  1. Yes they were the clinic I was initially planning on going with, but then COVID happened and the border closed.
  2. i called H&W the other day and they said they're booking for May 2022 now
  3. it’s honestly driving me insane because each day it gets worse and worse. and i’m just waiting for that day where it starts to turn back around. i don’t feel great
  4. i’m going through a weird phase right now. since April i have been shedding hair, probably native, and it’s deteriorated my result. i’m on fin, and i have had these shedding seasons before. it was solid in april/may. i’d say a 7 or 8 out of 10 in terms of satisfaction. but now it’s like at a 4. i’m waiting to see if it rebounds
  5. anyone know how often he is in the states? Dr. Mwamba also.. am I looking at the correct website for him? it’s orange
  6. will post some pics hopefully soon. sorry for the delay
  7. Will it change color like tattoos? No. Scalp micropigmentation is a form of permanent cosmetics, but unlike tattoo ink, the Scalp Micro USA pigment is designed to fall within the same color spectrum of short cut hair. The pigment contains no additional colorants or additives and will only lighten, not discolor over an extended time. Scalp micropigmentation also utilizes different equipment than traditional tattooing, ensuring the needle and machine are designed specifically for micropigmentation of the scalp. Will Scalp Micropigmentation work with gray hair? Yes, those with gray hair can still benefit from the scalp micropigmentation procedure. First, most clients are recommended to cut their hair to a short buzzed length. When this is done, gray hair does not appear as gray because the hair root itself is darker. Hair only shows gray as it gets longer. Second, we use a gray-scale pigment that can be adjusted in shade to blend with lighter hair tones. We simply create a lighter dilution for blending into the existing gray hairs.
  8. there is no correlation between FUE/FUT and no shave for the recipient. you can not shave your recipient for either method. it solely has to do with how easy you want to make it for your surgeon
  9. can you elaborate on this? “I could no longer do FUT because of excessive scarring”
  10. i would wait a few days to see the swelling go down. my ears were slanted a few days after due to the swelling but they returned to normal haha. on the other hand... I've never seen grafts placed that far down the sideburns. was that requested of you...?
  11. what evidence or tests did you have done that finasteride is effecting your sperm. if you dont mind sharing? I've been told multiple times finasteride doesnt effect fertility in men
  12. took down the 6.5 month pics cause they were pretty bad resolution and quality. I just crossed 7 months. will post an update soon
  13. how does someone implant that 6 graft grouping? they're all at different heights. implanting it as a full grouping of 6 would mean 3 bulbs are a significant amount below the other 3 bulbs
  14. you can definitely start lightly massaging them at 7 days post op. most importantly you need to keep that area clean from here on out
  15. honestly I was the same way (sort of). i had been researching for 3 years. had a wild ride with finasteride. then the lockdowns started and I just decided and said fuck it. I'm tired of waiting, not doing anything, and just living life like this. I pulled the trigger and just crossed 7 months and have a good result. Only thing I still get anxious about is having a FUT scar across my head. questions like "what if I lose all my hair when I'm older", "what will I look like when I'm 60, 70, 80". I'll cross that bridge when I get there. are you looking into FUE or FUT? FUE with H&W.... I wouldn't worry about a damn thing
  16. its also going to be less red as you go on, making it look like "less"
