  1. I would choose 1 day as well. I found day 2 to be very difficult mentally and physically. The recovery time I experienced from a 1 day surgery to a 2 day was massive.
  2. She did 23 incisions just to clear up your inaccurate statement. Dr Erdogan did 2500 incisions but I had 23 surplus grafts.
  3. A million times better from where you started and when styled it looks brilliant but I agree when pushed back it looks a little thin. You didn't just have a hairline case though and you did have 3000 over 70 cm2 which is about 40 grafts per cm2. Saying that I still think you should have had a bit more density in the hair line than what you ended up with. Pass them across to Asmed and see what they think? You did have quite a lot of miniaturization in the recipient area. Are you on Fin? From my own experience I was only able to pull off the side combed look following my first procedure as well. I had 3200 grafts into the same region as you.
  4. Couldn't agree more. I wouldn't have gone ahead with my procedure if it wasn't Dr Erdogan making the incisions.
  5. Because there isn't much that any negative posters can respond to that. Everything he has said is honest. He is completely open with his methods and processes they follow. What more of a response could you ask for? He does everything he can to assure a great result and experience. I take my hat off to him for replying in such a detailed manner.
  6. 3 Weeks Post Op So at exactly the same stage as last time I have started to shed over the past two days. Seeing maybe 30-40 hairs in my hands after washing in the morning. Forgot how little fun this part of the process is. Nothing new to report apart from occasional spots and itching. I have sent updates to the clinic and they said all looks healthy and fine. I think the donor has recovered well already. Will update next week when I expect most of the transplanted hair will have fallen. Just hope there’s minimal shock loss this time round.
  7. Your hairline looks brilliant and the work looks very dense. I had my second surgery the day after you on the 18th. Not sure if you saw me at the clinic on the 17th or 18th. I do remember being told on my day about someone there who had done a thorough analysis though. I’ve just hit 3 weeks today and have started to shed a few hairs. Keep updating as I think you’ll have a knock out result here.
  8. I'm not here to argue or fall out with anyone. At the end of the day everyone on here wants the OP of any thread to be able to share a positive journey and produce excellent results. You say I have bias but look at all the other positive reviews from the past year as well; GrantLeeBuffalo, Timetodecide, Shuriken, Jammerz, Hairdew, Bandersnatch. I could go on. All I'm saying is that if they are doing multiple procedures everyday and there are only a couple of negative cases then it's not a situation that Asmed are suddenly producing sub par results. Even in all of the cases you state, it was a case of density issues rather than bad workmanship. The reasons for these results could be nothing to do with the clinic. No results are ever guaranteed. I can assure you though as with planetstephen that if you communicate with them that they will do all they can to assist you. I did have a very personal experience. Not always with Dr Koray but with Sema, my technicians, everyone I met. If somebody wants a Dr led procedure from start to finish then fair enough but Asmed have never tried to hide the fact that this isn't what they offer. You only had to read some reviews to realise that extractions and implantation is done by technicians. Or that there are multiple surgeries every day. I'm going to stop commenting as at the end of the day you have a right to feel however you want to feel. I just think you'd be better served by trying to be proactive about this rather than condemning Asmed. As I have already said your own result will still improve as well over the coming months.
  9. How have things progressed for you at 6 months?
  10. I was lucky! I spent months reviewing clinics and their cases before I committed to a Doctor. Any patient would request the same team of technicians as they understand my background. In all honestly I was told they assign you the same technicians anyway for that reason. I spoke to dozens of patients from Asmed prior to my first procedure and I am still in touch with many of them. All of whom are happy with their results. Most of us like Jean, Yaz and myself that go back for a second pass are doing so because we are looking to turn a great result into an exceptional one. Your ignorance to this fact is your downfall. I'm not saying you have had a good result but you were unhappy with your result before you'd even stepped out of the clinic. You still have in my opinion months left for your results to improve. If I was you I would have worked with the clinic to a resolution rather than tried to hang them out to dry. I've spent more time than most on here with Dr Koray and with the team at Asmed and I can only implore their approach and methods.
  11. Yes that is correct I had new growth up until about month 8/9 maybe even a little later in the vertex. Month 10 was when I finally looked in the mirror and had that wow moment. You have plenty of time!
  12. You must have had your procedure along time ago then as even at my first procedure two years ago Dilek was not a technician. I am unsure on her title but I know she is a partner of Asmed and has been in the business since it’s creation. Grafts at the wrong angles is all to do with the incisions made anyway so would have nothing to do with any technician. During both my procedures I was continuously told that they were putting single graft in the hair line.
  13. You are changing what I’ve said to suit your own agenda and to that effect there is no point me continuing commenting on this thread. Just to be certain for anyone else reading. Dilek is not a technician and no technicians make incisions. Dr Erdogan certainly wouldn’t treat his patients like guinea pigs either. I’ve spent time speaking to him and he has the best interest of every patient at heart. As for my own results, I was never unhappy with the density. You are wrong with that statement. I was realistic with my expectations and knew that I would need a second pass before I had the first procedure. Many wouldn’t have had a second pass being in my position as they all commented on here. I chose too. Every patient on here has an issue with density. We all want more of it. If you are anything more than a Norwood 2 than you will always be chasing that one.
  14. Those same techs provided an outstanding result for myself. Point being that because you are unhappy with your result doesn’t mean that his model doesn’t work. It just hasn’t worked for yourself. You are making a lot of assumptions which is why it would be best to wait and hear what Dr Erdogan has to say on the matter himself. There is also Dilek who many of you are forgetting. She is a partner at Asmed and has been with Dr Erdogan since the beginning. She is also constantly on hand and on both of my surgeries she was in to check on me and also made a small number of incisions when I had surplus grafts. Your post implies there are many bad cases coming out of Asmed but this isn’t so. There are a couple on here who are unhappy and if there are multiple procedures every day then they must still be doing something right.
  15. Why is everyone so worried nowadays at only four months in? I’m not being patronising but you have the best months to come. It’s only just started at four months. Don’t judge anything till after a year and even then mine improved thereafter. Here to put your mind at ease a little look at the difference in mine between month 6 and 12. It’s like night and day. You have had a lot of early growth so be happy about that.
  16. Having had procedures performed at both clinics and being completely honest I did find my experience at the new clinic to feel not quite as personal as my first procedure. On the day I had my procedure there were five other people also having procedures. I think with such a large clinic you will lose a little of that personal touch. In reality though I spent as much time with Dr Erdogan this time around as I did for my first procedure so the model they use hasn’t changed at all, he is just doing it on a larger scale. I requested the same technicians as I previously had and I’m certain I will have another outstanding result and am not worried in the slightest. As someone else rightly said they seem to have the most coverage on this site and because of that the amount of unhappy patients will obviously increase somewhat. I find it really unfair that posters like HT0416 make claims that he gives you a muff of hair that depleted your donor zone. You couldn’t be more wrong. Dr Erdogan cares about each individual patient more than you’d realise. They guy does more for innovating the FUE technique than any other surgeon I’m reading about. I’m not just sticking up for him and I think if there are concerns about a loss of quality control then the mods can give him a chance to explain but your comments are ridiculous when you look back over the past five years at the number of amazing results he’s provided. Of course within that you will have a percentage that aren’t happy. Slating his practice constantly get us or you nowhere.
  17. 2 Weeks Post Op Not much to report at this stage. Really happy with the density compared to these shots following my first procedure. I am getting some spots again in the donor region now. No pain whatsoever and numbness has subsided greatly in the recipient. Will update again next week as the shed begins.
  18. I didn’t. Do you think it does? To be honest I worry about the donor more than I do the recipient. Sometimes I do think it looks a little thin? Thoughts?
  19. Day 10 Post Op Made it Day 10 without any incidents and happy to report that all the scabs are off. This time around I felt the healing process was much quicker and I think I was largely pain free by about Day 6. Maybe this was due to it being a much small procedure. As you can see redness from the front has completely gone but a little remains in the vertex as it did before. I’ve been using aloe Vera gel on the donor area since about day 7 and will start using on the recipient area from tomorrow as well. Find this really helps with itching and helping to heal the skin. I have drunk and eaten quite a bit of rubbish over the Christmas period including a few glasses of wine and am not concerned this will effect my outcome. I washed much more thoroughly this time round and really felt like the grafts were really well lodged in by about day 3/4. I am personally really happy with how it looks now. I have the extra density in the front and the vertex that I required and considering where I was before this I can’t wait to see what a difference this makes. My donor looks good as well to me, was worried it may look a bit thin but looks fine. Have a good new year!
  20. I lost a huge amount of ground when I switched to generic. I presumed that my body was just becoming more tolerant to finasteride but realised that I had lost more hair since switching and switched back to Propecia and since then I would say I’ve improved somewhat again. I’m convinced that it was the generic finasteride and not my body becoming more tolerant as my hair hasn’t worsened since switching back. I was on generic for two years and I would advise anyone to not switch and stick to what is working for them even if it works out more expensive. I have no reason as to why this was just letting you guys know that it was true for me.
  21. Day 5 Post Op The dreaded itch. So annoying when you can’t do anything about it. Pain is improving and seems to come and go throughout the day. Redness is again much improved and I think it’s getting close to not being able to notice that I’ve had any work done already. Upon closer inspection, the hair line and vertex look much denser now so I’m really pleased.
  22. Love the hairline. Looks good mate. Have a feeling this will be a brilliant result.
  23. That’s a lot of grafts into a small area. You should be on for a very dense result here. Looks amazing! 👍🏻
