  1. @Cardin1977 Thank you and I am! I'm 31 and on Finasteride and use Rogaine daily
  2. Just be proactive and look into it sooner rather than later. I know I wish I did
  3. That picture looks great. If you're really concerned, you can email a surgeon recommended here and see what they have to say and also if Finasteride is in your future
  4. It looks good but the overexposure makes it really hard to tell. Your whorl looks like its expanding out a bit. Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to your hair. Are you on/using anything now?
  5. Do you have pictures with different angles & lighting?
  6. I've gone through this same thing. Having my hairline first and then crown, both FUT. I'd recommend using Lidocaine to cover where the stitches are to keep the area moist and also pain free. He's fortunate he didn't have to have staples like I did, those things are really uncomfortable.
  7. @Melvin-Moderator Awesome job on putting this together! Honored to be apart of this video and hope this will be a great resource for many people considering surgery.
  8. He's very well respected and with having healed quickly, I don't see why you couldn't have another great result.
  9. I've had 2 FUT procedures and don't notice any difference from the first. How did your body heal after the first one?
  10. Amazing job editing this video and awesome to see my post in there as well! The difference between the 2 is night and day. Is the first "surgeon" still operating to this day?
  11. Love the idea Melvin. Great way to drive transparency, education and be realistic about what can be achieved. Great exposure to this forum as well.
  12. @Tao Much appreciated! Glad this could be of benefit to you and hopefully you start to see the amazing results soon!
  13. I would think 2 as well. If you aren't on Finasteride and Rogaine, I would start
  14. Thank you He did mention it would take longer to come in which I knew as the crown is the slowest to grow. So I expected 12-18 months though I'm very happy with the progress I'm making currently and know the year mark for me will arrive soon enough
  15. Patience with the healing process and growing. It takes time and more time for some of us. Adequately plan your recovery plan with work and find out if you're able to wear a hat etc. It's awkward but you'll look back and realize it was a small sacrifice to gain confidence and appearance.
  16. As having 2 transplants with Konior, I would say 100% him. He has a meticulous attention to detail and produces amazing natural results. The healing process has been very quick with minimal pain. Feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions
  17. You should definitely do that test to see! She has nothing to worry about with the quarantine and shelter in place rules right now lol.
  18. This is a great topic Melvin. For me personally, it had a huge effect on my confidence. I think in part with dating in a large city like Chicago, it's a "competitive market" so you want to be on your A game as far as appearance is concerned. Like others have stated, dress and personality are things I used to compensate and did find some success with it. Though after my transplants, my confidence has gone way up and there has definitely been more matches for sure. I think it's a case by case basis with some guys who don't mind shaving their heads versus us who seek a full head of hair. Personally hearing when something compliments me on my hair or facial features as a result of the illusion of how you're face is more well framed is priceless to me.
  19. Correct, just wanted to highlight the crown. I was going to include how I looked before any surgery at the 1 year mark to give a good comparison
