  1. No I dont. But i can tell you even today if I get my hair cut 1-2 mm then the harvested area is easily noticeable. I guess the yield is around 50-60% How do I know? I counted the hair in an area of 2 cm and compared with post op pics
  2. More than two years and I want to share how it looks now. Not bad in the end
  3. An update after 9 months. The yield rate is around %50 as expected. I still clean the hook shaped grafts manualy. I confirm that the grafts that were folded while planting had no growth. I will post a picture soon. I am happy with the overall result. It looks natural and a huge upgrade to my previous look. However I am really sad with the fact that the result could actually be much better.

  5. Thank you for the great info. So in my case I tried fin and I seriously felt depressed. If I want hair to feel better and if the treatment doesnt make me feel better then there is no point to continue medication. Its my fifth day without fin and I really feel better.
  6. Thank you guys for the responses. What I wonder is if I continue taking fin, will side effects regress, the body gets used to the med? Or will my depression continue the same and even worse become permanent. Depending on your recommendation I will either immidiately stop using it or try it some more time.
  7. i can live without hair, but I would feel more comfortable with some hair on top. I am 5 month post my ht operation. Yield rate doesnt look good. I am recommended to take fin to improve the results. But his anxiety is killing me. If it gets better in time, i would like to continue taking the drug.
  8. I have started using finasteride 20 days ago. Only this week I noticed I suffer from anxiety, depression. I made a google search and it confirms that finasteride has strong connections with depression. What do you guys recommend? Will my situation improve in the future or should I quit using the drug?
  9. I am not a big fan of hairline reconstruction due to the concerns you mention. Fue transplanted hair grows thinner if not done properly. Its been 5 months since my hair transplant and I never grow my hair longer than 3 mm. I have had my hair cut countless times. Its impossible to tell if I had hair transplant. My scalp was red for three months but I never had visible scars or white dots on my scalp
  10. There are tons of successful hair transplants coming from cheap clinics in turkey. The problem is they dont have consistent good results. Its really hard to get accurate information. The staff turnover rate in those clinics are very high. Maybe they employ the same doctors for many years, keep in mind that the majority of the work done are held by techs who change their work places regularly.
  11. Istanbul is totaly safe. No need to worry about that.
  12. You don't need HT. Please don't risk your hair and money for an unnecessary operation.
  13. thanks darlin You are right that I have to wait. But they have used 4 k grafts. Last month only a few of them started to grow. And no more progress since then. if the growth rate continue like this I give zero chance that yield rate will be over 50%. transmedfail, you definately over paid. I know transmed pricing policy and its not more than 3000 eu no matter how much grafts they use. Maybe they charge less for turkish people like me. I am not going to share the name of the clinic before I see the final result. But I am already sure it will end up with failure.
  14. I have had a HT operation 4 months ago in turkey for a price of 1200 eu for 4000 grafts. I dont expect to have a yield rate more than 50% because the operation was done so poorly. I see some hair already growing but they are extremely thin. Unfortunately that is the case with most clinics in Turkey. I have seen great results after very cheap HT operations but its a matter of luck. You may pay less but you loose very precious grafts after the operation
  15. 1 week after my fue operation, it was impossible to notice any fue scar on my scalp. They used 0.7 mm punch for extraction. the yield rate is poor though. I would still go with fue instead of fut. I have seen many people having weird located hair. Especially HT done on the hairline is very noticeable a few years later the operation. A second operation or smp can be required after 30
