  1. @LonelyGraft I do. Click on the first page and you'll see the before picture
  2. @Melvin-Moderator Thank you! I've been extremely fortunate for sure. It's going to be awesome when I go back to work and see if it makes anyone do a double take
  3. I think it will start to be more of a thing in the near future for women to do. Wigs have been so popular for years that I feel like now with how advanced the practice has been for men, that women will become more curious as well. Granted I think with wigs or having a multitude of hair style to cover a receding hairline is a huge benefit for them to have. It's something I feel like won't be left off the table. There just needs to be more marketing and ads of women, encouraging other women to undergo the surgery.
  4. I also haven't used shampoo in several years and have noticed a big difference in how my hair feels. A lot less oily/greasy and just feels more natural. I've wondered if certain shampoos did more harm than good.
  5. @JayLDD Couldn't agree more, pictures speak for themselves
  6. @Damifino Don't worry, I haven't forgot about this thread. I'll be updating monthly when my schedule allows so I appreciate your patience
  7. @Melvin-Moderator Thank you for your full transparency as always. This is critical to have with your role in this forum in helping others decide what is best for them before deciding to make the leap to surgery.
  8. @Melvin-Moderator I was thinking I did as well but keeping my eye on the prize knowing that each month I've been improving that much more
  9. @1978matt Boredom after your third one? I'm glad mine can bring you joy lol
  10. This is really exciting! Hopefully becomes available on the market soon https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2020/01/28/1976385/0/en/Conatus-Pharmaceuticals-and-Histogen-Enter-into-Definitive-Merger-Agreement.html
  11. Very glad to hear there was a happy ending to this story and that the patient is doing well.. Just goes to show that you need to research heavily and realize that if it sounds too good to be true, than it is. Hopefully this leads to the so called "doctor" being arrested and losing his medical license.
  12. I've had 2 FUT surgeries and I took off/worked from home for at least 1 week afterwards Like you I also work in an office setting and talked with my manager or HR to let them know that I would be needing to wear a hat due to a recent procedure. From there, they shouldn't ask too many questions due to legalities
  13. Look's great Matt! Glad we both got our crown's done around the same time to watch each other's progress. It never ceases to amaze me how clean the postop work is.Here's to hoping the third time is a charm for you!
  14. I wouldn't go to him if he offered to do the surgery for free: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2852464/Hair-transplant-doctor-stars-loses-medical-license-declaring-reincarnation-Jesus-Christ.html
  15. I felt the same way you did about not seeing a lot of before/after pictures of the crown so I've started a timeline of my own journey for others to follow (see below). You've picked some good names but I would also to say make sure you're doing a consult with each doctor to understand their methods and what they would feel would be in your best interest to do as far as FUT/FUE, number of grafts etc
  16. This is extremely sad. Hopefully this brings to the light that there needs to be a higher levels of industry standards across the board. This site should be able to continue offering advice to those unfamiliar with the surgery, physicians and proper ways of operating. The biggest takeaways from this are that if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. No ethical physician would ever attempt 9,000 grafts because it's not realistic. It sounds like this patient was promised the "magic wand solution". Please educate yourself on the physician, their practice and methods of operation. In doing so, it can literally save your life.
  17. I had my hairline done with Dr. Konior 3 years ago and my crown done in October. What he's able to do with less than 2500 grafts is amazing and you'll be very pleased with how natural of a result you'll get.
  18. It takes a big person to admit their mistakes and it goes to show that "ignorance isn't bliss". Hopefully this can teach many a lesson about the purpose of this forum and that we're all in this together. That shirt is 🔥 by the way
  19. What's your goal? What are you looking to achieve? You should never let cost be the sole deciding factor as this is something that will permanently effect you in either a positive or negative way.
