  1. Hey everybody. A bit of background. I have been using regaine and finasteride for over 10 years but it has only managed to stem the tide of my diffuse hairloss. In sheer desperation I visited three hair transplant clinics about nine months ago. They all said a HT could be done. After saving money up for nine months I went back to them to see who would fit my budget and suddenly they all decline doing HT. The reason being my hair was just a bit too dense now to avoid shockloss. One of the doctors looked quite puzzeled and had to look again. After returning I had a look myself on the top of my scalp, I see what they mean, it dos seems more dense. I must say Im a bit unhappy that I cant get a HT, but on the other hand its nice to know Im doing something that is kind of working. I write "kind of" because it by no means solve my HL problems, I still have to use a lot of concelers to make it look presentable, but its a bit more easy to manage. But what did I do differently? Well about 7 months ago I started using a ketoconazole shampoo (every secound day) and two month ago I started using Tricomin shampoo (every second day) and Tricomin conditioner (every day.). So the jury is out on what caused this change, but Im inclined to belief its the keto shampoo because of what I have read so far, thus my headline. Just wanted to let you guys know. Have a great day.
  2. Hello. Yeah its not fibers its a volumizing styling product. SySperling10 maybe our HL is different, I have diffuse thining. Anyway any one out there that have tried it and experienced that it makes hair dry? Have a nice day.
  3. Hello everybody. So I added Toppik Hair Fattener to my morning ritual, that orginal being Rogaine foam and the toppik. I intended to use it for going to parties and such, but the results are almost addicting. I now can put up my front hair in a very handsome way (hope that one make sense). So I have been using it the last three weeks. But alas there is always a snake in paradise, in the evening my hair feels more dry and lifeless. Suddenly I start to wonder if this is not something one should use everyday. Have anyone else experienced something like this with Toppik Hair Fattener? Have a nice day.
  4. Hi all. Did anyone try Regenepure Precision 5% Minoxidil spray? If so what are your thoughts? Is the just the same as Rogaine? Does the the sprayer makes it more easy to apply?
  5. Hello buddy. Did you go Dr. Mohebi's office? What did they say? In case the say that you are too young for a HT or that your loss are to advance to get a decent result dont despair. You are still the same person without much future hair. As I read your message you worry about the ladies and there are indeed ladies out there who dont care about hairloss also hot ones, trust me on this. But you are also right that that first impressions matter, but why you think its only a matter of hair or no hair? First of all if you come on as confedent it will create a real good impression. Of course I understand that can be hard if one is down about going bald and I have been there. But you can build your confedence. You could for example shave all your hair off, then start hitting the gym...a lot and if you dont already do that you could start eating clean. Slowly but surely you will be more muscular and girls dig that. In this way you will not be the balding guy in the corner, but a guy with more confedence. This is just something that helped me out for some of my problems even though Im in the same boat as you when it comes to wanting an HT, so who knows maybe you can use it also. Best of luck!
  6. Hi. Sorry for the late reply but I have been really swamped by work. My memory fails me when it comes to how well I preformed in the sack 7 years ago. But I get your point Ontop, side effects from the drug don’t just pop up after so many years or do they? I’m no doctor. Speaking of doctors, you guys wouldn't believe how old fashion doctors are in my country; basically they kind of roll their eyes of these kinds of problems. If I come to my doctor and said if he could advise me on fin and libido then I just knew he would advise me to drop the drug and say bye bye to my hair. Well on to KO's advice its a good one I think. I did try to investigate further and wow there is some strong opinions out there, some people say fin have destroyed their life other think that’s totally BS. These three last days I did a mini experiment. I didn't take my Fin. Yesterday I could really feel a strong sexual desire, so I was kind of thinking there must be a connection. But then today it suddenly struck me, I’m on a conference now: nice hotel room, healthy food, sauna and there are a lot of hot women here so what guy wouldn’t feel the juices flow more freely? So in the end I’m none the wiser. Anyway I’m going to try taking the dose EOD later in the year. Thanks for your help guys.
  7. Thanks a lot for your answar sir. Good idea I will look into it.
  8. Hello everybody. Im brand new in here so please excuse me if I ask something that have already been thoroughly discussed in the past. Background for my question. Im a 37 year old guy who are suffering from diffuse hairloss over the most of my scalp. I have been on finasteride for about 7 years. I went all in an started so many things at the same time: propecia, regaine and eating healthy, so it difficult to know what did what. But my hairloss slowed nothing more than that, every year I will get a bit more thin on the top just very slowly. For some years I had trouble with erectile dysfunction and always contributed to my age or a depression caused by the deaths of my parents. But lately it have been worse...much worse and not surprisingly it effect my relationship with women quite a lot. I realize of course that can be a number of reason behind low libido, but I would like to test out if there are an connection with me taking finasteride. But how to safely test it out? I kind of also want to go off it to see if it even makes any difference in my hair, but at the same time Im scared shitless that it will make my hair even more diffuse. On to my questions: Have anyone of you out there gone off finasteride because you felt it lowered your low libido? If so how fast could your libido come back? Did it come back? Also how long time did it take before you could see an incresed hairloss becaus not taking finasteride. Sorry if this post was a tad too long. Cant wait for your replies.
