  1. The redness/scarring is also still visible in the recipient.
  2. Thanks for the update. I guess its hard to tell with those shots but in 2 of the picuters, the hairline looks a little harsh. Hopefully the hair texture evens out. Seems your recipient is still red after 6 months?
  3. I'll say this, for your benefit and hopefully a shift in prospective, but why would you go to the same surgeon after this? You shouldn't have a HT out of pure convenience. If the right surgeon isn't close, you need to travel. There's a reason why people travel worldwide for their operation. This is your hair and grafts we're talking about, the latter of which is limited.
  4. Wow, did we have our HTs on exactly the same day (Dec 20th)? Can you share immediate post OP pics? Not trying to be a downer but the hairline work doesn't look very good (lack of density + pluggy appearance due to several multi FUs at the hairline).
  5. This is fascinating. The beard extraction looks painful! But I guess it wasn't? For using beard as the donor, can't the surgeon extract literally every hair (leaving with you no beard after). If the patient wanted it, could it be done?
  6. Have to wait until the 1 year mark. I find it interesting because there's a clear gap between the native hair and transplanted area. You're probably not gonna buzz your hair so I think it'll be undetectable when the hair grows. But i've never seen this design before. Is it something the surgeon recommended to save your graft count or did you decide on this design?
  7. Wow that's crazy. The area you had done looked so much bigger in the first post.
  8. Wow, is it just me or does your hair (not just the transplanted but the native) grow extremely fast for only 6 months?
  9. Can you post the same comparison pic for your left temple as well? But this is looking good for 1700 grafts. Trying to gauge how big/small the area you had done actually is.
  10. It's been some months, any update?
  11. Right on time with your 4 month update. How much would you say the overall growth is now, 30-40% or so?
  12. Echoing what others have said I think it's starting to take shape for sure. Post more pics at months 5 and 6.
  13. Hi, what did your recipient area look like at months 3, 4, 5 and 6? I noticed you only posted pics from months 8 onwards but what about before? Reason I'm is asking is so we can gauge the differences in growth during these months compared to your month 8. Did you notice continued growth up until months 4 or 5 and then no improvements or was your hair at month 8 exactly the same as it was at month 4? Can you post pics of your recipient area prior to month 8?
  14. Yes true. I was just wondering if anybody else noticed the same thing during their hair transplant journey? I've not seen any other mention of this anywhere online either.
  15. Hi Dr. Yes thank you, you describe it well. Is this a common occurrence during the HT process, or rather did you get a lot of similar comments from your patients?
  16. So when I run the shower head over my scalp and soak my hair under the water, my hair looks thick as the water is running on it (presumably due to the water pressure pushing the hair down). But when dry the recipient area looks a lot less dense. Is this normal during the overall HT journey and did anybody notice the same?
  17. Does your hair look thicker when wet, more so than when it's dry? (i.e. when you're soaking the top of your scalp from the shower head)
  18. I posted on day 53 and your hair has reached a good length and has gotten thicker in just over 2 months since then. I've 2 questions: 1. In your opinion do you think your hair will thicken up even more after 4 months? 2. Does your hair look thicker in the shower or when submerged in water (when the water stream pushes your hair down)? Or did you ever experience this at any point within the first 4 months?
