3500 grafts to work with in the session so had to distribute these in the most important areas first. A second surgery is a possibility down the line but I’m hoping with my curly hair, growing it longer will still give the illusion of solid density as it is.
  12. Just an update 10th day after surgery. How are the grafts and donor area looking?
  13. Just an update on 10th day after surgery. How is it all looking, grafts and donor area?
  14. Yeah, hopefully it stabilised my DHT and hair loss enough to prevent permanent shock loss. I still had a lot of miniaturised hairs.
