  1. I'd say from 1500-2000. Other points are factors like which method, surgeons talent level etc
  2. Excellent points Melvin. I would also include the surgeon's expertise and their overall attitude to their approach. Some can be very bullheaded and stubborn with what they want to do but they also must be receptive to the patient's wants/needs and be able to educate. Some also are good at specific methods like doing just FUT, FUE, hairline, crown etc. Goes back to your first point on results but I often feel like a lot of people just assume all surgeons have the same capabilities of wherever the hair is being placed.
  3. https://hassonandwong.com/timeline/stages-of-hair-transplant-growth/ Looking at these pictures should help you understand the speed at which transplanted hair grows
  4. That's one month post op... The point of these threads is to review the responses of each contributor which would help you follow the timeline.
  5. @Maximilian You must be new. Those pictures are 1 month post op. That's excellent progress for such a short period of growth time in the most challenging area to regrow hair.
  6. Your girlfriend is a keeper for having talked you out of it originally. Save your money and enjoy.
  7. Looks awesome! It's going to be so dense in a few months
  8. @giegnosiganoe I would say so yes. The hairs do need a little bit of taming but I really don't use any product so fortunately they lay well in the natural whorl. @asterix0 Definitely was! The crown is the most difficult part to transplant so you really want to make sure your surgeon is able to provide you the most natural looking result
  9. @aaron1234 Thank you! I anticipated at least 12-18 months is when you start to see a significant growth.development. I was extremely fortunate for mine to come in much earlier than then the norm and what I had anticipated.
  10. @E39 Haha thanks. Hard to with Quarantine but doing my best
  11. @E39 Thank you! I don't know the exact size in terms of sq cm but it was about the size of my palm
  12. Awesome job with your transparency on this. Patience really is a virtue.
  13. @giegnosiganoe Different people have different priorities. Do you have pictures from your transplant journey posted on here? It's to show the result in it's entirety when the crown is more mature.
  14. @giegnosiganoe Not really. As mentioned in this thread, I'll post pictures once I'm at the 12 & 16 month mark, I did yes
  15. 100% worth it. I have had 2 surgeries and from the consultation to aftercare, there is consistent communication. Remember, he only does 1 surgery a day so he's not rushing to get to the next person. The level of detail and passion he has is what you want in a surgeon
  16. @yesplease Thank you and I definitely am! No issues with the scar at all
  17. Have you had success with your current regimen as far as stopping the loss? I don't think it looks bad by any means as you could style it and would look fine. Have you consulted with a doctor yet?
  18. Awesome username Can you add in some pictures? Are you on any medication/treatments currently?
  19. It looks great overall and you have density that anyone would envy. How does it look from the side?
