  1. Fantastic result compared with where u were at your preop http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/173863-4-weeks-post-op-2442-fue-dr-jose-lorenzo-uk.html
  2. I have heard it said that past two weeks the only way a graft can be dislodged is with the surgeon's scrapel, I.e. there is little if any physical trauma that could result in you losing grafts after this period. Having said that, I believe Dr Lorenzo instructs his patients not tp buzz their hair for at least six (6) months. Whether this has any relationship with him thinking the grafts are not completely secure then and/or susceptible to damage from the blades, I don't know.
  3. You won't find many users here because a) its very expensive and b) the results are underwhelming. These laser devices are marketed to appear a lot more effective than they are in practice. I've also got a hunch that the customers who promote these devices online work for these companies or are paid to endorse their effectiveness. I would save your money.
  4. The thing that really put me off getting strip is the claim u cannot revert to your normal gym regimen for at least six months. Sod that! I was back to lifting weights within four weeks of my FUE.
  5. Blake any idea why there is a disparity between docs on when patients can buzz their hair after surgery? Ten days to six months is a huge disparity, what could be the medical basis for not buzzing your hair for up to six months post op?
  6. My doc, Dr Feriduni, has had his techs for years and they do all the extractions and implanting. He told me he has ongoing pain in his hands from years of surgery which is one of the reasons why he does not do all of the extractions himself. People perhaps underestimate the physical demands FUE places on the surgeons hands, and have unrealistic expectations that they should be doing absolutely everything where it is not feasible or necessary. I say not necessary because, in Dr Feriduni's case, his techs are exceptionally skilled and experienced, so it comes down to not just knowing your doc, but knowing your techs as well, because with FUE you are buying into the whole package. This means when researching, not just obsessing over the doctor, as everyone tends to do, but finding out information about the techs as well, and this is something I suspect most of us don't do in our research.
  7. Coming along nicely and still in the beginning stages of growth so lots still to come, it's a weird process to go through, reverse balding.
  8. Erdogan does go for a lot more grafts than other docs and while that may be his method, I question whether it is always in the patient's best interests. Short term, perhaps, but long term not so sure. I prefer the less is more approach advocated by Bisanga, Reddy et al, but to each their own.
  9. There is a patient here who has a blog on his procedure with this surgeon so if you have any questions he may be able to help http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/175295-fredthebelgians-fue-2000-grafts-dr-de-reys-24-years-old-nw5-dpa.html
  10. To those who have had an HT and are more than 18 months post op, roughly speaking what percentage of your overall growth did you observe at five (5) months?
  11. That hair surge shampoo you reference allegedly has a lot of fake reviews on Amazon and only has 0.2% keto which is much less than the amount that has been clinically shown to be effective for AGA (2%)
  12. I would wait and see how it blends in, I don't think the gap is that noticeable to be honest.
  13. I've noticed from recent patient reports here that Doganay appears to be splitting larger sessions over two days rather than doing a 4k plus mega session in one day like he used to.
  14. Wow, actually had to double check this wasn't FUT from Rahal; going to be fantastic @ 12 months, you have come a long way
  15. Noticed this myself five days after taking a hair skin and nails formula with 2.5mg biotin, think I will stop as a spotty forehead is not worth the tradeoff of faster growth.
  16. Nanogen is great but it is better in the back of the head than at the hairline, also remember less is more.
  17. If you are on the big 3 of fin, minox, and keto shampoo, what *one* other product would you recommend the most?
  18. Thanks for the response SL, that is a good plan and there is a noticeable improvement.
