  1. Nice Matt. Great hairline choice, that will age well.
  2. Thanks for the reassurance guys. You do tend to panic and think "is this going to be it"...:eek:
  3. Ok. Two weeks off the six month mark. Cosmetically there is a decent improvement but the right side is very sparse and I can't see any new hair coming through. There's not even baby hair or black dots that I saw during the initial stages of growth. The temples don't match the density of the existing hair...yet. Is it panic time, or is there time for improvement? I'm generally really pleased so far but would like consistent density all over. If you look at my before pics, there is a great cosmetic improvement, so are my expectations too high at this stage? Another thing is, the new hair is very wiry and has a mind of it's own. Is this normal?
  4. I'm six months post op with Dr Saifi. I had 1600 fue in November last year and couldn't fault him or his clinic. The results on his website are not as good as the ones on his private computer. He has some outstanding case studies in his own collection. Obviously, not everyone wants to go public with their surgery. My result is coming on at nearly six months, but i'm a bit worried that the density isnt going to improve. I've been told it's too early to judge the result. With Saifi, everything is taken care of. Airport pick ups, nice hotel, painless and comfortable procedure with very nice staff.
  5. Approaching the six month mark in a few weeks. Things havent really changed much since my last pic. I am concerned in case the density isn't going to improve, as i dont see any new hairs coming through. There is also a small patch on the right temple that doesnt have any hair in it, or coming through. Am i too early to start panicking, or should i be worried? Cosmetically, there is a great improvement, but i'm concerned where the density is going.
  6. Personally, I thought it looked great buzzed. You have the face for it.
  7. It's so important to keep a photographic timeline, as the changes are so subtle from month to month.. Looks on track and going to be a great result.
  8. Just a few days off the five months mark. I can't believe how quickly this year has gone in! The hairline has formed and the hair is evening out growth wise. I'm hoping the density is going to improve and there's a small, about half a cm patch on the right side where no hair appears to be growing. Hopefully this will fill in. I'm delighted at how it has gone so far. I'd definitely recommend anyone to get this done as it does help your self esteem and how you feel about yourself in general. Hopefully there's more improvement to come. Critique appreciated. .. Most recent pic taken in low light, but you can see where the improvements are with the one month post op pic!!
  9. That's a tremendous result Jax. I'm a month and a half behind you. Hair is growing and a new hairline is formed, but seems there isn't much new hair coming through the last few weeks. I hope this is a phase that will improve. I know what you mean about the new hair being hard to control. It's almost "pubic" like, for want of a better definition.
  10. Just over 4 months now and it's starting to really kick off. Still very sparse, but I'm delighted the way it's going so hopefully will be a good final result.
  11. Nice. Looks like it will be a great result. Unfortunately, the shed and long wait is coming, so enjoy the new hairline for the next while!
  12. This is tremendous. Just looked at your pre op pics. Going to be a great result. Massive difference already. Money well spent. You're the same age as me...my mid life crisis colour is just for men light Blonde..;)
  13. I'm going to go out on a limb on this one and say i think his original look would have matured better as he aged. Good result though and the main thing is he is happy with it.
  14. You should have lost the scabs by now. Have a warm shower and soak your head well. Put on shampoo and gently rub it on (the grafts will be more or less secure now). Leave for around 20 minutes to soak into the scabs. Gently rinse off by rubbing gently with a soft sponge. You should see most of them coming off. Repeat this every day until the scabs come off. You are probably seeing the start of the shed now. Mine started around 7 days after surgery, with a few hairs coming off. Definitely get rid of the scabs at this point. BTW, the hairline is fine, you don't want it any lower.
  15. Going to be a great result. He knows what he is doing with the hairline. I trusted him completely on that. I didn't want it low, as I didn't think it would look right and I didn't want a radical transformation. Worst bit now is the shed and wait for regrowth. Time really does fly though and it will be back soon enough ! The shampoo is fine. I'm just not sure if it's any better than lipogaine or revita that I've used previously.
  16. I got the green line box. To be honest, its quite a lot of hassle to use and i'm not sure it makes much of a difference. There is a lot of pre shampoo to be left on for 15 minutes, shampoo, conditioner, vial to be put on afterwards etc. Can't see any big difference to normal shampoo, but i'll keep using it. The liquid in the vial leaves your head very red for a while afterwards. How did you find the experience? Any pics? Get ready for the long wait......
  17. Often wondered why Law never got a hair transplant. He has awesome donor and it would look great.
  18. Wow! I'd be happy even if that was the final result. .. and still more to come!!
  19. Yep, packed it in after 3 weeks due to sides. Good luck if it works for you, but not for me. Would prefer a receding hairline and a working dick...
  20. Sorry, but it doesn't look like anything has been done here, apart from the hair combed differently.
  21. Take some anti inflammatory meds for the swelling. It should go down in a few days. A loose fitting baseball cap should be fine to wear to work.
