    I had both lateral slit and forceps implant FUE then another FUE with the lion pen which is DHI and I would strongly recommend DHI I posted a study which shows that DHI will minimize damage to the grafts and provide very good angle control which I can attest looking at my own head Worth the extra cost

    by using topical minox you get some in blood as well so oral isn't much different I read studies which show that alcohol on the new grafts can prevent a good connection with new blood vessels so I wanted to avoid applying alcohol directly for at least a month Minox will help wiht early growth and minimize shock loss and help with faster recovery of the shock loss hair as well Oral works fine I am good responder to minox I bought oral minox pills for cheap in Thailand I get the face skin degradation effect on minox so oral isn't a long term solution for me I switched back to topical once a day after a month or two

    I will post my 6 months on the 6/20 So far very happy with results I saw the results, positive reports from seasoned transplantee, location is convenient for apac residents and prices are very reasonables

    I would choose demirsoy as he can get good density better than Bhatti but for your area to cover and number of grafts, thin Caucasian hair you won't get good density with this number so either docs will be similar in results for you Depends on how low you want the hairline to be You can always get another Fue to increase density once that blood flow has been improved after a first wide but low density coverage

    I did prepare a nice soft thick rope bought in advance for the occasion but I guess any rope or string will work if you ask your hotel maybe they have some For my first Fue I used tee shirts attached together to form a rope

    The doc gave me a small bottle of shampoo which seems to be the same as famous j&j baby shampoo Mix some on you hand and gently pat on the hair then use a shower head while placing your hand bedore the head to cut the jet of water No issue Also, I sleept elevated and tied my two wrists to the bed so to not scratch my head in my sleep as it gets itchy this is crucial as you can loose grafts in the first 5 days

    Hermit mode for 4 months is a long time I had to go back to my office after 2 weeks and date new women so ugly duckling was not an option No one ever noticed anything during those 4 months thanks to the comb over How is he donor area?

    Good that you did grow the hair on top That will allow you to avoid the ugly duckling phase by doing a comb over That's what I did for my second Fue and that made a huge difference in terms of improvement of the whole HT experience

The pen can only be used by docs or techs under close supervision as the incision and implantation is done in one operation hence the extra cost - the doc is less able to run procedures in parallel Top docs use the pen and do the work themselves and techs just load and pass the pens

    I would load on calcium supplements and leafy vegetables 2 days before the surgery Drop all the other supplements, don't eat fatty fish either for a week before as it has fish oil which thins blood If course no alcohol either Only finasteride is fine all the time This is what I did and got almost no bleeding and zero scabs Restarted oral minox a week after the HT and the usual supplements such as biotin msm and chondroitin sulfate etc Didnt you just had a HT with Asmed?

    Whatever you decide do not go for FUT Not worth the scar I had 2 Fue and a total of 3700 grafts The growth yield has been very Good and the donor looks like nothing happened at all to my eyes In fact you can extract more grafts from Fue than Fut since you don't need to have long hair to cover the scar

    Top docs like Dr Couto - booked 3 years in advance - are using the implanter pen with top notch results The tech driven mills are using the older lateral slit method since the doc can only do a very small portion due to time constraints, as they need to rotate patients on the same day, so that is usually only the incisions job
