  1. What a transformation from where you came from!! You still have months ahead of thickening as well. Really impressive.
  2. I hope so pal. Only recently have I really started to believe that as well. I can see a load of hairs now so I'm hoping it's going to continue. Yeah I just sent it via the submission form on their website and then they were in touch a day or two later.
  3. Really starting to come through now! Will update in full on Wednesday.
  4. All your worries are the same as I had. You'll be fine mate. Look forward to following your journey.
  5. Yes I am still expecting many more hairs to pop out. Mine all seem to be coming through in stages rather than all together. I look so much better already as my face in now much better shaped so I'm happy just got to wait for more to show up and then to thicken! I'm feeling pretty confident that it's going to get there though. You can't go wrong with Dr Erdogan in my opinion. He would be my only choice if I was ever to return.
  6. Forgot to add this photo which shows the new hairline well.
  7. 15 Weeks Post Op As I keep saying progress is slow but the good news is that I can see tons of new hairs still coming through but they are so faint that they aren't making a difference to my appearance. As I can see all the hairs still coming through I'm certain that eventually it will be a killer result but trying to remain patient is a struggle. Not much more to say as there is no discomfort or pain at all anymore. I have no redness at all neither. Just occasional itching which I hope is new hair still coming through.
  8. Looking good mate. I'm at 3 and a half months and it is coming through but so slowly.
  9. Hey Ponchik, my crown is filling in but it is very gradual. I know it's worrying but at 4 - 12 weeks I looked worse than I ever did. I was prepared for that so I didn't mind too much. From 6 weeks onwards it got better every week. Waiting for new hair to grow is the real killer. I can see lots of new hairs coming through but they are light and take a few weeks to make a cosmetic difference. I'm not going to worry at all though as I still have 2 and half months of growth and I can see lots of new hairs still. Cheers mate. Some days I feel really confident that it will be a great result but there are then other days where it looks sparse. I know it's too early to tell so need to man up.
  10. My shockloss looked at it's worse about 6 weeks and took another 6 weeks before I looked back to normal. It's just part of the process mate.
  11. 14 Weeks Post Op Progress is slow. It does make me question whether I should stop and do monthly updates now as week by week the difference isn't overly noticeable. I think this is the most anxious I have felt during the entire process. Doubt is creeping in my mind now and it's hard not to gauge yourself against others who have experienced more growth than you at this stage. On the positive, I can still see a load of new hairs appearing but they are just very faint. There's still a load more to come through so let's hope they appear over the next few month. I appreciate I have another 3 months before I need to actually worry but just explaining that this is the most concerned I've felt. I have no pain, discomfort or loss of sensation anymore. Just occasional itching. I'm back playing football and hitting the gym hard now. I've been using a tiny bit of hair fibres on the crown if I have important meetings for the past week as well. Would be interested to know if people think I'm on track...
  12. Interestingly Asmed have advised that I am okay to spend 5 minutes in the sun whilst swimming as long as I don't burn the skin. They have also said it's okay at this point to apply sunscreen. I think I will just er on the side of caution and wear a hat. I was just worried about having a ridiculous line across my forehead in the evenings. Would anyone know why you are allowed to use a sunbed after 3 months but not sunbathe until 6 months?? Odd!!
  13. Hey Panda. No I've never experienced any sides whilst taking Propecia. I've been on it for longer than that. Must be 12 years now. I switched to a generic and lost some ground and have recently switched back to Propecia and hair looks thicker already. I was quoted 4500 and I ended up getting 5000. So not far off, Nope never considered pigmentation. I'm hoping this transplant will be enough for the next 10 years.
  14. I've asked Asmed as I would like to have a quick swim here and there if I can. I've also asked them if I can apply sun screen to the recipient area.
  15. I am not going to expose my head for any great amount of time. I just wanted ask people's opinion on going for a 5 minute swim and if there was a need to have to cover my head still then?
  16. I am currently a little over 3 months post procedure and I am heading to Tenerife next week for a few days to see a friend. I plan on wearing a cap as ASMED advice no sun exposure for 6 months. What about if I wanted to go for a five minute swim? Is that okay? Has anyone ever done the same? And if so did you put sun lotion directly on your head?
  17. I was lucky with the redness. Thanks Echoes. I'm hoping the next three months there is a real difference now. You are completely correct. I saw others like Justjax and Gman experience growth at 11 weeks and I was expecting the same. I was a little nervous when I had none. It seems to have just started filling in now so hopefully I can relax a little and start to enjoy it as you say. Thanks for the words of confidence.
  18. No need to be nervous. You are in good hands, all the staff at Asmed will take such great care of you. As for redness, you won't be able to tell but I would imagine it will linger around for the first month at least. Mine wasn't really noticeable after two weeks but I've seen others suffer for 3 - 4 months. Everyone is different.
  19. Just a quick update as this morning I've noticed a real difference and can even see the return of my new hairline. Hopefully this is it starting to kick in now. What a nice way to start the day!
  20. 13 Weeks Post Op So I can see lots of new hairs but there are areas where I can't see any so hoping there is lots more to come. I'm trying to remain chilled about it all but it does play on your mind that it's not going to happen. My crown has definitely improved as you can see from the photos below. I even went out for a meal at the weekend with just some aloe vera gel in my hair and I didn't feel too conscious. I am getting times during the day where my heads feels really itchy and lots of little bumps / pimples appearing so I'm hoping things are still happening. Mine may be a little more sporadic I guess? We shall see.
  21. 3 Months Post Op I will post my normal weekly update tomorrow at 13 weeks but 3 months is really where I wanted to get too quickly prior to the procedure and I'm here. I'm back to where I was pre-op and I have lots of new growth starting. I'm hoping this month to see a real change.
  22. Just seen this as been away for the weekend. It's crazy how much it has changed over the past two months. Really pleased for you. You have months left for more growth yet and for those hairs to mature.
  23. It's the best it's looked in years and I can feel a ton of stubble. Really hoping that month 3 - 4 I see a big change as others have.
  24. So I have been worrying a little of late that I wasn't growing as quickly as some others have but I think the issue is my constant daily checking. I looked back at different weeks from week 6 (when my shed stabilised) to week 12 (where I'm at now) and the difference is crazy. You can even see the difference in the new hair coming in at the frontal area. I've posted photos below as may be useful to others.
