  1. I don’t post too much but lurk a lot and based on what I have been reading around here, get ready for certain individuals to tell you that your hairline is not bad, looks good, that you have unrealistic expectations and all because it was done by Erdogan.
  2. Demirsoy is soo good. I just recently heard his name and truly believe he is moderately underrated.
  3. It continues to shed though. If I touch it even mildly, I see a couple fall out. So I suspect in the next couple of weeks rest will fall out. I feel like it isn’t growing fast enough, ha! I just take my daily vitamins and 10,000mcg biotin a day. That’s it. Oh I am also on proscar, but doubt that makes hair grow faster.
  4. Not to hijack and excuse my ignorance on the topic please, but what really causes for poor growth? Or failed procedure? I mean, these doctors transplant hairs every single day, so I am assuming it’s business as usual with each patient. Same procedures and protocols. What’s causing some of these failed procedures? could it be just the person, genetically not responding well to the procedure? Or maybe post HT care was improper and the person was negligent? When it comes to doctor error, It makes sense to me that hairline maybe all messed up, off, not natural, etc. it makes sense that placement isn’t as dense as some others. But growth? How is that doctor’s fault? What would a doctor have to mess up on to yield very poor growth? anyways, you get the idea. thanks
  5. Keser is soo good and this thread shows it. He told me I needed about 1500 grafts based on my video and photos and I ended up getting like 2850 with Doganay. Erdogan also said I needed about 2500. I wonder how that all works. Anyways, phenomenal work Bub! 🤘
  6. How about get another hair transplant done but have some single hairs planted up front to create a more natural appearance?
  7. Thank you sir. Fingers are crossed for that. I look forward to having long hair again. To answer your question, negative.
  8. post a before pic, clearer pics so people can better help you. i can kinda see what you are talking about but still can’t tell.
  9. Ha! Yup, that’s precisely it. It’s mandatory for us to wear it out of our vehicles. Like here. Oh and I mean business every time. Then I get to go home and take the damn thing off and cry looking at my ugly duckling in silence lol.
  10. True! I agree. I am 3 weeks in now. I think day 20? 21? i am scared to wash my hair like I normally do so they don’t fall out ha! Once my hair grows a bit, I am gonna nerd it out and push it forward with a killer bang style cut and call it a day. Can you say dumb and dumber? Lol. I wear a cover at work and throw a ball cap on when not working and I am set
  11. I notice it and my buddy told me he could see it yesterday. I mean it is what it is, but it wouldn’t be fun without complaining a bit right? Ha! And to answer to your question, negative.
  12. Say hello to my little friend.. his name is Ugly Duckling ? started to shed and you can clearly see it. I honestly just now noticed it... I hope to keep whatever is on there, but that isn’t gonna happen. This whole hairline repair thing seem to suck more. Hairline looks worse than it did before. I mean much easier for people to notice. Or maybe it’s in my head.
  13. $2200? Is that business class? I am pretty sure you can get tickets there easily under 1k at this time of year.
  14. Wow!! Demirsoy did an incredible job! I was super impressed with your day 1 pics of the recipient area. It looked amazing. One can only hope for results that you got. so far demirsoy seems like one of the best choices out there. Best bang for the buck.
  15. No insult was intended, my apologies there. Agreed with rest. Enjoy your night sir. Cheers!
  16. Melvin, I am new here but if someone isn’t happy about their experience with a specific surgeon, they should be able to voice that out whenever they want. Now if someone doesn’t have any experience with a specific surgeon and just trashing them, then I would agree, that wouldn’t be fair. I hope that your promise of banning the above subject isn’t because he is bashing asmed, but it is because he has no experience with asmed and bashing them. I would hope that someone with negative experience bashing asmed wouldn’t face with a similar consequence. I have seen so much hate against Doganay and nobody moves a finger or threatened to be banned. I get that some people didn’t have good experiences with him, but I am talking about a ton of people who never engaged in any transaction with them talk all the trash in the world and all is well. I don’t expect democracy on an online forum, and whether we get it or not is another story, but gotta be fair across he board. i understand it takes cash to run this forum the way it is intended and that approved surgeons contribute to this cash flow and them remaining approved is a vital thing for this forums operation, which undoubtedly creates bias. I get it, no judgements there, but if I am unhappy with my experience with them, I should be able to speak that whenever I please. Now I would like to stress, those who have no experience with a surgeon or clinic, shouldn’t be able to go out there and try and ruin the reputation of such clinic. They should move on and find themselves another doctor. I personally had a positive experience with ASMED, my only experience with them is communication and it was fine. I can only speak upto that point. Anything beyond that, I have no room to speak. -k
  17. Day 15 and hairs are starting to shed. I was hoping to be the exception to this rule lol. some of you folks can pull this buzzed head look pretty good. I was just not molded that way... so, am I looking on par for a post op day 15? Thanks!
  18. This thread made me sick to my stomach! Now I am scared of my hair transplant!!!
  19. Folks, I had a great experience with Dr. Doganay, so my recommendation would be him. Well he is my only experience, so I can’t really talk about anyone else. Dr. Doganay did not do the extractions and honestly I wasn’t happy about that. But, I knew that going in, so I guess I can’t complain, but is there any doc out there does his own extractions nowadays? I mean we select certain surgeons for a reason and expect the work to be done by them. Anyways, I trusted his team and it ended up being great, but Noway in hell I would agree someone else doing the implantation as that is pretty much where the true skill is needed. So, Dr. Doganay did all the implantations for me. Upto this point, I am happy with the way things are. I will continue to share my experience with you guys and we will see how things turn out. I hope it just gets better from here. As for Erdogan, he yields great results from what I see. However, my biggest reason not choosing him was because all he does is the incisions (someone correct me if I am wrong, but that’s what I read online). So the team extracts and implants the hairs. I don’t know about you but I felt uneasy about that. However, results seem good, so they are doing something right. It appears pretty much most HT surgeons follow similar exercise. Also operating on multiple people a day doesn’t sound so practical to me. I m sure it yields in some nice $$ though. HT is Such a delicate procedure, I feel like a couple persons a day should be max before calling it for the day. But that wouldn’t make any sense in accounting perspective. I would hate to be the 4th guy after doctor pretty much blinded and fatigued himself with the other 3.
  20. Not to hijack this thread but could someone educate me on why implanted hair wouldn’t grow? Like, what would the clinic mess up that would yield in those transplanted hairs simply die and never grow? Thanks
