  1. yes its normal. they start to mature as the months go on. usually closer to a full year however
  2. thats very good for a 5 month man. cant wait to see the final result! please keep us posted.
  3. congrats Melvin. will be following. can you give a quick recap of your previous surgeries again? i know its probably somewhere in the forum but just a quick blurb like: 1st HT: 2000 grafts by Diep (Hairline) 2nd HT: 3000 grafts by Diep (midscalp)
  4. coming up on 2 months post op. hoping you can log back on and give us an update! would like to see the grafts in the scar tissue. Thanks
  5. is this only topical finasteride? or is dutasteride is included? I'm gonna try to watch it all but we'll see
  6. Your hair transplant could end up less dense than your hair behind it, (it most certainly will be less dense) and it would look unnatural and add to the insecurity.
  7. I'd suggest you hold off on getting a hair transplant, and I think others will agree with me. You have a good head of hair, and like you said its thick. Get on finasteride and hold onto as much as you can, while you can. You are still very young and could potentially lose more hair, and you'll be chasing that lowered hairline the rest of your 20s
  8. I officially ordered my Strut dut topical formula (the liquid version, not gel version). I didn't get it with minox or any of that other stuff. just .1% dut will let you guys know how it goes. hopefully this shit is legit and doesnt burn my scalp off. will mostly be applying it in on my crown and midscalp
  9. hows everything looking after a week? very interested to see the grafts in the scar tissue
  10. elon can take us to space, he is willing to sell 6billion worth of stock to 'cure world hunger', but yet we cant convince him to solve hair follicle replication... *sigh*
  11. any thoughts on the below? it looks like atlanta surgeries are done by his colleague. does anyone feel differently about this? Head surgeon: Dr Truett Bridges Training and supervision: Dr Patrick Mwamba Dates available: Please contact the Atlanta office for next available dates.
  12. will be following. thanks for sharing your journey! I am very interested in seeing how the grafts grow in the FUT scar. I will be planning something similar in the future
  13. i think either will be fine. I'd lean more towards the higher one, just for the sake of it will look more natural as you age. you're going to love either transformation
  14. you also need to allow the hairs to grow to a length that is similar to your native hair. that will give a better representation of the result
  15. my personal opinion, for someone having went FUT as well and have a very similar scar to yours, I am leaning FUE for future procedures and taking the tradeoff of putting 300-500 grafts in my scar using beard and scalp FUE.
  16. just curious, did Dr. K provide any feedback with which way he would go?
  17. @Office of Dr. Wesley I was browsing your website and came across your "scarless surgery" section. I watched the videos, and while they seem outdated, I was wondering if there is any update(s) to "piloscopy" and the advancements of this technique. Thanks
  18. I had trouble/questions regarding wiring the money to FUE CLINIC so i sent them an email. "Joshua" said they are only taking credit cards now and to please email this other email address. this whole thing seems sketchy lol. seems like strut is trying to be like a HIMS? website looks much more legit
