  1. This happened with me as grafts were apparently popping out. I also heard him saying about "good density ".. My right side is still not great but I'm happy with the general improvement. It's not quite like an erdogan result, but it's not bad.
  2. This is really the stage you will start seeing some growth. I'd be interested to see how the right side develops, as this is my weaker side, a year down the line.
  3. I buzzed mine after four days, with a number 3 clipper to even it out, but i was very gentle. I'd say after 7 days, you're ok.
  4. Your sides are still high, your donor appears sound and the crown recession has not lowered down towards the neck. I would say you definitely have options regarding a decent result. A high hairline around the forelock, a moderate density hairline and some sparser middle and rear coverage would give a good cosmetic result.
  5. Lovely, neat work. Going to be good in 7 months time or so. Get ready for the shed and the long wait.....
  6. What size punch was used? The donor holes look quite large, although, overall, the work looks very neat.
  7. You'll notice growth starting in a month or so. This is the worst bit, as you think you've wasted your money. Hang in there...
  8. I would be interested to see photographs of your results from Saifi and the scar. I let him draw the hairline on me, although i'd have hoped for more density, the actual hairline shape and height is pretty much perfect aesthetically. I find it strange that he didn't discuss your expectations, prior to surgery. You could get some fue grafts into the scar, if you want to keep your hair shorter.
  9. I was standing under a light, so it is quite harsh. I would have wanted it to be a bit more dense, but hey!!
  10. O Thanks for the endorsement.:D Problem is, you sign documents prior to surgery, basically accepting that outcomes will vary... caveat emptor....so, I doubt if there'll be a free touch up, or correction of perceived poor results. What i'm finding strange, is the density at the right side was better at around 7 months and has got thinner since. To be honest, i'm nearly 50, so it's not the end of the world. Bit of toppik and stick with the minoxidil.... For perspective. .Here's a before pic..
  11. Looks worse to you to be honest. This looks about right at this stage. Some redness persists, for others it goes quickly. The new hair will start growing soon and it will be less noticeable.
  12. Looking forward to seeing this progress. Keep posting pics. Always impressed with the work at HDC. Very clean and neat, with good fue yields. BTW, the 1980s want their hair back...:D Seriously, I think your hair would look great with a shorter cut.
  13. I would agree with your comments about my results, although there has been a decent cosmetic improvement, compared to where i was, the density isn't what I expected. To be honest, I'm not sure I can be bothered with a second procedure at the moment. I'll maybe reconsider at some point in the future.
  14. As requested. . Here are my year mark pictures. Taken under bright light with my hair quite short. Right side is still weak as can be seen in the pictures. To be honest, I think there was more density here around the 7th month mark. So this would be transplanted hair that's been lost. I'm not sure if this is cyclical and will improve, but here's hoping. Overall I'm happy enough with the result, but the density in the transplanted area is not the same as the existing hair. Also, the transplanted hair has a bit of a mind of it's own and is quite wiry. I'm still using lipogaine once a day and taking Saw palmetto and Pumpkin Seed oil, as well as biotin. I had to stop fin after a few weeks due to sides, as i'd rather be balding and have a working d...k..:D Feel free to comment. .
  15. Consider that he charges by the hair, not graft. 1000 will make no difference imo, given your degree of loss evident in the pictures.
  16. I thought HT's like this were a thing of the past.:eek: See a reputable HT surgeon asap. Good luck getting this sorted out. To lighten it up a bit, I think I found who your Dr was...
  17. These look great. The Black guy looks outstanding, compared to the before pic. Great face framing.
  18. Remember, you've had nearly 3000 grafts taken out of the back, so the density is not going to be the same. Everything looks as it should be. The shed should be starting shortly.....
  19. I agree with the Drs assessment. You have to appreciate, that these guys do this day in, day out and know what will work, in terms of facial aesthetics and donor availability.
  20. I'd recommend trying lipogaine. I found it easier to apply and less irritating than rogaine.
  21. This stage is truly awful. The good thing is, you should see some growth starting in a month or so.
  22. Awesome result mate. Can't believe that's been a year. I'm there myself next month, at the year point. You're getting hair greed! :D You definitely don't need a second round!! BTW everyone's hair is nearly see through under those lights!!:eek:
