  1. Hi all, Bit of an update, I'm still having some doubts about my hair line and the shape of it. Appreciate all the comments I've had so far but to me it does look an odd shape for my face. It's not low in that it is 7.5cm from glabella but I do have a large head and it comes down quite a long way from the top of my head and is quite flat. I also don't like how it slopes downwards from the mid Central point to my temples when looking profile side on and it doesn't really match my temples that are quite receded. So overall, yes not too happy so far. I've been shaving the corners to give it a little bit of recession but in the long run I think having a few grafts removed could be the way to go. Hindsight I should have been more assertive with what I wanted, but I went with the Dr's design based on facial measurements and their experience
  2. Very true. I really thought it was what I wanted, I've been considering it for 10 years. Now I've had one, all I see if bald and balding men who have accepted it and shaved their heads, and I just want to be one of them. Grass is always greener eh
  3. I am considering something similar myself in the coming year but to a lesser scale, I just want to put some recession into my hairline to match my receded temples. I'd also consider Dr Edward Ball in the UK or I think Dr Lupanzula worked on Kyle Christie to remove a lot of his hairline grafts
  4. Thank you mate, I really appreciate your advice and suggestion. Yes it is particularly that side that bothers me. I did think about shaving it down just like you've drawn to give it a little bit of recession, not so flat as it joins the temples. So yeah perhaps I could do that for now and then look into getting a few grafts removed if I decided to in the future. They could be put into the crown or wherever. Thanks again for taking the time to give such a helpful reply
  5. Thanks mate. I just hugely regret this procedure and my mind is all over the place. I'm half tempted to just buzz it all off and hope that my donor isn't too depleted to enable it to be ok as an option. However I'll still have the hairline there visible in stubble that I so dislike
  6. Thanks, I have quite a large forehead but my hairline is basically as low as it has ever been in my life so that is what I am finding quite difficult. I have what I consider to be a flat and lowish hairline and a completely bald crown. I have been burned by this whole process and don't think I can do a second procedure for the crown and just want to shave and move on. But now I am worried about the fact I'll have a youthful hairline and empty crown which just looks completely unnatural. I've put myself into a really difficult position. Hence why I was inquiring about getting the transplanted hair lasered off. It isn't that common is it for a man to retain his hairline and have a bald crown?
  7. Yes. I just think the hairline looks too flat and low for my head shape. Even buzzing it will look completely different to how it would have been with my bald/receded forehead
  8. I stupidly went with their recommendation based on facial measurements. I said I think it's too low and they said it's where it's meant to be it'll look good. Plus the doctor didn't speak good English and the whole thing was rushed. I feel like I've ruined my life and there's no way to resolve the issue. I had a combover before and when they shaved it at the clinic it felt like a weight had lifted and I actually looked good. But then I was there and 20 minutes later they're extracting grafts from my head. I feel so full of regret it's really hard to deal with right now
  9. Hi all, Had a transplant 7 weeks ago that I already bitterly regret. The hairline is way too low and flat, completely incompatible with my age and level of hair loss. It is just going to look even worse as I get older (36 now). I have a norwood 1 hairline, receded temples and a huge bald crown - not a good look. The plan was previously to do a second procedure but I don't think I can face that now. I really wish I could turn back time to just be able to shave it all off and live with the bald look. Do I realistically have any good options? Is laser removal feasible? Electrolysis? I know I could have some punched out by FUE but really the hairline is quite a bit off from what I wanted so I'm not sure that would help. I can't have 4k grafts punched out. I had FUE so could potentially still shave it quite short all over but the issue with that is it might accentuate the shape of the hairline that I so dislike. I feel like such an idiot for going down this path. Grateful for any advice
  10. Thanks mate. I'm really struggling if I'm honest. Would do anything to turn back the clock to pre transplant. I feel such a sense of sadness and shame, and I hate the way it has turned out. I looked fine before, now I'm stuck with a hideous nw1 hairline that doesn't suit my face, temples or the fact my crown is bald. What an idiot. Best wishes to you as well mate.
  11. Does anyone else have a view on whether this is anything to be concerned about at this stage?
  12. Thanks @Berba11. Pleased to hear all looking good. I'm using aloe Vera gel on the recipient area a couple of times a day to try and help healing and the remaining redness
  13. Ok. Just my partner noticed earlier and said are there meant to be little divots where the hairs grow. I had my surgery at Fue Capilar. Dr Turan, who I think is forum recommended
  14. How long do you need to wait to know if it is in fact pitting? Attached before pic.
  15. Hi all, Pretty sure I have quite a bit of pitting in my recipient area but it's difficult to get a clear photo. Can anyone advise from the below? I am 6 weeks post Fue so is there a chance things will improve? It was dhi method of implantation if that makes a difference? My feelings about this procedure just go from bad to worse. Thanks
