  1. He went to RESTORE. It's so obnoxious how the pictures and billboards are plastered all over Chicagoland. They're a hair mill so stay clear. Here's a lawsuit he won against Dr Glenn Charles: https://www.yahoo.com/video/nfl-legend-brian-urlacher-settles-181055555.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAFSKxT2x31_ALaBEAzYtH0ljqgCWwwTGnxYcGLp7pBrnrJyO4QTXCkNL8CJ_IhO5Nd5p7t2HF053rfPV3v_mTSChYf8yRGY1cVcF0-3HwjmDIPylSB3tLswFQTcrHCUYkBrT1CyFmjYSB9GfCQwvafOUnFAEU9RzW0QKtPX26sgB
  2. Was it someone in your HR department? They shouldn't have a job if they told you'd qualify for having a cosmetic/elective procedure. It's pretty scummy they would encourage you to do so as it makes a lot harder for those who have actual medical issues/hardships to qualify.
  3. It's supply and demand. There's a reason why there's a waiting list for a lot of doctors that are a year plus out. You can't fault them for charging what they charge if they have a steady stream of clientele and produce excellent results. Medical school isn't cheap. Nor is the operating costs of their practice to staff quality techs, insurance, physical location, supplies etc. Can't fault them for going into an in-demand field and capitalizing on the opportunity.
  4. It's common practice to search on a forum before asking a question. How many times can "finasteride vs dutasteride", "FUE vs FUT", "who is the best surgeon for the absolute cheapest price" be answered?
  5. Can we also crack down on duplicate or repeated questions? It's really annoying to see the same questions asked over and over when it's already been discussed at length or there's an answer/solution. Not to mention it's probably just taking up extra space to manage.
  6. "Had a hair transplant with Dr. Friedman who is a well respected physician in the community however is very money hungry and sadly is reflected in his practice." That's enough information there to know it's a place not to go to
  7. Ask your doctor this. They're more qualified to answer this than the majority of us
  8. He mentioned in a previous Q&A with @Melvin- Moderator that H&W are the ones to go for megasessions.
  9. I went to Konior and he's done my hairline, crown and midscalp which I can't recommend him enough. As others have said, your loss is minimal and most doctors would recommend waiting to see if that area develops further loss in the future. You can always reach out for virtual consults and send pictures to see if you're a qualified candidate or not.
  10. Consult with different surgeons and hear their opinions. I had mine done at 30 with no issues.
  11. Multivitamins and Biotin. Healthy lifestyle helps as well
  12. https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/Consult-a-Physician/hair-transplant-surgeons.asp?sr=HRN Please see the recommended list
  13. I support anything that reduces the number of redundant questions asked over and over again.
  14. You'll need to post pictures but you really should contact him and ask for his opinion as he'll be able to write you a prescription. It's suspect you're not on Finasteride already as that's something he discusses with patients. Roman and Hims are both good delivery services for products like that.
  15. If you're really concerned, you need to contact your doctor who can evaluate you and have you go into their office.
  16. You need to do research on the differences of FUT/FUE, provide pictures and consult with several doctors.
  17. It's never a good idea to be your own pharmacist. Talk with a medical professional about taking finasteride to see if you could take it or not.
  18. Congrats Melvin! Very exciting time for you and the Mrs. Can't wait to see your crown journey. Definitely need more of those documented here.
  19. FUT or FUE? Have you consulted with any of them yet? Do you have pictures to share? Goals on what you want to achieve? There's too many unknowns currently to make a fair assessment.
  20. Very sad and so preventable. The fact that these clinics advertise and operate like it's as simple as getting your haircut is awful.
  21. Looks awesome and can't wait to see your result. Any before pictures you can provide? I know you mentioned not taking anything specifically beforehand.
  22. What's wrong Drake? Was that not "God's Plan"? Better take your "Money in the Grave" to get a restoration.
