  1. I somehow missed this thread. Interested to see your future progress!
  2. Wow! You barely needed a transplant. 29 years old, fin for 8 years, you've almost a full head of thick hair. I wonder how your hair would have looked today if you didn't take fin for 8 years... maybe the same? If so you got strong hair genetics. If not? Then bless that fin.
  3. Can anybody explain what this is? https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=8&v=EStoMSsZfM8
  4. Keep us updated. Why did you get off fin in order to start a family? Can fin have negative effects in such situations?
  5. Thanks for the daily pics. Dont stop now! Do you think you're still shedding or if not when do you feel the shed stopped?
  6. Keep us posted with monthly updates! Also is it just me or were some grafts extracted a little high i.e. outside of the safe zone? (pic #4)
  7. Tbf it's looking on track. I'd also be curious to see your final results months later.
  8. Can you post pics of your donor area immediately post-op?
  9. Good for publishing his name. Hopefully anybody considering a procedure with this clinic will catch your posts. The fact that he offered '100 more grafts at no cost to fix it' is an insult to his own practice. 100 grafts is about the size of an eyebrow. It's completely offensive, completely talking out his ass. You said that 'he simply checked my scalp after the techs did their work' so what did he actually do then? And what made you initially go to him, just for the convenience and cost?
  10. ^The above user suggested SMP into the donor which I agree is a possible route you may consider. Again, he also suggested growing the donor out just to see how it looks, which I too agree with. It seems that the skin was almost ruptured during the extraction process. Can you post immediate post-op pics of your donor area?
  11. Keep us posted. Seems you didn't get much scabs forming post OP?
  12. Can you post pics of what this looks like for reference?
  13. We can't advise you since you didn't mention how long you've been losing hair for. We don't know how aggressive your hair loss has been nor what your hair used to look like. We also don't know if you're on any preventative meds such a fin and if so, for how long. Without knowing anything, the standard answer is that nobody knows if/when your hairloss will stabilize, therefore you'll need to consider the long term and assume that you'll lose more. Which means that hairline is too low and your expectations may be unrealistic. If you can, do more research.
  14. You can tell this will be a good result. OP can you keep this thread updated every 1-2 months? And what's the size of the slit into your recipient area and size of the punch into your donor?
  15. Yeah keep us updated because the post OP pics look to be fine and decently packed? What was the punch size into your donor btw?
  16. Very impressive work. You basically completely reversed your hair loss in one procedure.
  17. Do you have immediate post OP pics and immediate post OP pics of your donor?
  18. I was wondering what the general opinion was with soaking your head in warm water (when you take a bath for example) to help with the scabbing and general healing process of the recipient area, within 1 week post OP? Appreciate any comments.
  19. Any updates? The quality of your post op pics is poor (no flash and you didn't upload the other side of your temples) but the graft packing didn't seem that sparse?
